Called Jeff Thursday morning, he promised to come at 2:00 p.m. Arrived on time, performed the above service in less than 20 minutes and issued a one year warranty.

Jeff showed up on time and quickly determined that the problem was the frozen-over coil. He manually defrosted the coil. The diagnostics checked out ok so there was probably no "real" problem. Most likely a glitch in the defrost cycle because of the power surges from the recent storms. He advised that sometimes it is necessary to turn off the power to reset the electronics. Also showed how to run the diagnostics.

I called and left a message at approx 8:40, received a return call by 9:00 and the technician was at my home and completed by 10:30. Great response time at a descent price! I am in the service business and I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs appliance repair.

Since I paid for a trip charge for the unbroken dishwasher, he offered to take a look at my washer and dryer. He found that the dryer had a lot of lint in it and needed to be cleaned out. We've been using him for over five years and I have referred him to other people as well.

Amazing service. Called Jeff at Affordable at 2pm when refridgerator broke, and he managed to fit us into his schedule the same afternoon. Was at the house in about an hour and took perhaps 2 & 1/2 hours to complete the job, including a trip out to pick up two parts. Cost way less than expected and Jeff was a total professional in his service attitude, communication and all aspects of his job performance. We will use only Jeff and Affordable in the future and give him the highest possible recommendation!

I called Jeff and left a message on his cell phone on Saturday morning. He called back and asked for the make and model of our refrigerator. He did some research on this and called back that he was on his way and arrived at 2:00 PM. This was a weekend and we got very quick response. He told us that there were 3 possible parts that would need to be replaced and he found that the computer board was the part that needed replacement. This part needed to be ordered from the factory but he explained how we could avoid problems with the refrigerator until the new part arrived. He was very friendly and professional and if we need to make use of his services again we will.

I called 4pm and received a return call 9am the next day. Jeff came out within the hour and immediately diagnosed the problem. He returned with an ice maker in short order and installed it. He also re-installed the back panel that I had removed to look for a potentially easy fix (the wife insisted that I pull the panel since we hadn't cleaned back there for 10 years.)

Outstanding! The job was completed in a very timely and professional manner! When I asked questions, he responded promptly and politely.

I called on a Thursday afternoon and was told that he would be out to see me Friday before 1 p.m., so at 12:30 p.m. I called because I had to leave the house shortly after 1 p.m. and wanted to see if he was on his way. The voice mail said that he was not working Friday through Sunday! No call, no mention of it the night before, and he had taken my address and information and told me he would call me on his way and be there 'tomorrow morning'. So now I sit here with a fridge at 65 degrees for the weekend. Thanks buddy.

Jeff was very punctual and professional. Within an hour and a half he was at our home diagnosing the problem on our refrigerator. He told us he would need to leave and order the part, and he would be back as soon as he obtained it. Within two hours he returned, installed the new part, and the refrigerator is working great! We were very impressed with his professionalism and friendliness, and would definitely hire him again.

Jeff checked out the electrical and then cleaned out the part, just as I figured. I just didn't know what to do myself. He also loosened the filter in my refrigerator and replaced the filter with one I already had. Just charged me for a trip charge. Everything is working again.

Overall it was painless, efficient and top quality service. In a very timely manner - highly recommend this guy!

After the other company strung me out for several days and then did not do any work, Affordable started out with a one gotcha handicap. When I called he said he would try and get by the end of that day. When he could not he called and made an appointment for 8:30 am the next day. He showed up at 8:25 and had done the job by 8:35 adding more than half the total freon. By evening a thermometer was showing 8F and by morning 4F in the freezer.

He showed up the same day I called and successfully repaired my machine both times. He was professional and correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone before arriving, thus there were no surprises.
