AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE

Overall, it didnt go anywhere. I tried 3 times to get these people to set up an appointment to come fix my refrigerator. When they did finally answer the phone I couldnt get them to set up a date and time because they had limited availability and werent willing to come out on a Saturday morning. So overall, not very accomodating. I called another appliance repair person Saturday morning, to set up something for Monday, and instead he was at my door 2 hours later. THAT is what wins my business.

They replaced the drum on my dryer. They had to order the part and that took about a week to arrive. Overall I think they were punctual, professional, and did great work. I would return to this company in the future.

Amazing service! I called in the morning and within 2 hours I had dishwasher up and running with the new panel. I washed all the dishes by hand, thinking it will be days till we get it fixed or have to get a new dishwasher. It was the main panel that burned out and none of the buttons were working on our Kenmore dishwasher. Jeff brought the part with him just in case, and fixed it right away. He is always very knowledgeable, professional, honest and efficient at fixing our appliances. He fixed several appliances for us in the past, including the dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator. I always call him and he comes out right away, and fixes it the same day, if he can get the part right away.

We have used Jeff twice and each time he was very prompt and professional. We can recommend him with confidence.

I will definately recommend Jeff Wilson and Affordable Appliance service to all my friends and neighbors when they need any repairs. He is very reasonbly priced. He arrived on time (acctually 10 minutes early) and was very clean and efficient in his work.

Called on Thursday afternoon and came out Friday morning and fixed both appliances. :-) Very pleased with overall service!

So far everything is working well. Jeff showed up a little later than expected, but in his defense he did have to drive on I-4 down to Kissimmee. Jeff went directly to work, investigating the refrigerator after a brief discussion of what was occurring. Jeff had brought the needed parts and completed repairs in short order. Cleaned up the area, discussed what he saw, and was gone.

I called on Saturday, Dec 17th. I explained my problem - my oven door was not opening and then when I got it open I could not close it all the way. It seems to be a hinge problem. I gave the model # and the serial #. He called me back the same day and told me he would call me first thing Monday morning to sched the repair as he knew several places that had parts in stock. He still has not gotten back to me. I will never call this company again.

My Hotpoint washing machine began making some unusual noises one night and, the next morning, finally quit draining, with a load of wet towels in the machine. I got the name of Jeff's company from Angie's List and, seeing that he was fairly close to where I live, gave him an early-morning phone call. He came out that same morning, checked the machine, said the pump was dead, and installed a new one. Jeff did a great job in a timely and efficient manner. He even helped tidy up. We really appreciate what he did.

I opted to go with the manufacturer's(Whirlpool) authorized repair service. Big mistake. Affordable Appliance arrived in less than 3 hours in the pouring rain on a Saturday. The factory technician misdiagnosed the problem and it took me a full month to get my refrigerator repaired. Affordable diagnosed the issue correctly and I feel confident I would have had an operable refrigerator in days rather than weeks.

Our Maytag washer stopped rinsing and spinning. We called Affordable Appliance Service of Oviedo to come out and look at it. We had a little trouble with communication with missed calls and failure to call us back in a timely manner but we finally got a hold of them. The diagnosis was a bad transmission and we were advised to go buy a new machine since the repair would be costly. I appreciate that they didn't recommend the repair just to make money. We also got some tips on which machines were good and which ones to avoid. The repairman also told us to call him while we were looking for a machine if we had any questions.

They were doing my entire appliance repairs at one point. You expect a level of excellence and dignity when you give him 200 properties to service and I had ample issues with his fixing appliances. I can understand if it is a one-time service to repair an appliance and he charges you a service call to come back and fix it again but you don't expect somebody to do that when you are giving him 200 properties worth of stuff. I understand that business is business but you kind of think that he would build a better relationship. You also expect him to be on top of things. It is also bad when you have sent a work order and he doesn't show up for about a month. His price is a little steep and you are better off buying something brand new when you consider the cost for him to repair it. You may as well buy something brand new by the time he comes to fix a dishwasher or a washer and dryer and things like that. He doesn’t give a discount. I feel that he may be good for fixing residential appliances if you are prepared to spend the money but not for commercial work. I would use him if I just had a house and wanted to call somebody if my refrigerator or something else broke down but not if I were a company and wanted to hire someone to do all my jobs and be on my team.

Jeff is prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him again if I need appliance service and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Showed up on time and was finished within an hour. I was very pleased with his work.

Jeff arrived and inspected our refrigerator and discovered that the thermostat was not working. When he removed the old thermostat which was installed only about a year ago, he showed it to us and advised that whoever installed it, did not istall the correct size and thus the reason it burnt out. He had the part with him and showed us the difference in the sizes then he replaced it and the refrigerator started cooling again.

I would recommend them. He was great. His price was good. I would absolutely use them again.

Short and sweet and not too expensive.

My icemaker in the refrigerator went bad, researched on the internet how to repair and purchase part which cost a lot. Installed the part, icemaker did not make any ice. Tried everything they said to do but it still did not work. Called in Affordable Appliance who reinstalled the part. It behaved as it was working, waited 24 hours - still no ice. Affordable Appliance charged me $85 for the job. Called them in again, this time he brought a new part, installed the part, few hours later it started to make ice. He did not give me a bill until days later. I am please with the job done. Jeff, the owner very easy to communicate with. He explains what he did and let us know to call him if there is still a problem. I recommended him to a friend who was please with the service and cost.

The air conditioning unit is holding up well. Jeff Wilson is very accessible; it is very easy to get him to my house. He is very reasonably priced. I have had no complications with him at all. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future.

Our fridge read-out panel was blank, and we noticed the fridge wasn't quite as cold as usual. Jeff answered the phone when I called, looked into whether he could get a circuit board in case he needed it, and called back within an hour or two to schedule for the next day. He was here on time (even called on his way, as we had requested he do), checked the situation out quickly, and replaced the circuit board, all within about 15-20 minutes. Speedy, cordial, professional. I'd definitely use him again.

He is very busy so when you call he is a bit abrupt but professional once he gets time to talk.our Frig/freezer 2002 amana quit working. We were very happy with the response and the way he went to work. Our fear was we would have to shell out 800-900 repair dollars or $2500 for new (Similar) fridge. Thankfully it was only a circuit board. Nice price for the call, repair and done quickly.will use again.

The gentleman was prompt and professional. He came out and assessed the problem, but needed to order a part. He gave me a verbal quote and when I approved, he promised to order the part and return the following week to install it. It took a little longer to arrive than expected, but once it was in he came out the next day and did the installation. Dishwasher now works fine. Estimate was right on the money.

Dishwasher was plugged up. Cleaned and fixed at a reasonable price. Very satisfied.

They were on time, professional, and assessed the problem quickly. They repaired it quickly also. They were clean and neat in appearance and polite. They were not chatty. I would not worry about allowing him into my home.

Spin cycle on washing machine was not working. Arrived very quickly to check it out, gave fair quote, drove and got the part, problem was fixed with replacement part within a few hours of calling him. Professional and pricing seemed fair.
