He was prompt, courteous, and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to use again!

He arrived at the time we had arranged, introduced himself and his helper, completed the job quickly and effectivly. He came prepared with parts he thought he would need based on the problem as I had described over the phone.

this is my second experience with this repairman. My washer would only work on gentle cycle. He had repaired my refrigerator/freezer on the previous trip. He completed the fridge repairs with the parts that had been ordered and fixed my washer. both appliances have been working great ever since.

Not sure what all the rave reviews are about, but this guy never returned my call after I left him a message with the model number and the other info he had requested. Now I have wasted 3 valuable days waiting on his call back instead of scheduling an appointment with someone else who is interested in my business. He also comes off as pretty condescending over the phone, which doesn't really sit well with me, especially during my 7th month of pregnancy :)

Jeff returned my call in a timely manner, diagnosed my problem over the phone and ordered the appropriate part. He called to tell me when he was coming, was there on time, did the work quickly and neatly. I felt his price was fair and the service excellent. I would certainly use him again and recommend him.

I called 2 other companies and was told the same repairs would be about $280. When I called Affordable Appliance they answered the call right away and gave me a quote that same day of $120. He came to the house and repaired the dryer the next day with no problems. Very prompt and professional service. I will definitely use this company again.

He arrived promptly; got to work immediately taking care not to make a mess of his work area. He finished the job in less than 15 minutes and explained to me what he had done and what the warranty was on the replacement part,

Angie's list inquiry was not responded to but my call to inquire was returned. Overall I found Jeff very competent and friendly, but communicating with him was not the easiest. Part of it is was probably due to him getting sick around that period, but I eventually learned that texting is the easiest way to communicate with him and that worked well. ,

The guy didn't come out and I didn't use him; but he troubleshoot over the phone. He was the only guy who did that. If the things are small or not replaced, it is always an automatic charge comes out and he refused it. He told me to try something over the phone. He asked to re-plug the freezer back again because the freezer stopped working. He said sometimes it takes a little while to restart itself and then that's all was needed to be done. He saved me $50 from another guy who was going to charge for $50. He did take his time. He answered all my questions. He was very professional.

Everything went better than expected. He was good natured, humorous and we even ended up talking about baseball. I was very happy with the service call and results.

I called at 2pm and left a message. The call was promptly returned and the heating element was replaced by 5pm!

He was available right away to come to the house. He showed up when he said he would. Performed the repair in under an hour. Couldn't have gone better.

Called Mr. Wilson on Monday, 01/07/2013 and explained the problem with my dryer. He said he would check on the part and call back. The callback came within a few minutes along with a price and how long it would take to get the part (about 2 days). Well, Mr. Wilson called this morning and asked if I would be home because the part came in early! He was at my house within a half hour. Voila!!!! The dryer is fixed! Really liked Mr. Wilson. He is a no nonsense type of guy who knows what he is doing, gets to work and gets the job done. Thanks Mr. Wilson!

Jeff answered the phone himself when I called, even though he was out shopping with his family. It was nice that I didn't have to leave a voicemail and then wonder when he'd call back, especially since it was the day after Christmas and I was wondering if he was closed for the holidays. Overall, a very positive experience and an easy solution to our fridge problem.

I called Affordable Appliance Service about 12:30 p.m. on the Saturday (Dec. 22) before the Christmas holiday. Our washing machine was leaking water and needed prompt attention. When he called me back he was at our house in just a few minutes. He realized, after carefully assessing the problem, that we needed a new hose. He didn't have one with him, but he called and found one and was back in 30 minutes to fix the machine. We were up and running in no time. Jeff was the consummate professional in every way. We are so grateful for his great service and for coming to fix our washing machine the Saturday afternoon before the holiday. If we ever need any small appliance repair in the future, we will call him because we know we can trust him to carefully assess the problem and will promptly and professionally take care of it at a reasonable rate.

Called Jeff on Monday he came out on Tuesday. He had the parts with him and was able to fix out ice maker that day. I will call him again if needed and I will recommend him to others.

Great experience! He came out and assessed the problem on our dryer that even the Sears repair technician couldn't figure out. We will definitely use this company again!

I use my washer and dryer daily up to 3 loads per day. My first washer lasted 3 years, next 3 years, and this one 5.5 years, all together I have purchased 3 washers and dryers in less than 12 years. Everytime I called for a service repair to end up paying for over 125.00 in quotes and the repair overweight the cost of purchasing a new one. So evetually I would purchase a new one. Had they told me the problem over the phone and a history of the problem that exsist with that type of make and model they could have save us headaches and money. Jeff gave me an inside view of he problem, cost, and receommended a type and make that may work for my family, without the cost of a quote OVER THE PHONE! Thank you Jeff!

Arrived on time, identified the problem quickly and completed the repair at what I consider a very reasonable price. He was professional and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.

I e-mailed Jeff while we were away over Thanksgiving, and he responded while we were still away asking us to contact him when we got back in town to schedule. We got back the Thursday after Thanksgiving, and I called him that afternoon to set up something the following week. He said he'd contact us on Monday. I did notice from other reviews that some folks had trouble with getting return contact from him, and it did happen to us as my wife had to call him back late Monday and then again on Tuesday when he didn't get back to us. I do get that good service providers are busy, but they should also try to get back to customers when they promised even just to tell them, hey I told you I'll contact you and I'll need to push you back a day or two here. I like to know that I'm still on the radar rather than someone thinking, oh well, they'll call me back if they really want this done. That said, on Tuesday afternoon, he told us he was planning on being here first thing Wednesday morning, and by George, he was, even a bit early. He took a look at the dishwasher and got to the root of the problem very quickly, a bad control board (second dishwasher board I've had fail in the past 5 years). He was able to locate a replacement board shortly and quoted us the cost for the whole deal. It was at the top end of the range I'd wanted to pay to repair vs replace the washer, so I hope the thing holds out now for 10 years so we don't have to regret the decision. He had another job to complete that morning, but said he'd be back early afternoon with the part to finish our job, and that he did. By the time I got home from work that afternoon, the dishwasher was running without a hitch. After the fact, I found that I could have bought and replaced the control board for about half that, and being a computer engineer, I don't think that would have been too hard to repair. The thing is, what you're paying the premium for is the knowledge and expertise. I always try to see if I can understand problems and fix things myself before going for help, but I actually didn't think it was the control board, and I couldn't find any info on the Net about my specific problem and really didn't know where to go next. That's why you call up and pay an expert. Where you get into trouble is if the "expert" doesn't know sh from Shinola, and we've had that in the past several times over. That's why we're on here, and from this job, we're glad and think Jeff definitely qualifies as an expert. No nonsense, knows his stuff, got the job done, and the best part is that he listened to us about the problem and treated us well. Some of our past experiences were people who talked down to us and said we don't know what we're talking about or who babbled on about everything else that they know is wrong with our appliances or plumbing or roof or heat pump and try to push some kind of service pitch on us. It was refreshing not having to deal with that for once. We'd whole-heartedly recommend contacting Affordable Appliance for anyone in need of appliance installation or repair.

I called him after seeing him listed on Angie's List. He researched the problem, ordered the part and set up a repair date. He was right on time, did a thorough job and was extremely professional.I would not hesitate to use him again and will recommend him to my friends.

Jeff responded quickly and made a visit to access the problems and give an estimate. We approved the parts needed and the control panel had to be ordered. All parts were successfully installed and both washer and dryer now function properly. During both visits and on the phone, Jeff was knowledgable, courteous, and professional. We had used Jeff once in the past for a dryer repair and would definitely call him again, and refer him to others.
