AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE

My oven's hinges broke and the exterior glass panel shattered the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Expecting a house full of guests, I called Jeff in a panic. He arrived the next day to assess the damage. Since there was no time to order new hinges, he found hinges locally the next day. Before catching his own flight out on that Wednesday, he came over and replaced the hinges. The new glass had not come in yet, but Jeff said it wouldn't affect my use of the oven since there's an interior glass panel. Jeff saved my Thanksgiving and I am extremely grateful!

Left a voice mail and he called back after about an hour. Asked about problem and model number. Came out same day, replaced heater and the dryer now works again. I had already checked the breaker, the exhaust and the lint filter for issues, but airflow was fine, so we knew it was probably the heater element, so he brought one with him.

I called Jeff first thing on Wednesday morning and explained that the waterline to our icemake had cracked at the coupling. He told me that the first appointment he would have was on Monday but when he found out that I was in Oviedo he said he was near by and could squeeze us in that day at about lunch time. By 10:45 he was at the house and had the repair done super fast. We were very impressed with Jeff's willingness to work us in to his busy schedule and will gladly call on him again if, and when, we have a need for an appliance repair.

Fixed both in an hour and checked everything to ensure it worked. Was here within 30 minutes of my call. If I ever need more work I'm calling him.

My Kenmore dryer had begun continuing to spin when the door was opened during the drying cycle. A few weeks after that, it started drying, there was a loud noise, and it stopped altogether. I searched Angie's List and found Jeff Wilson, Affordable Appliance Service, called him, explained situation and he said he would be at my house in about an hour. Jeff arrived as promised, diagnosed the problem as a faulty latch that didn't stop the spinning and a broken belt so dryer didn't spin at all. He had the latch, but had to run to Forsyth Rd. to pick up a belt. He called ahead to be sure they had one. Upon return, Jeff quickly repaired the belt and even replaced the light with a bulb I had on hand. It was a pleasure working with such a smart and efficient repairperson. I would definitely call him again for another appliance repair.

He was wonderful! He responded within hours and my dryer was serviced within 18 hours. He was kind and efficient and very fair with his price. I would defintly use him again!

Jeff took the make and model of my microwave over the phone so he was prepared when he arrived at my home. He was able to identify the problem quickly and made the necessary repairs.

This guy is definitely A+. I called him a few days ago regarding the repair and he needed a bit more information. Once I was able to provide him the exact model unit and a description of the problem he knew almost exactly what it was. We communicated via phone and text. He was pretty responsive in his communication and once we had the right information and the parts he was out here the next day to repair the unit. The repair went smoothly and price was exceptionally reasonable. I won't hesitate to use him again should the need arise and I will always recommend him to anyone who needs repair.

I called and left a message on a Saturday morning and 10 minutes later Jeff called me back. I told him the issue and he diagnosed it on over the phone and said he would check if he could get the part that day. He called me back and was able to get the part. He came that Saturday afternoon and took 30-45 minutes to replaced the broken part. I can finish washing my clothes this weekend. Thank you, Jeff!

Called this repairman based on outstanding reports. First called approx 2 months ago with no return phone call. Called again within the last 2 weeks with no return call again. Left very specific message and phone numbers for return call

I originally called to obtain a price quote and was told that he did not service this area, but he inquired about the problem and gave me some input on something to try to fix the issue. Was very helpful and asked me to call back if this didn't work. It did not work and I called back, he did some troubleshooting over the phone with me and then offered to come out to repair. He was extremely helpful and more than willing to assist. Was punctual in performing the work and extremely helpful in assessing the overall function of the ice maker. He adjusted the water flow and replaced th control board. Cleaned all the parts as he went and was extremely friendly. I was really impressed at the level of helpfulness in trying to help me to fix the problem myself. I would recommend!

The first thing that surprised me was Jeff suggested I check the circuit breaker to ensure that wasn't the problem before he came out. Most providers wouldn't suggest this as they want to make money on a service call. It wasn't the breaker so we scheduled the appointment. He was on time and in the end, the repair cost much less than he initially anticipated. He thought it might be the circuit board that needed replacing but it turned out to be the wiring coming into the stove itself. A less honest provider would have replaced the circuit board never telling me that it was something less costly. I highly recommend Jeff and will definitely use him again.

Jeff picked up the phone when I called. I didn't have the model number with me, so he asked if I could call him back once I got home from work. Before I could call him back with the model number, he had called me to let me know he was available and if we were home, would swing by and take a look at the machine. Great service and I would definitely use again, although I personally think $85 for 15 minutes work of work is a bit steep.

Jeff showed up fairly quickly to try and diagnose the problem I was having with my refrigerator. An unmarked pick up truck pulled into my drive and I answered the door to an equally unmarked man with a tool box. He introduced himself but produced no business card nor did he mention the company's name. He then set about working on the refrigerator. I was told that for $300 he could repair it. It's getting oId so I asked him what he would do if it was his. He gave me some good advice and I told him I'd call if I decided to just repair it. I paid him for the service call and he left. Later that evening when I went to get my daughter a bowl of ice cream I noticed that the ice cream was extremely soft. I checked the controls and that's when I realized that Jeff hadn't turned both the refrigerator and freezer back on after he was done with his work. Thankfully I was able to turn both back on and not lose hundreds of dollars worth of food. Overall I found the experience a bit lacking.

Jeff arrived exactly at the time he said he would, and proceeded to troubleshoot and repair. i was up and running again in 15 minutes. I could have gotten the board much cheaper (online) if i had bought it myself but its a fridge. I couldnt really afford to wait on delivery etc. Great job and many thanks. Will definitely call him again when in need.

I was having problems with my dryer. It was making a loud noise and was not heating. I called someone else to replace the heater, which I thought would solve the problem, but even though it was heating, clothes were still not drying. I decided to get a second opinion and upon searching through the site, I saw the great reviews for Affordable Appliances, and decided to give them a call. Jeff, the owner answered and told him the problem. He did recommend me to have someone come out to clean my vent out and was even kind enough to recommend me to a company that he knew. I am grateful because upon calling them the guy was very pleasant and was able to set me up to come out today, Saturday with just a couple days notice. Even after cleaning out the vent which they did an awesome job, Tyler, the guy who the services told me that the airewas still not circulating in the dryer and I would have to call back the appliance repair people to have them take a look at the blower/fan. As soon as they left I called Affordable Appliance back, and left a voicemail. Jeff called me right back and told me he could come out to take a look. He came within 30 mins and turns out there was a lump of lint stuck inside, causing blokeage. I did not have to pay for another part nor replace anything else. He took it apart, took the lint out, turned it on, and my dryer is now back to normal and the noise is gone. Jeff was awesome, professional and really helped me and saved me from spending unecessary money. I recommend this company and will definately be using him again if need be, and will refer him to anyone I know that may need appliance repair.

Jeff was prompt, professional and friendly! I called this morning at 8:00 AM and explained what I thought the problem was with the door. He came within an hour with the correct replacement parts and by 9:00 AM our dishwasher was fixed. I will call Jeff for all of our applliance repairs. He said we could call anytime with any questions or concerns. Great service!!!

Called and left two messages for a non cooling Sub Zero freezer repair. Never returned either phone call.

If I have another job in the future, I'll call him just because he still offered assistance without expecting anything in return!

He was always quick to get here and the repair never took long at all. Very reasonable prices. Kept the old appliances going! +++++++++++ I am guessing on the date of the last repair. Don't recall and cannot find receipt right now. Have already recommended him to others in the area.

Jeff returned my first call within an hour or two. He talked with me about the issue I had with my dryer. Called me back after he researched the part and gave me a price for the work. We scheduled him to come out after the part arrived. On the day of service, he called to say he was about 20-25 minutes away (just as we had agreed he would do). Jeff arrived on time. He was polite and got right to work. The job took less than an hour. I would recommend this company.

Excellent, prompt service -- very professional. I described the problem to Jeff over the phone and he ordered the required part. Said it would be delivered in 3 days but it arrived in 2 so he came out a day earlier than scheduled. Quick diagnostic and fair price - the fridge runs like a dream now. Highly recommend.
