I tried calling them and spoke with someone. They asked me a couple of questions about the project. They said they would call me back later that afternoon. No one ever returned my call. I found this unprofessional and discourteous.

We were out of town during the remodel. I bought all tile before we left. Tony had the job almost completed upon our return. The job was completed never as agreed and was pretty sloppy upon close inspection. We are unhappy with the results.

First, this was a project that my wife headed up. Tony did a great job of explaining everything to my her and making her feel very comfortable about all aspects of the project. His crew is hands down to the cleanest group of contractors we had at our home ( from roof, A/C, plasters etc..). They showed up everyday when he said they would and cleaned up everyday. Not only the inside but the outside also. We wanted to use our electrician (who couldn't make it) then we used an outside company. Tony inspected their work was unhappy and brought in his guy in the blink of an eye. The only down side for us was the plumbing contractor (name withheld on purpose) Tony used. The plumbing contractor was a ego driven mouthy, unprofessional and spoke to my wife like she was not worth his time. When Tony and I discussed this and I explained how unhappy I was he adjusted his contractor attitude and became the buffer between the plumber and I. then brought in a different plumber to finish up and it was nice to deal with a professional. Tony and his crew did a good job for us. Most important he explained everything to my wife as we went along and made her very comfortable as to what was going on. He was prompt professional, courteous and very clean as he worked.

We can not say enough about Southern Comfort, Tony DeJulio. After interviewing over a half dozen contractors we met with Tony and were very impressed. He was knowledgeable and professional. He was very prompt in getting back to us with a quote, unlike a lot of other contractors. Having been involved in many remodels during our life, we knew his pricing was very reasonable. There were no 'hidden surprises" in the pricing. Each change to the contract was discussed and agreed upon (we made all the changes by constantly adding new things too). Tony was always accommodating to our requests and schedules. Tony and his team were always on time, professional, courteous and respectful of our home. They take pride in their work and it shows. The finished product is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We fully intend to use Southern Comfort next year with the next remodel project. In todays world where finding quality, trustworthy businesses is near impossible, Southern Comfort is rare find.

I would rather go to Home Depot and have them recommend a contractor that would actually show up after accepting work.

Great communication and up-front about any problems. The quality of the workmanship was very good. When the project was complete we had a couple of roof leaks which required a roofer to trace down. Tony supplied the roofer (DDRoofing) who stuck with the project until all the leaks were repaired. This was more difficult than it sounds. One of the leaks was very difficult to isolate and required multiple attempts over a couple of months to finally get fixed. Tony took care of all the added expenses and then had our ruined ceiling tiles replaced. Great job.

Tony showed up on time and was able to provide a clear estimate. The job was started on schedule and Tony and his crew were very professional and worked in an efficient manner. The job was done on time and within the estimated price. I would use Tony and his Southern Comfort crew in the future.

We were disappointed that after giving us an estimate and thinking we like him he never returned our call, he said he would call us at the end of June to set a date, as he was too busy to do the work sooner. Never called after we called him twice.

Just a quick note of recognition for "A JOB WELL DONE" by Tony and his very capable crew at Southern Comfort Constr. This is the second time we have utilized the varied services of Southern Comfort Constr. Company and we remain completely satisfied customers. The recent work involved the painting of our Master Bathroom, Outside Doors, and the Pool Deck all of which was completed in a professional, timely and reasonably priced manner. From day one till the completion of the job Tony and his skilled and courteous crew showed up exactly when they said they would. The work was preformed in a very skilled and professional manner. Communication between Tony and us was exemplary. I would highly recommend Southern Comfort for any construction project you may have.

I needed to replace the carpet in my family room and wanted to move to a wood or tile floor. I reached out and got Tony. He worked with me to help me make the best decision. Scheduling was about par with other contractors I've worked with in the past. You hire for skill and not for the administration. The work was amazing and on time. I bought an older home do I've had a number of folks come through over the year. Tony's team worked fast, CLEAN, and on time. Tony is my go to guy for everything going forward.

We did appreciate the professionalism of Tony de Julio the owner of Southen Comfort Constructionand, of his team (two men) working with him and each day they cleaned our place as much as they could before leaving. Tony gave us advices but also listen to our in-puts!!! All in all the experience was pretty much painless and very well done! We know where to go if we need some more work done in our unit.

The job was performed in an excellent manner. It required both inside and outside work and the attention to detail was exceptional. Tony and his crew were prompt, efficient, neat and professional. They continually cleaned as they worked and ensured that we were happy every step of the way. I would highly recommend Southern Comfort for any large or small job.

They just got done last week. They got things done and Tony is a nice guy. Overall they did a great job.

Tony did a great job. I was not able to be here when the job was done and I was very happy to return and everything was just what I wanted. All my furniture had to be moved and nothing was damaged. He took very good care of everything. He would contact me whenever he had a question. The communication was great!! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!

I called the guy from Southern Comfort Construction and he called me back and set an appointment. I stayed at home for the appointment but he didn’t show up. I didn’t bother calling him back because he knows he called me and he has my phone number.

He wasn't too professional giving me the quote. He gave me the quote but he didn't give me the breakdown of the job or anything like that, you know? He looked at the whole property, but he didn't give me a breakdown saying, you know - the roof will cost that much, the plumbing will cost that much, he just gave me the straight cost, saying "This is the total job cost". He wasn't calling me back for the quote either, I had to call him several times to get the quote.

See above. We have been completely satisfied with Southern Comfort Construction. I was particularly pleased with the metal roof he and his men constructed for my house. They also did excellent cabinet work in our garage. Anne Tait/Eileen Pazos

It did seem to take longer than we wanted but the end result is great.

He was very reasonable, professional and punctual. He did exactly what we asked him to do. The finished product looks really good.

He contacted us within 2 days after we requested the estimate. They did very good work. There were some concerns after the first day and we noted those concerns and had them come back. They fixed the problems; no issues. The price was good for the serviced provided. We are hoping to have them do some work in the future. It was $400 for the backsplash in the kitchen and we provided the materials. The first day he didn't show up and we ended up having to call him and he said he was still working on another project. That was the only big concern except for the few little details on the first day.

Tony met with us to give us an estimate on remodeling of our condo. He was on time for the appointment and had some good ideas. Unfortunately, due to issues on our part, we decided not to get the work done at this time. Since he did keep his part by meeting with us we wanted to at least give him a rating on his professionalism.

Tony came by a home we had just purchased for an estimate. We asked numerous questions and had many things we would like estimates for. He was extremely professional, prompt and courteous. We have not decided to do the work as of yet due to the estimates being higher than expected but Tony was excellent! I would recommend him due to his professionalism alone.
