+ -1 moreWhen I noticed the damaged soffit, I called five roofers for quotes. The first failed to return my call, the second declined due to the pitch of the roof. The third gave me a bid for a total new roof. The fourth and fifth told me I had five more years on the roof and could get away with a fix for now. When I called, the first of the two said they would email me a contract that night before 5 p.m. I never heard from them again. The fifth was very friendly and professional. The job was done on time and the cost was as estimated. When my roof needs to be redone, I will be calling Roberson Roofing, Inc. As an elderly widow, finding a trustworthy company is key.

I have absolutely no idea what went on here with this company to not follow through on a potential customer when all that was asked for was to have someone look and write up an estimate. Turned out thankfully I did not need a new roof and in the future I will most probably use the second company who was honest, helpful and thorough in getting back to me. Maybe everyone else on Angies List had success with Roberson, my experience was just not good and I simply don’t want to be bothered chasing any company down just for an estimate, let alone if I needed work. NEXT!
Description of Work: We called to get an estimate for a home we recently purchased that had been flagged in the inspection report as to the condition and age of my roof and whether or not a new roof was needed. I called and spoke to someone and explained that we needed someone to take a look at the roof and see if we did indeed need a new one and to give us an estimate if we did. I was told someone would go the following Tues or Wed and it was not necessary for me to be there. I could expect a full report and/or estimate by that Friday. I called later Friday afternoon and asked if I would be receiving my estimate that day. She said the person who did it would send it first thing Monday. Needless to say I called again on Monday and asked again about not receiving anything and I asked her to check if indeed someone had actually gone out to my house to even look. She claimed yes they had and she would speak to whoever about getting me my report. I even double checked to make sure my e mail was correct and it was. I have to this day heard absolutely nothing from this company.

Performance throughout the project was outstanding, from estimating to installation and clean-up. Pricing for the job was very fair. Job scheduled quickly. Everything went off like clockwork, even city inspections. Crews showed up on time and worked fast but carefully. The property was not damaged despite all the inescapable falling debris. Part of the crew laid out tarps and cleaned up the debris each day. A frictionless experience. They just handled everything.

Estimate was done within a week and the work done the next day. All in all an excellent transaction. I will be calling this company in a few years when my roof needs replaced

+ -1 moreIt went well. Rick Roberson came out and inspected our roof. We feel he gave us a fair price, which included a much appreciated veteran's discount. We'd had two other roofing companies out to give us estimates and because of the way Rick presented himself and his company, we decided to hire his company. We'd also checked reviews of their previous work & a city official advised us that Roberson's was one of our area's best roofers. When we discovered we still had a leak above a bedroom window we called Roberson's immediately. Doug responded to inspect where the leak within about an hour & advised us the leak was due to a bad gutter that was originally installed on the house when it was built in '85. Problem solved. And, the crew who did the work was outstanding & hard-working men.

+ -1 more1. Roof work was completed on time and city inspector accepted work. Without going onto the roof, we believe the work was excellent. 2. Workers showed up on time. 3. Clean-up was not 100% since I did find some roof trash on the ground. 4. We were told company would pick up the final check, which they now want us to mail. 5. Roof work resulted in dirt coming through the exhaust fans. Workers did not cover the vents prior to starting the work, nor did they come inside to check for dirt. I believe they should have known this was a possibility. 6. They replaced a bathroom sun roof they broke, but did not clean up the glue and dirt that ended up inside the bathroom. Since we did not receive a detailed bill, I assume we were not charged for this. 7. Workers we talked to were very friendly. 8. We liked that they used 2 magnets to find and pick-up the stables on the ground. We only found one stable on the ground. 9. Final price was about $150 less than the estimate.

Description of Work: The shingles on my 1300 sq. ft. home were replaced. The job was done about 2 months ahead of the estimated start date. We were about 250 mi. away from home when I got a call from the owner asking if he could start the next day. We agreed and did not get home until the end of the first work day. My faith in the owner was rewarded with a trouble free beginning to the job. He proved to be very accessible by phone asking and answering questions as they came up. Their job estimate was not the lowest, but the company is well established and local, making it worth the cost. There was also a late add-on to the job which was negotiated for a fair price.
