LawnD - Fence Lawn And Shrub Treatment

I contacted a pest control guy and he recommended LawnD. I'm not happy with their services. LawnD really messed things up. I was disappointed with the weed control and the services took almost a year.

At first, the lawn looked great, after the first year, however, we began to have problems with the weeds either not being killed at all by the treatments or re-emerging a few weeks after the treatment. When I called one time just two weeks after a treatment to tell them that I couldn't tell any difference in the level of weeds in our lawn after the last treatment, they came back out and did another treatment AND LEFT ANOTHER BILL FOR THE SAME AMOUNT AS THE ORIGINAL FEE FOR THE SERVICE WE HAD JUST PAID FOR TWO WEEKS EARLIER! In addition, I noticed that there was a residue on our white vinyl fence that I initially thought was from a dog hiking its leg, until it realized that in places it was about waist high on me, which is too high for even a very large dog to hike, and that it was around the entire perimeter of our fence. The only thing it could be is spray from the yard treatment. We don't spray anything ourselves in our lawn or around our fence. It will not come off the fence no matter what cleaning solution I have used, and it looks disgusting. Needless to say, I discontinued the service.

Our lawn was not as thick as we would have liked it. We also had to protect from Florida-native pests as we had in the past. Lawn Defense's Representative showed up at our home and promised that they would service our lawn to our satisfaction. The first service was on 02/09/10 and the second on 04/22/10. In June of 2010 my husband and I started to observe that the sod was dead and brown over the majority of the front, back and side yard. We contacted the phone number for Lawn Defense on several occasions to have them respond. After we were able to make contact, several weeks later, the entire lawn was in complete devastation. Even when they found out the lawn was destroyed, while under their care, they didn't even respond out to show any interest or make an inspection. Cinch bugs were the culprit. I have receipts for over $1000 of sod replacement as well as related equipment to properly install said materials. Lawn Defense has the nerve to theaten sending me to collections over the final $48.00 bill. I have contacted them about my dissatisfaction and they basically tell me, "Oh well, you can't give us our product back. You owe us the money." Steer clear of this company. They have ineffective products and non-existent service standards.

The service started out good but, as the months passed it was obviously Lawn D-fence didn't want to defend my properties. I kept calling to say that cinch bugs were in my yard at the office and hospital. They would come out and tell me it was my irrigation. I'd have the irrigation expert come out and he said the irrigation was fine. This continued for 5 months until the lawns at the office and hospital were obliterated by disease. I had to spend more than $600 in new turf.
