KDK Concrete of Volusia Inc

We contracted this company to install concrete parking bollards and paid a deposit of $1,522. After many failed promises to install bollards Don Kluth promised to return our deposit on 1/3/20 but still has not kept his word as of today. He is not to be trusted and a 1 star rating is more than he deserves.

I paid for the new driveway and after an exhausting 6 months of excuses from Don Kluth, the owner, I had to pay someone to finish the job.

Took my money and never finished the job, I would never hire don Kluth in my life!! Search Kdk in the BBB, also has an F on there as well.

We hired Don Kluth of KDK Concrete to replace our stone driveway with a cement one in October 2012. He required that his 1/3 downpayment be made out directly to him rather than the business, took 7 weeks to complete a job that should have only taken 3-4 days, underestimated the job by 9 yards of concrete, threatened to walk off the job and put a lien on our house, double billed us and admitted the billing was wrong (after he was already paid) but refuses to discuss it or refund the extra $427 even though I have sent him proof of the double billing, incurred a fine with the city for calling for the final inspection before the job was complete and took over a month to finally pay it. He has an alert on him through the Better Business Bureau and when I sent him a link showing that there is also a red flag on his license with the city he threatened to sue me for defamation! If I had known then what I know now about this person I NEVER would have hired him and will NOT recommend him to anyone! The quality of the job turned out good but the stress he put us through and the double billing was awful.

Looks great and reasonable price.

Great- Was worried about the cost a little, but they were not the highest or the lowest- But I got along well with Don the owner, he answered all my questions about what was going to happen to get the drive torn out and put back. I asked and he explained about the concrete dos and don'ts too! Gave us a time frame and was timely and clean, which meant allot with kids! When they got done we were so happy that we ended up having a patio put in in back, so that is the best recommendation I can give , which I will say to all my family and friends.
