Description of Work: The company removed a window, tore down the section of the wall under the window. He removed the electrical outlet and relocated it in another position. He made a frame for the pre-hung door and installed it. He then installed the door and leveled it in the frame. He secured the door and installed the door knob and dead bolt. He returned the next morning and installed a storm door, primed the frame with a paint primer. The area outside and inside was cleaned up and hauled away. After I gave his work a final once over it appeared to me as if the door had been there all alone. It was a job well done, thanks.

Description of Work: I HAD BEEN SERIOUSLY RIPPED OFF BY HANDYMEN IN MY AREA WHO SHOWED LICENSE AND BONDED.......2 SCAMS I CONTACTED H C INITIALLY DUE TO THEIR ADS OF LICENSE, INSURED, BONDED. I KNEW THEIR PRICES WERE TOO MUCH, BUT NEEDING THE WORK DONE AND THE ADDED ASPECT OF GUARRANTED FOR A YEAR. I CALLED THEM FOR SEVERAL PROJECTS. I KNOW MANY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT REPAIRS OR THE COSTS........ ESPECIALLY WOMEN IN MY SITUATION. THE FINAL ASPECT OF A ROOFING REPAIR WAS EGREGIOUS. REPAIR WAS DONE ... MAJOR LEAKS OCCURED. THEY RETURNED TO REDO THE SAME AREAS. WAS TOLD AND PUT IN WRITING IF OCCURS AGAIN MAY...MAY HAVE TO CALL A ROOFER........ MASSIVE LEAK OCCURED........... H C WAS CALLED AGAIN.......DIFFERENT PERSON CAME...TOLD ME THE REPAIRS THAT WERE MADE WAS DONE WITH WRONG MATERIALS... USE OF MATERIALS TWICE WAS USELESS..... IN CONTACTING H C CONCERNING THE SITUATION AND RELAYED WHAT THE 3RD PERSON TOLD ME.... SEVERAL ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO DODGE THE ISSUE.OR BLAME ME... THE REPAIRS HAD BEEN DONE BY THEM AND WAS DOCUMENTED. I ASK THEM TO CORRECT THE SITUATION BECAUSE THEY WERE WRONG IN HAVING THE REPAIRS DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THEN REPEATED IF THE INDIVIDUAL SENT WAS NOT QUALIFIED. ACCORDING TO THE 3RD PERSON FROM H C THE REPAIRS MADE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE AND THEN TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THEY WERE REPEATED. THE WOMAN WITH WHOM I SPOKE AT LENGTH SAID SHE WOULD GET BACK TO ME AFTER TALKING WITH HER HUSBAND. I WAITED SEVERAL DAYS... NOTHING... MAJOR RAINS OCCURED. CONTACTED A ROOFING COMPANY WITH CREDENTIALS... PAID APPROX. $500 FOR JUST ROOFING REPAIRS.... ANOTHER $300 TO REPAIR INSIDE DAMAGE. SERIOUS LACK OF INTEGRITY WITH H C. OTHER REPAIRS 3 INDIVIDUALS KEPT MATERIALS LEFT OVER. MY FAULT FOR NOT REPORTING. EXPECT TO PAY A FORTUNE FOR THEIR WORK WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE BASED ON SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE OF AREA OF REPAIR. WARNING!
