Description of Work: Talked with Tony on the phone and after a lengthly discussion I decided to replace the problem washer with a new unit. The washer was 16 years old and the expense of the repair, which Tony was familiar with, would have been at least 1/2 the cost of a new washer. I was impressed with the honesty and integrity of the technician and will use their services in the future.

Description of Work: I had Tony (Halifax) call on two occasions. Once in 2013 because my fridge would not cool properly. He cleared the blocked vent and importantly, explained what he was doing so I would know what to do if it happened again. |Next time in 2014, again my fridge ice maker was broken, he replaced parts - he had them in his van so I didn't have to wait. |I will absolutely use him again and would recommend him to anyone. He was recommended to me by my neighbor and they are very fussy customers.

Description of Work: Because my refrigerator was a Samsung, I was told that parts are hard to get and expensive. It would've cost $500 to replace the electrical panel for the front of the refrigerator. He advised me to just buy a new refrigerator, which I did. The charge was only for the service call.

Description of Work: I had a refrigerator that only the freezer was cold. They recommended the least expensive option first. If the more expensive repair was necessary, they offered to apply a full credit. I received a cost estimate for both options in advance. The lower cost alternative was all that was necessary.

Description of Work: Tony came out the same day that I called.to fix the washing machine.The washing machine was fine. It was the electrical outlet that was the problem. He plunged it in elsewhere and only charged me for a service call.

Description of Work: Clothes dryer stopped working. Halifax came out and checked the electronics on the dryer. Then let me know how much the parts to fix would be and also recommended that I consider a new dryer instead of fixing old one. He also cleaned the dryer vent.
