Over the years we have had more mowing services than I care to remember. So far, Michael is as accommodating to our requirements as any service we have had. We have about a half acre lot that is filled with obstructions. The back yard is gated and has a pool deck, with bird cage and curb it edging. It has to be hand mowed. I have had services try everything from small riding mowers to just weed whacking most of the yard. Michael just does it right and hand mows it. He could get away with a riding mower in front but he hand mows it as well. The lawn has NEVER looked better. We even got a compliment from our next door neighbor who is retired and picky enough to insist on doing his own lawn. He said the same thing we did. The lawn has never looked better. Micheal is a one man show and though deliberate in getting the work done, he doesn't rush through it. From what we can tell by the cut of the grass being flat and even on some what rolling terrain he keeps his equipment up real well and mower blades sharp. The grass looks cut and not torn. And most importantly Michael cleans up real well. It's the finishing touches, edging and blowing that make all the difference between a good job and a wow that looks really nice. I always do a quick walk around the Ponderosa after the mower is done. I usually take the battery blower to blow out the cuttings they blow into the garage through the vents on the sides, blow out the vestibule to the front door, and what they left behind on the walkways and the driveway and gutter. My excuse is that this also gives me a chance to do a regular quick inspection of the property and house, for wasp nests, loose nails in the fence, and the like. Well, Michael has figured out a way to not blow debris into the garage, and the walkways and driveway are cleaner than they have ever been left before. So now I guess l just have to do my little inspection. Michael definitely takes some pride in his work and it shows. Michael was a bit more expensive than some of the other quotes I had gotten this time, but so far he has been well worth the extra few bucks. In fact, after three months if he keeps doing our lawn like he has I intend to give him a small raise to make sure he wants to keep doing it. UPDATE: Well Mike has been doing our lawn for going on 3 months now and he has not disappointed. The lawn looks GREAT and has never looked better. He shows up when he's supposed to and he does the same consistent job he has done each week since the first. And I rate that job as excellent. The man takes some pride in what he does. But the real reason I wrote this update was because now he has done what you could only wish to get from your lawn mower guy. He knocked on the door before leaving last week and told me he thought we might have sod webworms attacking the lawn and we should probably call the pest and fertilizer guys and ask them to take a look. I did, they came over and he nailed it. They thanked me for bringing it to their attention before next months scheduled visit and they're now treating the lawn. Damage minimal thanks to Mike.

I had a lawn that was overgrown and had not been cut in approx 3 months!! He came in and took care of everything.It was the best lawn service I have dealt with to date. He was very responsive, professional, and I found that the price was extremely reasonable for the amount for work that he did. Amazing job! thank you!! :)

We started using Michael several years ago after our previous lawn company hired Cole Trickle, the mower driver, to take care of our yard. My husband had sprayed all of our sprinkler heads fluorescent orange and put survey stakes with orange glow-in-the-dark tape next to our sprinklers thinking that would help, but that still didn't deter ol' Cole Trickle. At that point, I had had enough of him as we were always having to go to Lowe's to get sprinkler heads and replace them ourselves. Yes I was out there digging and switching zones right along with my husband. Although that company was very affordable, it got to the point it just wasn't worth it and that is when we luckily found Michael. I consider him a blessing. For a little bit more money for his services, and I mean a little bit, he trims our hedges in the front of the house when needed throughout the year. Also I must mention that we have not lost a sprinkler head in the last year, thankfully as those little suckers keep getting more expensive. I hope I didn't just jinx us. Anyway, I would recommend Michael to anyone who wants the same person week after week to be around your house and take care of your yard. Since he is a one man show, I don't worry about strange new employees who are fly-by-night doing a lousy job with our yard trying to make it to 10 other yards in a day. Michael is very trustworthy and even leaves you a stamped self-addressed envelope so you don't have to do anything except put your check in the mail. It is the little things that matter and this is such a nice convenience. He also takes care of my mother's yard and has on occasion fixed her fence gate after a storm and has let me know when things have needed to be repaired. I love the fact that I can trust someone to look after her and her home. That means more to me than anything. Anyway, I would definitely recommend Clips Lawn Care to anyone who wants someone very kind and trustworthy to take care of their yard.
