+ -1 moreMy lawn never looked worse than when Choice Landscaping managed it. It developed large grooves and dips and never looked neat or well groomed. The workman did not seem to care at all about how they left our property. Getting them to trim the bushes and beds required several calls. They did respond to the calls but the work did not improve. On top of that they were the most expensive service I have used since I moved to this house in 1987.
Description of Work: Cut the lawn, trim bushes, trees and beds.

+ -1 moreI had a local tree cutter come in and clear out 7 pine trees from a wild area full of Brazilian Pepper and vines, needless to say he left it an utter mess. I called and spoke to Amanda at Choice, she was very nice and told me John, her husband, would be by to take a look at it. He was out the next morning with one of his crew leaders, they gave me a fair quote and told me it would be done Wednesday. His crew was outside with about six guys working right at 8:00 am. They cleared everything out and made it look great. I had concerns about privacy, so John came back out and we discussed it. He recommended planting some 6-8' tall wax myrtle bushes which are native to Florida since I wanted to keep the area native as possible. Within a week I had 6 beautiful full bushes and our coverage between the neighbors house and the road was back. I did have one part of a bush die after about 2 months due to shock or something, so John came back out, pruned it, and because it was so much is replacing it with another bush. John, Amanda, and their crew are professional, prompt, and courteous. They are absolutely the best in this area and I am very glad I hired them! 100% Customer Satisfaction is their goal!

+ -1 more2 wks after we did not hear from them and they were called. We were told they were busy but working on estimates etc that week and would get back to us. It's now been 1 MONTH- we called- they had totally forgotten about us and would get back to us. UPDATE- did hear from them that evening w emailed estimate. Their price was fair. Unfortunately, no one even apologized for the mishap. If they had we probably would have considered them. Will not use them ever! I can't believe that this company with good reviews would not even call back after a week or 2 to follow up that they were busy but working on things. Very unprofessional and unacceptable.

Description of Work: We had used Choice in the past and was very happy with them. When we called them back to do some trimming, the men came to do the job but were not supervised. They cleared away too much overgrowth and may have even gone onto my neighbor's property. This area was a buffer between properties. My neighbor was upset with the clearing of the property, so I asked for some quick growing plants to fill in the area, even though this was not my mistake, I wanted to make it right. He brings me 3 oak trees to plant in a small area. After they were planted, I asked if the 3 trees were a little too much for such a small area. They are slow growing and grow to be large trees. I was yelled at saying that I should know what a southern oak looked like. This is his area of experience not mine. He had also tried to sell me wax myrtle after selling me the oaks and I got annoyed and we had a big fight. I was paying to fix his mistake. He was blaming my husband saying that he told him to clear this area. My husband said that he did not. My husband was very sick at the time and was battling cancer. We had a lot on our plate and we did not watch Choice as closely as we should have. I paid an extra $200 for the oak trees that were suppose to fix the problem of the over clearing. He knew this was not what I asked for because he sold me trees that were not quick growing. During our fight, he was very unprofessional and rude. If my husband wasn't so sick, I would have brought him to court with my written estimate showing his mistake. I would not use him again and would not recommend him.
