+ -1 moreI spoke with Tom and he listened to the symptoms and the history of the unit and gave me a rough idea of how expensive the repair would be. We discussed whether or not it was worth putting that kind of money into a 17 year old unit and I eventually decided to replace the refrigerator. Tom made no money on this call but never made me feel rushed. He was obviously knowledgeable about this brand, its problems, and life expectancy and was more than happy to offer advice. I have filed away his name for when I have an appliance that's worth fixing.
Description of Work: I called to get help to decide if my old Sub Zero refrigerator was worth fixing. I had a good guess about what was causing the symptoms I was having, since I had experienced the same problem 13 years ago, when it was under warrantee.
