I spoke to Mo this morning, and he was very professional. Showed up when promised, explained what he would be doing, and when finished explained to me how to properly care for the springs and my garage door in general. Garage was left clean and all old parts were removed. Opened and closed door numerous time to insure proper tension on springs and that everything was working properly. I will definitively use this company again should the need arise, and will recommend to friends in need of this type of work. It's nice to deal with a family owned business that takes pride in their work. Great job.

My springs weren't broken, but our house is 12 years old and several neighbors have had springs break. Some had the estimate significantly increased after the repairperson arrived. This tech arrived on time, was pleasant and confirmed the quoted price before starting work. He was an efficient workman, replaced the springs in a minimal amount of time. After the springs were replaced, he inspected the system, gave me some maintenance tips and told me nothing more needed to be done at this time, but what to watch for in the future. Price was exactly as quoted, and was better than most of the quotes I had received.

My garage door spring was broken. Mo, the tech, came out (arrived a little late. I think he got lost.) and recommended replacing the springs, wheels and bearings. While I believe this was an appropriate recommendation, Mo told me about a "package deal" his company offered for this type of service. He didn't have any written information about the recommended routine maintenance plan and I am fairly sure he pulled the price out of the air. I would have liked to get other quotes, but with the door being unusable, I didn't have time. In the end, Mo worked off company time (I paid him directly) to rig up my door so I didn't have too buy a new panel. I'm pleased with the work, but I'm still left with an uneasy feeling about the ethics of the money side.

Last month United replaced the springs with larger ones after one spring broke....so I thought maybe the larger springs taxed the motor. I contacted another garage repair company on the list to inquire about the problem and get pricing, prior to contacting United. United's price was higher, we discussed and they came out and replaced the gear and rollers/wheels. FYI - the gear looks like some sort of resin or teflon - not metal, all the teeth were worn - problem solved.

It went extremely well - no real problems at all. They were professional, thorough, and friendly. Overall, a great family-run business. Also, they were running a promotion and were the least expensive option around. I would definitely use them again and/or refer them to family and friends.

Mo the tech assessed the situation and fixed it in less than 30 minutes.

I like that they explained to me how I should spray WD 40 on the spring, so it would stay newer. They also helped me with my garage door opener. They were very friendly and professional. I would definitely call them if I needed them again.

He was very courteous explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix the problem. He replaced the springs and pulleys. He did an excellent repair job. I have not had any problems since.
