I am satisfied with their services. The technician is very nice. I can him any time I have a problem.

The local people that I dealt with were unbelievably unprofessional. It seems that once I paid my money they didn't care if I was satisfied with their service or not. One of the first times they were here they left my back gate that is always kept closed open and my old deaf cat got out and I spent the next two wks looking for him. He finally came back very sick with a huge abscess on his back, skin and bones. That cost me a lot of money and while I was nice and told them I didn't "blame" them I needed to know what day they were going to come out so I could close him in and they wouldn't have to worry about it. I kept calling them to find out when would be the next time. They would tell me the service guy would get back with me. It took him forever and by then I was pretty disgusted with the whole thing and told him that because of my cat almost dying--that made him chuckle--I was going to cancel my service--that also made him laugh. I did finally get thru to the office to cancel and asked for the money back for the service that hadn't been provided yet. The Ocala woman rather than apologizing for any type of poor service gave me a very hard time. I had to call the Orlando office to report them to get my partial refund and have them quit coming--the Ocala woman told me they were going to "keep coming to finish out the contract". Even tho I had told her to stop.Since then--2 yrs ago-- they had kept calling and asking to speak with my son--who had originally spoken with them about starting their service. They called my home all last spring and started again this spring. I finally had to call Orlando and report them again for harassment. I had asked them over and over to please take me off of their calling list. It was beyond unprofessionalism how the local woman enjoyed hearing my frustration when I would ask her AGAIN to please not call my home.I do believe this is the worst service-type experience I've ever had. My adult son had finally decided to try them after yrs of them courting us and our neighbors. He did it as a favor to me and feels terrible about how it turned out.

They are fine. We haven't found a lawn service that you don't have to check up on. You have to actively call them, but when you do call they do come out.

Billing was incorrect. Tried to call them. Was placed on hold for a long tiome and decided to leave a message for someone to call me back. Never received any call back.This is the second time that I have tried the service and cancelled both times due to very poor customer service

Purchased a year's contract online for fertilizer and weed control. Results are progressively better. Seems I had too many different types of weeds in the yard from lack of care that I could not handle myself.

We switched to them because we weren't pleased with another provider. We have been pleased. So much is put on these companies to never let anything bad happen to your lawn, ever. They do a pretty good job. They are very responsive. They do manage the yard without our involvement at all. I'm happy with the price.

They are always on time and the yard looks good.

They do what they say they are going to do, we are very pleased with them. They are very accountable and they take any issues you may have with them.

I have had Scott's for a number of years. I wouldn't recommend them. I am in the process of moving or else I would have switched. Six or seven months ago I called the manager of the office and told him I was very unhappy with the service. I ask him to come by and do an evaluation of the yard and see what could be done. He indicated that he would. As far as I know he has never shown up.

They are fine. There are no challenges. They are a little more expensive than my previous company. My lawn service is OK.

The service is fine. They show up regularly and do a good job. That is all I expect.

It has been fine. I have no complaints. The main thing that stands out is that their people are very knowledgeable in the job.

The price seemed average but they let our lawn go. I don?t know if they?ve changed hands or gotten better since we?ve used them.

I did have a yearly contract with them in the last year. I had prepaid the service charges in advance. I would advise people not to use them because they tend to apply a standard application of chemicals regardless of what the actual needs of the lawn might be. It was a generic approach that they used and I used their services for two years. I didn?t see any improvement too. I will not use their services again. Such a service was needed since not all of us are experts in lawn care, but we want somebody to look at our lawn and deal with it as a unique challenge. They did call me up once to provide some type of special application and I did ask the gentleman who called me if he had seen my lawn. He said that he hadn?t seen my lawn and told me that one of the service technicians had seen. So I told him that I wouldn?t do anything until he came out and looked at my lawn, but he said that he didn?t have the time to have a look at my lawn. He told me that he just had the time to make phone calls and see if people needed such a service which didn?t make sense to me.

Expected service would provide noticeable improvement over DIY treatments. Stayed with service over 1 year to allow time for treatments to work. Compared lawn to next door neighbors lawn with no special treatment -- our lawn looks no better. Expected better since service cost 10x DIY cost.

I terminated my services. After multiple calls over a 2+ year period of time my lawn continues to be in very bad shape. I have close to an acre in property and the techinician finishes it in 7 minutes flat. I know this as I have watched and timed him "quick spray" the yard on several occasions.

I signed up for service with the company for one year from January 2008-December 2008. I moved out of state and called them in November to make sure the service was cancelled fro 2009. Low and behold I received two bills in February that I had been billed for services. They didn't even mail the bills to the proper forwarding address. When I called the Manager Bill, he was very rude and would not take the charges off even though I no longer live at the property. He essentially called me a liar and said we could split the bills and that is the best he could do, he was very rude. Next I spoke with the GM Rick Block who was also very rude and could do nothing for me. I recommend never using their services do to this fact alone. Very bad business ethic and very rude!

I ve received a ticket that said they fertilized the lawn when I knew the sprinkler was running in part of the lawn. So I knew that they couldn t have fertilized that part of the lawn. Their treatments killed some of the grass in a large part of the yard and after a year and a half I terminated the service. They wouldn t send someone out to talk to me about the problem.

They bought out Planet Earth lawn care, with whom we were very satisfied. They have continued the excellent care of our lawn, and we don't seem to have the lawn problems that plague some of our neighbors.

Very good service, comes out within 48 hours to respond to any problems.

I bought a house with a beautiful lawn in July. Being pregnant and moving is not easy, so I hired Scott's to come take care of our lawn since I had no time, energy or knowledge on how to take care of St. Augustine grass, but I could see it needed attention. I completed the online request for a lawn assessment. I was called the next day. The technician had come by the house and discussed what my lawn needed and how their program worked. He said the first application was free then about $50 a month thereafter. I was assured that I could talk with my technician whenever I needed to so I could understand what was happening to the lawn. He said a sales rep would call the next Tuesday (it was the day before the 4th of July). No one called (that should have been enough to tell me not to pursue it...). So, I called and I was already in their system so we set up the first date of application. I was very clear that I wanted to speak with the technician. They assured me he would knock on the door before the service so we could discuss the lawn's condition. The first day he came, it was 6:45 a.m., he came and went and by the time I realized someone was here, he was driving away. I called to talk to him and it took 2-3 days to call me back. I missed him on his next visit too. Not to be paranoid, but I felt like I was being avoided. To top off the poor customer service, my lawn got worse, fast. The icing on the cake was when the tech showed up a week early to do my next service without calling ahead like I had asked. He was coming early b/c he was going to go on vacation and wouldn't be there during the time of my scheduled visit. That is when we decided to cancel the service.

The company were quick to respond to get our business. They made many claims with regards to their ability to take care of my lawn but as time went by it began to deteriorate & far more weeds appeared than I had ever had before. Whenever I called to complain they were very slow to return my calls. When I did get a response they always tried to sell me another treatment that I allegedly needed that was not included in the monthly price. Since I canceled their services they have not stopped calling me & knocking on my door.

They come at the time each fertilization treatment is needed and keep the lawn lush and healthy. Pricing is very fair for the service provided in my area. They are reliable and their treatment very successful. I would recommend his service to others, in fact I already have on several occasions.

At first when I called he showed up late and it seemed like he didn't know a lot about what he was doing. They ruined my entire yard and when I called for an explanation, it was hard to get a hold of them. When I finally spoke to them they gave me a stupid answer. The price was the only good thing.

This company had done a terrific job for me over the last sessions until once they charged me for a session I did not receive. I called in and told them they took a lot of time to respond to me. I called them back several times and they still did not respond to me. They do a great job doing what they do, but I am debating whether I hire them again or not.
