I can't say enough good things about Grady and Tomahawk Painting. When I learned that my next-door neighbor was looking for a house painter at the same time I was, I called three companies to come out and bid both houses. Grady was the one who had the best price. And at a gut level, he sounded the most like he really knew what he was doing. Both houses are finished and they both look amazing! Grady is very detailed. For example, in addition to just taking the numbers down so he could paint, he repainted them before putting them back. He also kept tinkering with the color for the front door with his paint supplier to get it exactly right. And he figured out a way of getting to a really tricky area without having to remove and replace a screen panel in the back. Plus, he's just a really friendly guy who's easy to work with. If you're looking for painters to give you a bid, make sure you include Grady at Tomahawk Painting.

He was pretty good to work with and he was very reliable. He was here when he said he would be here and if not, then he would give us a call. He is our neighbor and it's nice to have a neighbor doing their work. The price was pretty much what we got and I think the service was a 5 year guarantee.

First time we ever had to have a house painted and we were very happy with his service. He was friendly and professional but more importantly he did a great job and even finished a little a head of schedule. As long as we stay in this area if we need a house painted we'll be using him again.

It was nine years since my last paint job and the house needed painting. I contacted Tomahawk Painting and was given an approximate date to paint. I was told that all I needed to do to prepare was to give him the color choices. I was contacted about a week before to confirm the date of the work. He was punctual and began pressure cleaning promptly, He even pressure cleaned the back porch which was unexpected. The second day he came back to start painting the house. He did not cover any part of the house, windows, or ground. He sprayed until he got rained out. He came back the next day to paint the trim. He had to work around rain again. When he finished the house it looked fine from the sidewalk looking at the house. However, paint was sprayed everywhere including landscaping rocks, windows, plants, and even the porch he just cleaned. There was also about a 5 foot square spot of blue grass where I assume the pressure washer was cleaned out. I did not complain about this because I decided that the grass would be cut and the paint would be gone. I was also going to clean the dirt off the windows and would clean the paint off then myself. Upon closer inspection, cleaning the paint off the windows, I noticed paint on the metal frames. I also noticed that the areas around the windows were missing alot of paint where the wall meets the trim color. When I looked down from the second story windows I saw most of the top edges of the stucco was missing paint! I tried to remove the paint from the window but could not reach it. I decided at this time that I needed to inform Grady at Tomahawk Painting that there is paint I could not remove and that the house appeared to need a second coat of paint. He replied quickly and told me he didn't think that the paint on the windows was from him, but from 9 years ago! Of course I have washed the windows many times since then and can tell when new blue paint shows up. He also said that it was likely that the rain puddled above the stucco causing the paint to missing in those areas. He told me he would clean the windows and to leave the gallon of leftover paint outside for him. When he came back to do this, he scraped a couple of the downstairs windows I already cleaned and left. He did not paint anything, the paint can was still full and the windows were still covered in paint. I decided that it would be helpful to take photos of the missed wall and some of the paint so that he knew what I was talking about. When he came to talk to me about it, I tried to show him what I meant and he got very irate! He yelled that the paint was from the previous paint job and that there was no way that his paint could go through the window screen! He ignored what I was saying about all the paint that was missing! He then stormed away!

Owner, Grady Martin, arrived on time with paint and material needed. He finished painting within three hours and explained when it would be safe to return items from the middle of the garage back around to the sides of the garage. Grady takes the time to finish the small details. He has already painted the outside of our home and we have it scheduled for him to paint the interior as well.

Amazing job. Grady was very professional and particular. The house looks amazing and well worth the price. Painting the exterior of a home can be messy, but overall, he was very careful of the plants, lawn, windows etc. We are detail oriented, and Grady did a wonderful job! We would recommend him to anyone.

When they came they got started promptly but they were very sloppy. I had paint all over my windows, on my car port and all over the ground. They didn't clean up anything. I was very dissatisfied with their service.
