TOM'S STUMP GRINDING SERVICE

Description of Work: This company was great. They came out the day after I called to perform the job. I received a verbal quote over the phone per my request. When Tom saw the stump he revised his quote to a LOWER price as it was a smaller job than i described. He had the wrong equipment with him (as I described the job as bigger than it was) but his staff was out just 2 hours later to do the job. They communicated well and often. I would hire Tom again without question. Only thing to note is Tom is both the owner and one of the workers. So don't expect someone dressed professionally to give you a quote. Tom works hard and comes prepared to do the job. Didn't bother me at all - was actually glad to give his small business the work and very pleased with the quality.

Description of Work: Called for stump grinding service and Tom told me Clermont was normally out of his service area, but would contact me when in Clermont. About a week later he contacted me that he was in Clermont and could be to the house soon. I was at work, but even without being at the house he was able to perform the service. Left a card on the door with the price and where to mail payment. Very honest and trusting company.

Description of Work: Tom provided a general quote of $50 to grind a tree stump in our front yard. He asked if it would be alright to wait a few days to do it as that was when he would be in our area. He called the morning of to say he was on his way and called again when he was at the house. The stump was a little larger than I though (it really was a big tree) so the cost was a little higher. He completed the service and left a bill on our front door with instructions on how to pay. Great service and I'm really glad to have that stump gone.

Description of Work: He ground down the remains of a stump and removed roots that were left by a previous worker. He also showed us how to work on a stump hat was in an area that was too small to bring in his equipment.
