Jeremy was a highly talented craftsman who was prompt, polite and punctual. He assessed the needs for the small project, obtained his materials and went to work. We couldn't be happier with the job he did.

The gentleman came in very promptly. He looked at the project and provided a quote. We agreed he would come back and start the work. I did not hear from him again. Since no communication we are moving forward to another contractor.

Allen was on time, very professional, provided great advice and was very, very courteous. He worked thoroughly and quickly. We would definitely use The Handyman Company again.

He was supposed to arrive between 9-9:30. Instead he called and asked if he could come later. When he arrived about an hour and a half later, he showed up REEKING of alcohol. He said he needed someone better experienced in ceiling work and referred another guy to us. The new guy's estimate was about 3 times what other Angie's List members quoted us for the work.

I scheduled an appointment for 6:30 pm on 7/23/2013. They never showed up. I called their headquarters around 6:40 to see if anyone was coming. The girl who answered told me she would check into it and someone would get back to me. They never did. I called again at 6:55 and was told she couldn't get a hold of anyone. I left the job site as we have not moved into the home yet. I understand when people are late or can't make a job (if it's a reasonable explanation). But not calling a customer to let them know what is going on is unacceptable. I will not work with this company.

We had a scheduled appointment for 1-1:30. If we agreed upon the price for the knock down ceiling: it would be done immediately. The work was for texturing only. The room was empty, the ceiling had already been scraped. First call at 12.15 he was running late AND he would not be able to do it the same day. We would have to schedule a followup date. Second call 1:40 he was running at least another 45 minute late, he would have to call again and let me know. Forget it, a whole afternoon waisted. Not only could they not do the one 10 x 11 room on the day I scheduled it but he couldn't even be on time after two phone calls of re adjusting the time. Hired someone else.

I had a pretty good experience with their work in the past. The service person was very nice. Arrived right on time. He reviewed the work and told me that it would take him several hours as he would have to take apart the fencing. I asked why he could not cut out the section and pop it in. He explained that that would not work and it would not sit properly. He called in to get an estimate. Telling them it would take him 4-5 hours. He gave me an estimate of $300. It sounded very high to me. I said I would shop around. He can came down to $225. I still thought it sounded high, but went ahead with it. Signed for the service order. I went inside. In no less than 10 minutes, he called me out to let me know he was done. He had popped in the piece. He said he could do this because he was a professional. But it would still cost $200 because he had called that in and he could not go lower. I went ahead and paid this. But I must say, I really felt like I got hustled on the work effort. Shame on me for not getting another estimate. I have gotten spoiled on Angie's List as 99% of the time, the top rated folks are awesome. But I feel with the company's that subcontract out folks, you may still be rolling the dice a bit.

I was firm with the scheduler. Please don't waste either of out times if you are going to come here and quote something ridiculous like $50 an hour for labor. They quoted more like $100 an hour. They sub out to contractors. Just middle men marking up without getting their hands dirty. If you don't mind overpaying go ahead and use them.

The handyman call before coming, showed up on time. Gave me the estimate for both jobs. When he need a part, he ran to the store to purchase it. The part was then paid for in the final bill. He worked well and fast. Showed me his work and was very nice.

The contractor arrived right on time for both the estimate and to complete the work which was done the next day. The work was done quickly and professionally. He consulted with me on each project to explain what he was doing and see if it would meet my needs. I will definitely call them for small handyman jobs in the future.

Great! Sebatian Dobrowolski did a fantastic job. He was courteous, punctual, very professional and just a nice person! I would trust him to do any sort of odd job around the house. Very knowledgeable and always showed up when he said he would.

The job was extremely well done and in the time estimate. I was pleased with the results. I will certainly hire them for any handyman type job again.

They were a little pricey but I am very happy with them and I have already recommended them to other people.

The work was done quickly, efficiently, and at a very reasonable cost. An appointment had been set for a worker to come paint the front eave of the house. When no one showed after an hour passed the time, I did call the provider. He was completely apologetic about forgetting the appointment, and immediately sent a worker from a job to paint the eave. It took the worker less than two hours to do the painting, left the bill for the work, and left. I was very satisfied with the work and the price and will certainly have future work done by this company.

The serviceman arrived right on time. He was very nice. He reviewed the work, called in an estimate and had me approve. Then did the work in about an hour. A touch pricey. But it was very good service. I would use them again.

Robert reset the piece of drywall and textured the wall so you can't even tell the piece had been removed and reset. He had to go to two different stores to match the profile of our baseboard and he found it. He attached the baseboards, painted and caulked them. They look better than when we moved in. We had a couple of tricky angles and he meticulously measured and trimmed a little at a time until the angle was perfect. We found The Handyman Company on Angie's List and we will definitely use them again.

Again Ray was wonderful. He came out and gave me ms good estimate on the work. Told me the materials I would need and returned on the date promised to start the work. Work was slower than planned due to Ray helping on another job but the work was completed beautifully.

This was a special offer through Angie's List. When the provider contacted me the said they provided the equipment for the jobs I needed performed. That was not the case when the serviceman arrived. We had to rummage through the garage to find a dinky hand sprayer to spray a mildew preventive on the roof of the house. I was satisfied with the results, however. He did not have the needed tool to install the tension wire. I did have the allen wrench provided with the hardware for the job, but he didn't really seem motivated. The worker did successfully install the pot rack with his own tools. Throughout his visit the worker dumped his personal woes on me. I just wanted him to leave.

Free Estimate was quick and easy. Scheduling was easy, however our "handyman" call 30 minutes before the scheduled time and came 3 hour late. They did a very poor job cleaning up and they clearly were not 100% how to do the job even through they stated they did. I would not reccommend this company - please do yourself a favor and call someone else.!

Their office staff and onsite craftsman were all A+ in my book. I have used their services on more than one occasion and find great value in the 1 year warranty to most all of their work. That makes a difference on how well someone does their job, if someone can honor a 1 year warranty they are not trying to take your money and leave town. Again A+ crew both for their office staff and onsite staff. They installed a ceiling fan, two garage light outdoor light fixtures and some blinds all in very good time. They also I believe offer a free estimate option for those just trying to gauge their prices CALL THEM TODAY.

Overall, the execution of the work was very good. The only complaints I have were that the handyman did not arrive on the day promised to do the estimate and took a while to complete the work. First, the office called in the morning and advised me that he was running behind on another job. Second, after the majority of the work was done, on a Friday, the handyman said that he would return around Tuesday to finish the last of the facia work. He never returned and long story short, two weeks later the last of the work was completed.
