Representative called ahead of time and arrived early. Worked efficiently. Finished job in about 2 hours, well in advance of his original estimate of 4 hours.

Luis was great. I have got a few things done by them. I initially dealt with them through the big deal. The last job was small. They normally have one person come out to make an estimate and then arrange for another person to come out. So, he came out and just did it because the job was so small. I have used them before and I think they do excellent work. It was essentially a service call. It?s one of those things to some extent it?s like an electrical problem. The price for the actual work was a little high, but he had to figure it out as well and test it. We ended up using a garden hose up against the outlet to see what it was. So, the price was very good. So far, it hasn?t leaked. They came out on time. I would definitely use their services in the future too. In fact, this is the third time I have used them.

He came in and began working on the screen, and he cut into the laminate and didn't say anything initially. I noticed it and I put some crazy glue on it to seal it, but unfortunately I thought he would do a much better job. He didn’t tighten the screen, telling me that the sun would fix that problem. I wasn’t too happy with the handyman they sent out to do the job. The ceiling fan work was very good but the screen work was not. Handyman Connection coordinated well, responded quickly, and they did a good job. The handyman was very diligent in the way he went about getting the job done.

I took advantage of $49 coupon offering 2hrs of work to repair the screen on a sliding glass door and also fix the garbage disposal. I called on Monday and scheduled an appointment for the following day at 1pm. Tuesday morning I received a call to confirm my 1:00pm appointment and was given the name of the gentlemen who would be doing the work (Juan Vazquez). Juan also called me at 12:52pm to tell me he would be there in 8 minutes!. Juan arrived right on time and checked the garbage disposal and also took measurements for the screen. He advised me that he was going to buy the materials and would return shortly. He was back within 25 minutes with the materials and immediately got to work. When he finished with the screen door, he started on the garbage disposal. It was really jammed tight. Juan worked very hard to get it running again. Everthing was fixed within the two hour timeframe so the total cost was $49 + $13.52 for materials (Juan gave me the Home Depot receipt showing everything he bought) I was very impressed with Juan's professionalism, focus and commitment to getting the job done. He didn't waste anytime. I really appreciate his perseverance with the garbage disposal - he refused to give up until it was unjammed and working!! I very much applaud all his efforts!

I bought a discount coupon from Angie's list worth two hours of Handyman Connection service. I called Handyman Connection, and there was no difficulty having the coupon acknowledged and an appointment made. Ken Bailey, a field manager, came to my house on 5/11 and did a survey of the work to be done by climbing into the attic, examining wiring, looking at switches, and disconnecting a fan. That took him about an hour give or take and cost nothing. Based on his initial inspection, he felt that corrective action could require about four hours (two of which would be covered by my coupon) and $45 in materials. I signed the proffered agreement for the work, gave him a $45 deposit for the materials, and waited for a call to schedule a craftsman. Ken called back in the afternoon; and since I was unavailable on 5/12, we scheduled a visit for the morning of 5/13. The person assigned, Sebastian, arrived as scheduled and did a survey similar to the one done by Ken. He was very thorough, informative, and personable. He encouraged me to ask questions and was heroically patient with my lack of knowledge. The best part, though, was his discovery that an existing, but hidden, wire would solve my problem without the need to install a new switch, fish a new wire, and otherwise take additional time. He finished the assignment in less than two hours, required no material that was not already available in my junction boxes, and made calls to ensure that I had no liability beyond the $49 that I paid for the coupon from Angie's List and that I received credit for the $45 deposit. It would be great if all service calls went as well as this one.

That was a positive experience. Well, when the person came he was ready to do, whatever was required to do. In my case, he needed to go to home people and buy a couple of things, because he did not have them, but that did not take very long. He was gone like maybe half an hour. He did the work quickly. The work appeared to me, to be very well done. I do not remember for how long, he was here, but he did everything we asked him to do. I do not have any complaints. The thing with the company is, you never know whom you are going to get. There are some, independent contractors who are looking for other sources of money due to their housing problem. Some of them will go to work for him. This person told me that he is a general contractor, not that I believe it. You have to be careful. It is one of those companies; you do not know who is coming. You do not know that much about the company really. However, they did send somebody out quickly and took care of the problem. There were no complications with the company, just a few things to be aware of. I would recommend this company to others. I was asking questions to this person and he was explaining everything to me. I really appreciate that.

My whole experience was exceptional, thanks to Angie's List . Made contact with the company, they took my information and advised me that someone will contact me in which they did. The appointment was made for the following day, in which the gentleman promptly arrive on time. They started the following Tuesday, I must say I do hope I spelled it right , the contractor they send "LED or LET" was superb . he was not only polite but very friendly, kind , and knowledgeable. Part of this job , was a water leak damage that happened in my master bedroom , on my newly finished floor. The job was well done , the workmen, were clean , and masterful.. There is no doubt that I will be using this company again. Good Job!!

I found that they did a good job, but it was a little more expensive than I expected.

They arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. The workman quickly ascertained where I wanted the items hung and how they were to be positioned. The workman had to modify the back of the largest mirror to hang it in the desired orientation. He quickly went to the hardware store to get the hangers that he needed. Everything was hung correctly and it all looks great! I will definitely call these people, the next time I need anything done.

Although this was a plumbing problem, I figured the job was mostly a handyman job because the leak was behind the wall. It was difficult to find one company that would do both the plumbing and handyman work. Steven and his helper were able to do both with skill and professionalism. They did all the work in 4 hours and left the bathroom as clean as it was before they started. The price was very fair.

I recently had new flooring installed in my home. The workers did not reseat the toilet in my guest bath correctly so that water came out of the bottom of the toilet when it was flushed. In addition, the workers pulled a towel bar so that it began to hang off the wall and caused paint near the baseboards to crack and peel. The handyman who was sent arrived at the designated time, was ready to work, and explained what caused the problems and how he was going to fix them. He even noticed that the front door stuck badly and offered to fix it. He worked as rapidly as possible and paid great attention to detail. He was professional and did quality work.

Well I have had a number of things that have been building up at the house that I just don't have time to do. So being a new member at angies list I decided to give it a try. I called and spoke with a young lady that listened to all of the issues. I wanted to get a quote for the work that needs to be done so I can begin the process of knocking them out. She took my home inforamtion, cell number etc and set an appointment with us on Saturday 9-9:30 am which is only one of 2 days that we have available. I also had an AC guy scheduled that same day. So I am all set! Well they never showed up nor did they call to cancel! Just another example of the service industry gone bad...I guess...I am a business owner and I have never just not shown up...I would never abuse another persons time like that. If I got into a jam I would call...If I just didn't want to do the job I would suggest another company...But never would I not respect anothers time! Please do not call us in reference to this.

He stripped two main entrance hardwood doors. He stripped them clear down to the wood then I did the finishing. He did the stripping and it took a long time. It took about 6 days to get the finish off so they obviously under bid on the work, but they stuck by it and I think they did a good job. The guy was out there working in the rain. I've had this company many times before and they're pretty good if you need somenthing done right away.

This was as good as it gets; Dave was early for his appointment; got right to work; hung plastic protection, moved blown-in ceiling insulation, removed damaged drywall, installed new drywall, taped, mudded, sprayed new popcorn ceiling, replaced ceiling insulation, and cleaned up; I had expected all this to take most of the day; start to finish took 2 1/2 hours; don't try this at home......this guy is good..............

Handyman showed up on time and gave estimate for labor. Ordered french door, Handyman help with the ordering at no charge, special order. When door arrived call up Handyman and was able to start within 2 days. Handyman showed up on time again to start work, started sliding glass door removal first, finish 3 days, replace french doors in one day, trimmed out and paint 2nd , was very clean and made precautions for weather. Workers clean and cleaned work area everyday. Charge me the labor amount on the estimate no changes, no surprises. Nice! Looks great.

He better than perfect. He was on time prepared to do the work, and had his own tools and equipment. The cost for the materials were extremely reasonable. When he arrived he was ready to work. The end product was finished earlier than I expected. I would definitely call them again.

Called after accepting a special offer from Angie's List and seeing this firm had a top ranking. Called them late on a Friday and they returned call the next business day setting up appointment for an estimate quickly. Did the estimate and did the work the same day. The serviceman who did the estimate and the actual work was very professional, seemed to be very thorough, qualified and personable.

Great! The drywalling looks great and he sanded it to perfection so that the areas needing paint will be so easy to do. The contractor cleaned up after the work was done and was always there when he said he would be. He told us the job might take 3 days because of the time it took to dry before he could sand and he was right on target with the days, times and total cost.

They arrived late and I accompanied them to Lowes to buy the required materials. At the same time they were using their own funds to buy certain tools, which surprised me as I thought they would have their own tools before commencing. They did not do a good job on the ceiling (popcorn) and I had to argue with them to do it again, under threat of witholding payment. They slipped out of the house at odd times, once to buy a tile cutter for use in the bathroom. They were surly and I had to insist that they tidy up the mess they made on the street outside the house. Of the three, one spoke English, one spoke a little, and one spoke none. Finally they managed to break a window in the shower stall. I wish I had accepted their offer to repair it but was so fed up with them that I wanted them out of the house as soon as possible. The window is still broken as I can find no one who can install one of that size. I repaired it myself with duct tape to keep out insects. Now that I am a member of Angies list I shall search again for a man to fix the broken window.

The work was done quickly and done well. The handyman did not even take a break, he worked till the jobs were complete. He even fixed the lock on the front door without us asking. Great job!!!

Handyman Connection immediately put me in touch with Dave Brown, the craftsman assigned to the job. Dave called me to arrange a time to come out and quote the necessary repairs. I approved the quote on 9/24 and he was here to do the work on 9/26. He had to work from a scaffold due to the high ceiling. Dave cut away the affected areas (approx. 18" x 7') and had the replacement drywall installed and painted by the end of the day along with some minor patchwork in another part of the ceiling. He returned on the second day to add a 4" x 4" beam that he felt would prevent the damage from recurring (the damage had happened before but the repair that was performed by another company didn't last) so he installed the beams much to my satisfaction. The work was completed on the second day despite weather delays. After the first day Dave had asked if he could leave his scaffolding and equipment here in order to have it ready the following day. Of course I said yes and to just leave it where it was. Instead, he moved it all to one side and swept, hosed off, and cleaned up the entire lanai area. Who does that sort of thing any more? Very professional. I am totally pleased with the work Dave has done and would certainly recommend him for anyone needing Handyman Connection in this area.

He was nice and helped me move some furniture while he was here.

We're not very good at household DIY (do it yourself) stuff, so we waited until we had an accumulation of small projects for a handyman to tackle to make it worth his while to come out to our house. We called Handyman Connection and they sent Thomas out to take care of our little projects. He did a great job and everything was neat and clean when he left. He was very friendly and he definitely knew what he was doing. We will be sure to request him by name if we every need services from Handyman Connection again.

It went very well from start to finish.
