I called them twice for quotes and both times thier quotes were much higher than their competitors. I will bypass them for quotes in the future.

Angie's List had a special a while ago about handyman work and I used them for installing the baseboards. They did great. The people who came out were excellent. They knew what they were doing and they did an excellent job.

My overall experience with Handyman Connection Company was excellent. They had charged me $49 for two hours of service which I thought was excellent. They were very responsive and punctual. They were very professional. I would use them again in the future.

He could offer me an estimate for the work on the siding, but couldn't include pricing for the materials. He wanted $35 per window to install the blinds. I thought he was very professional and good with my animals, but I just couldn't afford his rates.

My phone call to Handyman Connection was handle with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. The service appointment scheduled was kept and I received a 30 minute reminder call that they were on their way. Their service rep was old-school so I was even more pleased. My TV is mounted on a wall adjacent to my walk-in closet. He cut a 24'' square on the closet side, inserted a 2 x 6 piece of wood for more support to mount the TV on. He also left the 24'' square he cut in one piece, put in back in place and secured with 4 screws. This was done so It can be remove to drop my wires from the TV, Blue Ray and X-Box behind the wall. Outstanding workmen ship . His name is Giovanni. Don't hesitate to call this company and ask for this service rep.

The people who came out were fair. I had to focus their efforts and keep pointing them in the right direction.

Sebastian was very professional. I purchased an Angie's BIG deal and the value was good. Estimate however did not include the cost of materials which came as a bit of a surprise to us. Overall however the service was excellent and I will use this contractor again! :)

Justin began the job on 9/2 and finished on 9/8, working a Saturday and part of a holiday. His work ethic, experience, and conscientious effort to turn out a top-notch product are most noteworthy. His background as a superintendent of construction was demonstrated repeatedly and were priceless in getting us from Point A to Point B. On occasion we had need to leave Justin in our home by himself and found him to be most trustworthy. He has offered many good suggestions and has continued to call us to check on the progress of our other DIY projects. We highly recommend JUSTIN SUTER to all and will be looking for opportunities to employ him again! When I vetted this craftsman with his employer, he said he wished he had 15 more employees like Justin. I heartily concur with that assessment!

The Handyman connection was a good experience from the first phone call, they were much more professional than other vendors we attempted to call. They were on time and they kept us informed with who would be coming to visit our home. When our service Tech Kenny showed up, we felt relieved. We are doing major repairs to our home and there are so many things that needed to be done and so many decisions we had to make. Kenny provided great advice to us, and was always providing us with cost effective options. He was kind enough to go to the store with us to make sure that we purchased the appropriate materials for the project. When the project actually got underway, i couldnt have been more impressed with his attention to detail and the quality of the work preformed. Certain aspects of our house that I thought could not be visually improved were already looking immaculate after just one day on the job. Kenny is a very nice person who is easy to work with, he was even friendly to our animals. Each day he kept us informed of progress, and he even found some wiring that was chewed by a squirrel and saved our house from a fire. He goes above and beyond what we could have imagined from a home repair man. He has great referrals for where to buy our products from and where to get professionals to help us in specialized areas such as electrical work and concrete pouring. If you want your repairs done quickly, quality and at a great price, use this company and ask for kenny, he is great!

Called office and let them know needed someone quick September 6 since having company (father-in-law) coming weekend. I was not able to be there but my wife was able to meet them same day. Wow, great service. My wife presented the list which i could not get down in time before the weekend. My wife call me all excited and said she added to the list, her dream closet. I reviewed the list and was little surprised on some of the pricing being high. I called their field manage Ken which meet with my wife and thank him for leading my wife to a bigger list, jokingly. He commented that my wife just keep asking "Can you do this?" and since Handyman is a license contractor with the State of Florida he said sure can. He also advise that he price out each item individually but I could get a discount if multiple items were accepted. I advise him that my wife would love if all could be done but this was Tuesday night and needed to be done by Saturday morning. He said it would.......I went for it. Ken showed up the next day with ONE guy. I figured no way. But between Ken and Sebastian the work was completed Friday Night!! My wife said I can retire my handyman hammer. Oh, she loves her closet!! Room for more, ......great.

Our service tech Dave Brown could not have been better, despite a long list of projects, he completed them all in a day, came in on budget and did a fantastic job

They are really like a referral for handymen. The handyman they sent out did a good job and gave me some very useful advice. We changed what we were planning to do and they did the work today. It was a little bit on the expensive side because I've had other handymen but the work was very well done and they were very professional so I guess that is probably the trade-off. I was happy with the work. I don't know if I would use them again because I had a coupon this time. The bill should have been around $100. The bill from them was $200 but the coupon dropped it down to $75. It should have been $75 in the first place because the guy was only here 1 1/2 hours. The price was a little bit expensive but the quality of the work was very good. The thing about Handyman Connection is that if the guy doesn't do a good job they have other guys that can come out and fix it so that's why you have to pay extra. I am paying the handyman plus their markup instead of paying the handyman directly.

The work was done on a Sunday, which surprised me, but showed that the company is committed to giving it all. I had to arrange the work over the phone because this was for my second home (where my daughter and her family live) and although it took longer to arrange than I would have preferred, it certainly wasn't overly long. It was easy to pay (my daughter provided the credit card when the job was done). The house looks great. This was my second experience with this company, although the two projects were different (pressure washing and deck repair) but I was extremely satisfied with both. I will call this company again for any kind of handyman needs.

I got a quote the next day from Ken. Decided to proceed with the project and they had a crew out there that afternoon. Love the crew they sent. Very hard workers and do the job right the first time. Would definitely use Handyman Connection again.

Sebastian was the handyman and he was excellent. I used a $50 coupon from Angies list. I was very happy with my service.

Sebastian was our assigned handyman, the company has a local team - you can request a particular person in the future if you have a preference (we'll definitely ask for Sebastian again in the future). Fixed price quotes are provided up-front and the bill was exactly what was agreed upon, no hidden charges at all - they even give you copies of the hardware store receipts. Very professional, friendly handyman who knew exactly what he was doing across the wide range of tasks we provided. Immaculately clean work area, place looked tidier after he left than before he started. These guys aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for - in this case, professionalism and trustworthiness. I do not know much about home repair but did not feel like I was being spoken down to in any way or that they tried to upsell me on services I did not need. Honestly if a handyman told me I needed to "instigate the flux capacitor" my first question would probably be "how much" - this was my main concern when choosing a provider, especially with a long list of work and an older house. There's definitely a huge discount for doing multiple jobs rather than one small item, so I'd recommend calling with a list and working out a fixed price. I'd highly recommend Sebastian and Handyman Connection and plan on using them for all future handyman needs.

Overall, I am very pleased. If there are discounts for businesses on Angie's List, I encourage you, to print out the discount offers and have it available for the representative, it makes the business transaction go smoothly.

Had an issue with the Big Deal coupon. The handyman did not know there was a coupon involved. Had to call the office twice to get it straight. The work that was done was OK - a little more than I expected with the coupon.

The first day the guy called several times and kept pushing our appointment back; then he didn't show up at all. I wasted all afternoon waiting on him. So I called the company back that sent him. They were surprised that he didn't show up so they sent someone else out. The next day the guy was really good. He was on time and fast. He did a good job and made sure he cleaned up, like any scuff marks from his ladder and stuff. Their price was very reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

They came out and gave me an estimate. They came out at the scheduled time. They answered all my questions, but did not try to upsell me on anything. They are good people, but I did not hire them.

A technician showed up on time & called beforehand. He told me that the job would cost me $600, but then gave me different discounts which made the price drop to $255. He didn't itemize or breakdown the cost. I feel gouged; I had the same type of work done several years ago and it didn’t cost me anywhere near what he quoted. I’ve had Handyman Connections before do service for me, which was good, but this is outrageous and unfair.

I have used them before and it worked out great. Michael Hale was who I had that time so asked for him again and he was available. They were out in about 3 days with the estimate and did the work that same visit. I am a happy camper.

This was my first time using Angie's list and I have to say, I am disappointed. I expected much better and more professional work based on the reviews. Maybe the reviews covered other handymen within the organization. The lamp and wall repair work was fine, but then things went downhill with the outside trim work. 1. He left for 4 hours in the middle of the day and didn't tell me when he was returning. 2. During that time he left his trailer in my driveway and I couldn't get my car out. 3. I finally called him and he said he was coming right over. No apology for disappearing. 4. There was a 60% chance of rain and the front of my house was left exposed for most of the day. 5. He had his son helping him and the young man was extremely inexperienced. He got paint on my windows and walls. I now have to clean off paint and repaint an outside wall. He left his son to paint the trim while he was hurrying to reconnect his trailer to go home. 6. My wife and I could hear him yelling at his son outside our house. Made us very uncomfortable. 7. When I pointed out the paint on the windows, he said it wasn't them. I ran my finger through the wet paint to show them. Then he offered to clean, while saying that the cleaning solution might wreck the paint on the frame. What? 8. There are parts of the trim that aren't painted. Sloppy. In addition to this, the handyman never stopped soliciting more work from me. It started from the moment of the initial estimate to the time he left on the day of the actual work. It was incessant. I hope Angie's List turns out better than this in the future. I would have been better off asking my neighbor for references. UPDATE: since I submitted this report, I saw that they got paint on my porch, walkway and driveway. These guys are a disaster. Never again. UPDATE #2: I just went out there to put a final coat of paint on the repaired wood after they applied the primer. It was unbelievable. I had to recaulk 50% of it where large gaps were left. The wood itself is rough and unfinished compared to the parts around it. Incredibly shoddy work and workmanship. CONCLUSION: This may be the WORST contractor I ever had work on my house. If you use Handyman Connection, beware. You might get someone good and you might get this guy.

First of all before the job even started I was skeptical about what we would get for our money. I know we should have our minds set at ease a bit because Handyman Connection was highly recommended on Angie's List, but we have a long history of getting a LOT less than what we pay for without having to supervise the project. We were in for a treat.... Dave Brown is an employee of Handyman Connection. He arrived promptly when he said he would and went right to work. He was quiet, self-motivated and it was apparent right off the bat this guy knew what he was doing. Dave was extremely polite and unassuming. It was very hot outside and I had to stop him from working to ask if he wanted water! I asked him to please feel free to request water or soda or to come in and get cooled off. The job was done on time as promised. Dave did a good clean up job and the work was TOP NOTCH! I was extremely impressed and we are using Handyman Connection (and specifically Dave Brown) again very soon for another project. You can contract this firm with confidence. They are the real deal when it comes to quality, professionalism and price.
