Description of Work: Pleasant, but didn't go with them after the estimate. The estimate was a little high, but the greater concern was that a problem I had with my shower seals they didn't have a solution for.

Description of Work: I purcahsed a Big Deal for $49 for 2 Hours of Handyman Service. He repaired and painted a stain on my ceiling we had from a leak.

Description of Work: Having used HC in the past, I called for a second appointment. I had the identical experience to the review listed below (4/28). There was a "communication" problem and the sales manager arrived 1 hour late for our appointment. "He didn't know that Nicole had arranged for the work to be done that day." I emailed my list of projects later that afternoon hoping that HC would reschedule a craftsman. I finally received a response after two weeks and the estimate ($600) for 4 hours of work is beyond reason. Don't contact this company unless you have time to waste.

Description of Work: I received an estimate from Handyman Connection, but have not made a final decision about this project. While he was here, Mike repaired a light. The cost was $50, but the work only took 5 minutes.

Description of Work: After getting burned by one handyman and another one not following through, I joined Angie's List to see if I could find a good one! I called Handyman Connection on Monday with a little trepidation: Would I get somebody good? When would they actually get some things done? How much would I have to spend? And most importantly, when they are finished, will the work be quality? I was so surprised when the receptionist told me she could have someone at my house the very next day at 9am! WOW! I found out that Handyman Connection doesn't hire anybody with less than 15 years experience...that made me feel better. The man they sent was Mike Capolupo and he spent a lot of hours at my house Tues and Wed. I gave him a sort of 'wish list' and he gave me an estimate for all thing things I mentioned together, and also separately. Turns out their volume discount is the way to go, and they took money off the total b/c of the Angie's List coupon I mentioned to him. I hadn't planned on paying so much that day, but consider all I got done, it was WELL worth it. Mike was on time, even early the first day. The 2nd day, he was running late but called to let me know. Awesome!!! He was friendly but also did his work so I could get my stuff done (I'm a homeschooling mom, so needed to keep teaching at least some of the time). He clearly understood everything I asked him to do, gave good input when discussing options, and did everything I asked him to perfectly. I was left with shelves put up in my son's room (my husband had tried to get these up but got stuck and needed help), new knobs and door pulls in my kitchen, fixed some caulking and paint from a minor kitchen flood, installed a new hanging light in my hallway plus a dimmer switch, figured out a problem with my electrical outlet. He will also come back to install a cabinet and some shelves in my kitchen and probably a dozen other things I'll come up with now that I have someone I can trust to do a good job. I joked to Mike that I was going to give him a bad review on Angies List so that nobody else would want to call him...therefore he would be available when I needed him...lol. Mike is a carpenter by trade and that makes me want to have him do some other things. I feel lucky to have gotten him. My experience with Mike and the Handyman Connection could not have been better. HIGHLY recommend!

Description of Work: Juan arrived punctually and surveyed the different types of handyman repairs, including taking off a rotted fence slat and replacing it with a 12 ft. x 4 inch board. He then connected two new showerheads. He also placed a screen door back into place at the sliding doors. Finally, he, with precision, cut a large piece of wood so that it would replace the flooring under the sink and nailed it into place with perfect seams. I was impressed with his work ethic and the exactness of his projects.

Description of Work: After emailing Handyman Connection, I was called the very next day to set up an appointment. Very professional and customer service oriented. Stephen and his helper from Handyman Connection arrived promptly, even a little early for the caulking and puttying on my crown molding and baseboards. Stephen repaired a couple of small holes in the guest bathroom linen closet....for free!!!! The quality of the work was very good; Stephen even helped disassemble some stereo components on my entertainment center, which I had sold.
