I had a really big mess of boxes and papers. Some things I had kept as long as 20 years that I just could not let go. She helped me to see what I needed to keep. She gave me a system so I would not collect more clutter in the future. As I worked on one thing, Susan would work on another. She had lables, files, containers etc.. all that was needed to organize paperwork. She worked quickly as she knew exactly what neeed to be done. I had at least 3 large trash bags full of just papers. I now have an easily retrievable filing system; Information in three ring binders for [personal and miscellaneous info. The problem with completion is I had more stuff than could be address in the 3 hours allotted. I had more stuff that was in my old office area that had not even made it over to the new area. I had shelving that I was to add and did not have completed before Susan came to help .I regret that my life has gotten in the way and I still need to complete my office organizing. When I have the time, I don't have the money and when I have the money, I don' have the time!!! Susan did a great job! I am satisfied with all that she showed me..Thank you Susan for all you did to clean up my office area. I look forward to haveing you back soon help me finish.
Description of Work: Sue assessed my mess and started me on a clean-up and out system. She helped me to identify what I needed to keep and what needed to be thrown out. Clear out my paperwork clutter! She spent a lot of time listening to me and giving me the advice that I needed to get my mess in order. As I had more mess than the 3 hours for which I paid, she left me with instructions on how to finish. If I still needed her, I was to reschedule a time to come back to finish.

She is very good in prioritizing what projects to do and how to keep, donate, or throw out possessions. The finished project was similar to an interior decorators. I'm very pleased with her services.
Description of Work: She helped to organize the bookshelves and help downsize.

I guess I already covered this in the first question of What did the provider do. All I can add is that Sue Marie is a wonder at organizing ANY space. She has a vision for an area and she is able to pick items from rubble and place them in the most wonderful spots to highlight their beauty and their function. One example, that embarasses me, but I must comment on. I had the paper towel dispenser sitting on top of a portable microwave. If one was at the sink one would have to take two or three steps to the left to grab a paper towle from the dispenser. Ann Marie simply moved the upright towel dispenser and placed it on my granite counter to the left of the sink. Such a simple move. And so obvious to anyone but me. She moves FAST. You certainly get your monies worth from her organizing. She is such a blessing to me. I still have a few rooms in my house that I simply close the door to but those rooms won't stay that way for long as I plan on having Ann Marie visit me a couple more times this April/May time period. I want to add in conclusion that she is gentle with me when I get lost in my memories of pictures I find, while sorting through boxes/bags, of family/loved ones who have passed. Also, when I want to leave the room where I am trying to sort through items. Sue Marie knows I'm getting overwhelmed with my clutter. She gently recommends I take a break from sorting. And return in 10 minutes. I highly recommend Sue Marie to anyone who has a clutter issue and wants to clear space in their house. It also helps clear space in one's mind as well. :)
Description of Work: Sue Marie simply 'knows' how to organize any chaos/clutter into harmony. Plain and simple. She asks me what I envision for an area and helps me produce the results. I have had her help me clear up my clutter at my job as well as at my home for over 7 years. She is a lifesaver, plain and simple. She gets right into the fray and moves and shakes up a messy room in the shortest time I have ever seen anyone perform miracles of organization. She is friendly, personable, empathic towards me as I am NOT an organized person. She doesn't judge you for your behavior. She helps me, everytime she comes, to give me hints on how I can keep my personal clutter under better control. I have had her completely organize my work space/activity room at my job. I have had her assist me in clearing out a basement that was full of clutter. Four trailer loads of clutter. She helps me understand what value I place on each item I put my hands on. The three throughts are: Do I love it...Do I need it..Will I use it. If not, give away, throw away or sell.
