My only issue was the lack of communication from Blue Sky/Popcorn Removal. We had a scheduled appointment from 11am to 1pm window yesterday, on a Saturday because I was stood-up from 2 other companies during the week. At approximately 12.45pm, I called the office number to leave a message to see if we were still on schedule. At 1pm, I called the office again and left a message to see if the job was still happening. I received a call back from Ms. Jackie who told me that they will contact the crew and find out an update. A few minutes later I was told that the previous job was held back by the weather and it took the mud extra time to set. The crew leader then called me and said they were on the way and should arrive at about 2.30pm. I explained to them to call me before they pulled up to the job site. Waiting all day, I had to run errands. The work site was cleaned out, left open all day, as instructed via email. Waiting all day, I had a family member in the hospital that I wanted to spend time with. The crew arrived as promised over the phone at around 2.30pm,when I happened to be home but at this point I was tired of waiting around all day, not know if the job was going to be finished. I asked the crew leader to call back to central office to ask for a discount for me, $50 off 1 sheet or $75 for 2 sheets. The crew leader told me politely that it was not possible and at that point I was too upset to try to make any compromises. If this happened during the week, I would be out of work for an entire full day of pay. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxuries of working from home or having another person wait all day for a job that may or may not happen for me while I am working. Perhaps it is unreasonable to expect a phone call in the earlier part of the day, even though it started raining at about 9.30am but giving the crew the benefit of the doubt if it was raining for 3 hours straight at your current job, could it be possible to have someone call me and just tell me the weather is not right, the job is too small or your neighborhood is not in the service area? Perhaps if my family member was not at the hospital the entire day, I would have tried harder to be more proactive in checking the time table. This review is not intended to put blame on any specific person but there is still a very large feeling of frustration on the communication breakdown.

had a message that options would be via email... didnt recieve intitial e mail... called back on Wed and left message advising that e mail was not recieved.... recieved a call back from Jackie who was no help at all telling me that I have to look at e mail to see 3 options they offer. I explained that the prices were just general and that I would need someone to come by and physically see what it would take and give me a more precise estimate. Jackie replied by saying that they just dont have people driving around giving estimates and that I just need to look at the e mail..... got the feeling they didnt want my business and the manner in which they engage a potential customer leaves much to be desired!.... Would never reccommend them to anyone and am going to report them to the better business bureau!!!!

The meeting for the project estimate was detailed. Clay was knowledgeable and walked thru entire house reviewing what would be done and the minor prep items for me to do. Also, explained options available and how the process would work once the crew was on-site. Informational sheets were provided for the pre and post work. Jose and his crew arrived as scheduled, reviewed what would be done and gave a time estimate. The work was well done, on-time, as requested and with very minor clean-up. Jacquie did a follow-up call to ensure everything was good.

Popcorn Removal Company has our complete seal of approval with three AAAplus! The Company and especially the men who did the job did a fantastic job! Getting the job done and more importantly getting it done right! Popcorn Removable has a high level of putting the consumers first. Professional, detailed, calls retuned promptly and job completed on time. The men were very careful, and respectable of my home. The workers all cleaned up after job was complete as if they were never there. I would say don't hesitate call today! I waited too long. Now, I smile when I look up. Thanks Jackie, Jose, and entire crew.

Updating our 40+ year old home. One of our projects is to remove all the old popcorn ceilings and replace with knockdown texture. Textures by Blue Sky recently did the knockdown texture on the foyer, living room, and dining room ceilings. They gave us an appointment time and the workers showed up on time! They were professional, courteous, and super clean. The ceilings came out beautiful! You know how great it is when someone gets it right. This company will not disappoint. My husband is very particular and he was super pleased with the work done for us. We will definitely recommend Blue Sky to our family, friends, and neighbors. We can't wait to get everything back into these 3 rooms, so that we can get them to come back and do the bedrooms.

The popcorn removal/knockdown application was done on day one. The team arrived promptly and got to work. I had prepped the house as instructed by the informational video sent, but the guys moved the large pieces of furniture. They covered everything in plastic, sprayed the ceiling and allowed the moisture to set. They scraped the popcorn off, then they did the knockdown. They accomplished this, along with the cleanup, within about 6 hours (for my 1380 SF house). The knockdown needed to dry for 48 hours, so they returned a few days later to paint. They again covered everything before caulking and painting the ceilings. They had removed my AC vents the first day, and these were painted and replaced after the ceiling was sealed. I highly recommend this company. I've been planning to do this for years but kept putting it off because I was afraid of the mess; however, the cleanup for me is actually quite minimal. As an added bonus, I took this opportunity to do a radical spring cleaning. I'm planning a yard sale for all the stuff I decided not to put back into the house. I'm very satisfied with the services received!

On time and explained the process, had me see what they had done between process, covered everything that was on edges of garage and laid plastic on floors and driveway and taped down to ensure no damage. Made sure garage opener ran after they hooked back up, reviewed everything with me after job was done. VERY professional and good clean up after the job was finished I love it!!!! I will lbe having them do the interior of the home soon.

Everything went perfect, the lead crew tech went over the entire job and made sure it was done correct.

I have been very happy with them. I have hired them for other work in the past. The owner is very easy to deal with and fair with his pricing. The crew is very professional. The job supervisor is very accommodating and makes sure eveyrhting get done correctly.

Work crew arrived on-time and immediately walked job to review order. I left and returned a few hours later to a work zone!! Everything that needed to be protected was taped off and the men were hard at work. I took some pictures of the progress and left for about another 30 minutes before receiving a call that they were finished. I retuned and did a walk-thru of their work which I was very pleased. The knock-down texture is such an improvement over the popcorn and even though not painted yet a yields an already visible richness to the condo!!!

I called on Friday and was told they could remove popcorn ceiling and install texture on living space of about 1500 sq ft in less than one day. The next day, Saturday morning as promised a team of 3 guys showed up exactly on time ready to work. They did the most amazing job, I could not beleive my eyes, by 2pm that same day my home had a brand new ceiling. Beautiful and Fast, THEY ROCK, I would highly recommend Textures By Blue Sky and their team to anyone.

Jacquie gave me a free estimate. We had to get a new roof before moving ahead with ceilings. When we were ready she set up a day that was good for me. Her staff was on time and the job was done as expected. We were warned that is was a messy job, and told what our responsabilitys were going to be and everything went as expected. Overall, we were very satisfied.

While we were in the process of doing some demo and renovations, we called Blue Sky to provide an estimate for removal of the popcorn ceiling and apply knockdown finish. We were also going to need a price for replacement of some drywall due to our renovations. The sales rep provided an estimate for the above stated work but only included a price for the drywall replacement for the drywall removed as of that day. She stated that they would need to come back out once all the drywall demo was completed. We have been attempting to schedule that for the past 3 days. Today we left another message and Diane returned our call and scheduled an appointment as they instructed to finalize their estimate. About an hour after scheduling the appointment with Diane, a gentleman called and said he was returning our call. We explained that Diane had already called and set an appointment for next Wednesday. He stated that they only provide a free estimate one time. I explained that we were only following their instructions for a final inspection to finalize their price. He would not allow it and stated we should use someone else. He was very unprofessional and it has come to our attention that they operate under several different business names. We cannot recommend them at all.

Blue Sky was great to work with. We coordinated everything over the phone with them. They were able to schedule the job when we needed it to fit into our remodel. The workers were on time and very professional. Blue Sky did a fantastic job. My ceilings look awesome!!!! They were very careful about cleanliness. I thought their price was very competitive. I would highly recommend them for ceiling covers and painting.

The texture was fine but they had to come back and redo the paint. Everything is fine now.

They just finished the job here. They are very prompt and quick. Considering what they did, they are extremely clean. I picked in here when they were half done and I was like Oh My God they have ruined our house, but when they walked out 3 hours later it was immaculate. Their price is very reasonable. We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the ceiling. The first day they were 3 minutes early and the second day they were right on the money and both days they finished an hour ahead of time. They were very professional.

The office and estimator personnel were very punctual, helpful, and professional. We set up appointments for the popcorn removal and for the ceiling painting. The crew for each group arrived on time and did a good, thorough job. The ceilings are gorgeous! My only complaint is with the crew's professionalism. Using the bathrooms without asking, leaving a mess in one bathroom, uncovering a leather armchair before finishing the job (fortunately, no permanent harm done), and my favorite -- leaving a dead lizard on my couch. Why not just toss it in the yard?? I think these guys just need a few basic pointers from the front office on the do's and dont's of customer interactions. Otherwise, their work was terrific.

Personnel from Textures by Blue Sky, Inc. were both timely and professional. Jose the forman was pleasant and courteous. The work was done very quickly and they did an excellent job. Would hire them again without question.

Very professional group. everything turned out as I had requested. the ceiling texture is beautiful, far nicer than that done by another company in my master bedroom. I have more painting to do and will definitely call them when I am ready They do not take payment until you are completely satisfied which is not always the case with some company's. Shows they they are intent on doing a satisfactory job.

This company is amazing. We were very impressed with how quickly the crew covered the walls, removed the old popcorn ceiling and applied the new texture. The work was done on a Friday and the new texture was allowed to dry over the weekend. On Monday they returned and painted the newly textured ceiling. We were told that when the wall covering was removed that the tape might also remove some paint from the walls. They offered to touch-up the walls if we had the paint, which we did. One of our rooms has a custom paint job and some of the wall paint came off when the tape was removed. We thought they would not be able to match or blend the touch-up because of the custom paint, but they did and it looks great. Their attention to deal was very impressive. We highly recommend Textures by Blue Sky. We have already scheduled them to come back next month to take down the popcorn ceiling in our four bedrooms and hallway.

They were phenomenal. They were fairly priced and had great guys that were prompt, efficient and clean.

The crew showed up on time and we discussed the work to be done and they began. They did a fantastic job of minimizing the mess inside the house and cleaning up after themselves, which is not easy with popcorn ceiling removal. I was pleasantly surprised at how neat the house was. The job took about 6 hours from start to finish and the new ceiling texture looks amazing and I would absolutely hire them again and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my neighbors and friends.
