Both the crew for the removal, application and painting performed the work as represented in a timely, quality manner. They were responsive to all questions and attentive to detail. We were pleased with the results and glad that we pursued having it done.

The workers were exceptional. They arrived on time and worked neatly. They spend a good deal of time completing the repair and it looks wonderful. I would highly recommend both the knock down men and also the painters for doing this type of work. It was well worth the price and we intend to use them again

This company does a fantastic job. They showed up on time covered everything in plastic and even covered the driveway. They were polite and courteous, and answered all my questions. I had heard a lot of horror stories about what a mess this was going to be and Blue Sky proved them wrong. I felt like my house was tented from the inside, and when they were done they just rolled up the plastic and all the dust and mess went with them. The texture looks beautiful and they took the time and made an effort to touch up the wall paint too. They did everything that they promised to do. I can't say enough good things about the job they did for us. We now have a beautiful textured ceiling. Thank you Blue Sky!!!

Our home is 32 years old and the Florida heat causes attics to reach extreme temperatures. Our garage ceiling is made up of wallboard with insulation blown in above it. This past year it started buckling and portions actually separated and fell. I checked out Angie's List and found Textures by Blue Sky. The reviews were stellar so thought I'd take a chance. (A difficult thing to do these days.) Well, they did a beautiful job. They replaced six sheets of wallboard, secured the rest with screws (not nails), scraped off the remaining popcorn finish, applied a knock-down finish and came back 2 days later to paint. Everything was cleaned up each day so you wouldn't even know they had been there - except for my beautiful new garage ceiling. There was a final call at the end of the job to make sure we were happy with the result. I couldn't have asked for more!

Very good service. Office was responsive to questions and keeping me informed both by email and phone calls. I have given a B for punctuality since I was told that the crew would arrive between noon and 1PM via email. The crew arrived at 8:30AM without any notice or call. We had removed most items the night before leaving a few things to clear that morning. The crew was very accommodating though, helping to move a some furniture, so it worked fine. Their work was very good from setup, accomplishing the work, and clean-up following completion. Crew was very polite. Definitely would use this contractor again.

Dianne was breeze to work with via email to discuss options. Clay was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable when he came to do the estimate. The crew that came to do the work was prompt and courteous as well. Excellent experience all around!

The crews that came in were very professional, polite and concerned about covering all items in the house. They had to work around some very newly laid tile flooring and were very observant and careful. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them in the future if I have another cause.

Jose and the crew were on time. They put down plastic from the driveway throughout the house which when finished didn't leave evidence they were even there. Clay and his team dealt with a very challenging situation at our home. The ceiling was unfinished concrete and had many imperfections. We thought knockdown would be the safest way to go as a smooth finish would require very skilled labor and is much more likely to show every error. When our first attempt to cover the area did not give us the results we were looking for we contacted Clay. He worked with us to redo the area and his team expertly applied the smooth finish. We are very happy with both the work performed as well as the commitment to excellence that we found in working with Clay. I would highly recommend them!

Great group to work with. It's quite a circus show with stilt walkers and all , but there were no clowns with this group. They prepped extremely well, were diligent in their efforts, timely with their work, courteous and professional to the end. Would highly recommend them

We are very pleased with our popcorn removal. The knockdown looks great. They cleaned up nicely with the exception of a few drip spots on the wall and a door handle. I was able to easily wipe those things down. They finished in a very timely manner. Paint crew did a great job as well. I will recommend them to friends. Got two other quotes and Blue Sky was best price.

Clay and his team were punctual for each and every visit they made. Due to the constraints for elevator use in our building, everything had to be scheduled. This created challenges for Clay as the work to be done required drying time and numerous trips. They worked directly with the management company to schedule everything and were extremely flexible and accommodating. I am experienced in construction having remodeled several homes in the past, and had high expectations. The team did not disappoint. I would recommend Clay and the Blue Sky team to anyone requiring a high quality finish and first rate service.

Textures by Blue Sky is a wonderful company to work with! The quality of their work speaks for itself! We met with Jacquie who later provided us with a written estimate. Within a week we scheduled the first appointment to have popcorn removed in our living room, family room, dining room, laundry room and foyer. Her crew of three men arrived at 8 am on the dot! I love punctuality! They covered the walls and floors with plastic sheets. It took them about 4 and half hours to remove popcorn and apply knockdown. They left no mess behind which was quite impressive. A week later the same crew arrived to paint the ceiling which also took about 4 hours. Her crew did an amazing job. We were very happy with their work. Before hiring Textures we received estimates from 2 other companies and although Textures wasn't the cheapest, we chose them because Jacquie was pleasant to work with. We don't regret the decision! And you definitely get what you pay for which is high quality work! Would we recommend this company to others? You betcha! We plan on using them again to paint the interior of our house as soon as we have some other work done.

They came to the house and provided a free estimate the day after I called. I interviewed 3 contractors and they had the best price. After the job was scheduled they emailed me youtube links so I could watch videos on how to prepare the house and what to expect during the job... very helpful. The job took 2 days; first day was popcorn removal, minor drywall repair, and application of knockdown texture. Following 48 hours for the texture to dry, they came back to paint the ceilings. The crew was always on time, worked cleanly, and was receptive to my many questions. They left some of the ceiling paint for me. The final price of the job was exactly what they quoted. Popcorn removal can be very messy but they took time to tarp the whole house to protect the furniture and floors. They left the house clean and put back together. I have already recommended them to a couple neighbors and friends.

This was a very messy and labor intensive job. They cleaned up and removed all plastic covering daily before they departed at the end of each workday. The next day, clean coverings were laid out. This was their routine every day that they were here. They also checked with us before they departed to see if there was anything else that we wanted them to do. It was so gratifying to see craftsmen who took such pride in their work and to see that perfection was their only acceptable standard. Our house now looks better than when it was new in 1985. We are entirely satisfied with their expertise--their crews and their employers, Jacquie Gilgallon and Clayton Olesen. If you want perfection at an affordable cost, use Textures by Blue Sky, Inc.

It's a pleasant surprise when a contractor actually does what they say they are going to do and when they're going to do it. Blue Sky exceeded our expectations. Luis and his crew were punctual and professional. We couldn't be happier with their work. They removed the popcorn ceiling from our master bedroom, great room and dining room. VERY messy job and you'd never know they were there after. We were shocked. We would recommend them again without hesitation and will be calling on them to finish the rest of our house. Thanks!

We first had our ceilings done and the crew did an excellent job. We had them come back to do interior painting and it turned out fantastic. At the beginning of the interior painting, we weren't so sure we were going to get the desired outcome. Our correspondence with Clay gave us some reassurance. He was very thorough and straightforward in his communication. They did a ton of work and it turned out awesome. Walberto and Luis's crews took the time with great attention to detail to get the result we wanted. They did a lot of small extras to achieve the result we were looking for. They painted walls, closets, baseboards and doors. Our home went from a 1970's wood interior to an updated fresh look. Clay was fair with the price, and his crews delivered an outstanding product. The office staff was timely and patient in answering all of our concerns. They will be back for future projects. We will hire them again without hesitation. We cannot say enough good things about this company, and we are selective in our hiring of contractors. We love our freshly updated home.

I contact Textures by Blue Sky via email on their website. On their website is a youtube video explaining the process. This was helpful in my choice because it showed exactly how they would prep the area before the work began. Jacquie phoned immediately but spoke to my son as I was not home. She also sent an email detailing the phone conversation and information. I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. She was on time, if not early. I explained the work we needed done and also requested a quote for the remaining ceiling to be completed at another time and an estimate for the entire house. We decide to have just the 3 rooms done at this time. I was so tempted to do the entire house because I thought the price including painting was so reasonable. We received an email that had attachments with directions on our responsibilities to prep the rooms and what to expect on completion of the job. On the day of the job the workers arrived between 8:00 and 8:30 as we expected. I walked through with the lead and we discussed each room. Then they got to work. All I can say is WOW! Each room was encased with plastic. On the walls, over the furniture and even in the doorway to keep dust at a minimum. All the fans and light fixtures were covered and the vents were removed. They finished the knockdown application around 12:30. I called the company told them I had walked through the job, made payment and the workers were getting ready to leave. The painting would be taking place 2 days later. The painters arrived between 8:00 and 8:30. We walked through the rooms again and they got to work. Covering floors, walls and doorways again. They painted the ceilings, the vents and touched up the walls with the original paint that I supplied. They finished up around 11:30. They also left a large amount of the ceiling paint for our future use. I was not home when they finished up, my son was. I was happy as I walked through each room and can't wait to finish the rest of the house. The ceilings look amazing and there is virtually no clean up!! Blue Sky Textures was one of the best companies I've worked with. Very professional and work was done exactly as promised!
