Initial conversations by email and phone with Dianne were helpful in clarifying work to be done and Blue Skies availability and costs. Crew arrived on time. Supervisor Luis walked through to make sure areas were prepped. Crew immediately got to work. We found them to be professional, respectful, efficient. Left work areas very clean.

We had Clay from Textures by Blue Sky come out to give us an estimate on some wall texture work we need done. He spent about 5 minutes with my husband looking at the potential project. He seemed extremely disinterested and almost annoyed to be at our house. We then received the following email from Clay. Just FYI do not waste his time. Giving a customer an estimate means business is guaranteed to them and the customer is never allowed to get a quote on a different project - per Clay at Textures by Blue Sky. Avoid yourself the hassle in having to deal with this company!!! Dear Sir : I came out to your house in early 2015 for an estimate and no one was home. We then rescheduled your estimate for May. I walked the job with you and went over lots of work, of which you did not do any of. You have now called me out for a third trip to do another estimate for which I don't feel I have any shot at winning. I know this as you have also called several of my competitors to bid on this job as well. I am not going to bother spending my time to provide an estimate for which I have not shot of winning. I appreciate the fact your a first responder your service, and I feel bad about the fact of no-bidding. It went great! They were a pleasure to deal with and one of the best bunch of contractors I have had in my home. Their price was right, they did what they said they'd do, they didn't leave a mess, they were on time & worked quickly. They even painted my a/c vents to match the ceiling paint. I wish every contractor was like this one. I would definitely use again.

All went very well. The crew was here on time and completed in a timely manner. And all work was completed to my satisfaction and they cleaned up after themselves very well.

They did a really good job. They put plastic down and covered all the ceiling fans and chandeliers. There was no mess, they cleaned it up perfectly before they left. The workers were really good. I have already recommended them to family.

The repair job was done in a timely basis. The worker took great care in protecting the area where the work was being done, very professional workers. One can hardly tell where the repair was made.

If you decide to hire a company to remove popcorn from your house you would be negligent if you did not contact this company for a quote. They came on a Saturday at my request, brought 6 people, and had 1400 sq ft done in about 6.5 hours. When they were done there was barely any mess to clean up. I was expecting dust all over my house and plaster randomly on the floor or walls. There was none. They hit it and hit it hard. They were polite, on time, and not one mistake. They are definitely completing the remainder of my home. Do not be put off by the previous comments of quotes by email or tape. The email system, although tedious if you have a lot of questions, works quick and is upfront. The tape, well it pulled a little from my paint at the top but I would much rather the plastic stick to the walls then get plaster or paint everywhere. My interior had 12 year old paint so I expected a tiny bit of that. I am telling you these guys are good if you want it done quick and for a fair price.

Found this company online and we're impressed by reviews on this site and others. They were able to schedule our project quickly and price estimate was very reasonable. Crew arrived promptly and were extremely professional in demeanor and appearance. They completed our job in one day and were very conscientious about protecting our walks, floors and furnishings during this often messy project. They even covered our driveway to prevent a mess outside. They cleaned up everything including floors and counters at the completion of the project. I would definitely recommend Textures by Blue Sky to anyone. They were efficient, competent and courteous.

The crew gave an appreciated "head's up" when en route and arrived on time. They went over the process thoroughly with me and proceeded to get to work. The crew arrived when they where suppose to and immediately went to work. Very professional. They created a plastic sheet cocoon in every room and sealed walkways between all the rooms worked on, through the room not touched.. Cleaned up beautifully. Finished in less time than scheduled, scheduled for 8 finished in 5.. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who needs popcorn removed and ceilings painted....

This company was outstanding. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way and arrived right on time. Place plastic over all the walls, down the hall to our garage, covered the garage floor and even covered our driveway. Removed the popcorn from the ceiling, continued with knockdown plaster and then removed all the plastic. Upon completion swept up all pieces of popcorn and wiped my dressing area wood floor with towels. The job was completed in 2 hours as promised. The workmen were very professional and very polite. I would recommend to anyone looking for a professional company that knows their product/business. Great Job!!!

They were very punctual and they were careful to cover all surfaces, however, the walls were either inadvertently painted or whatever tape they used to tape the wall covering on the walls with removed the paint on the walls. The ceiling looks great, though. I will have to paint the whole house now because of the damage to the paint.

They arrived as scheduled and went right to work. Covered all walls, ceiling fans, floors, furniture, doorways and pathways in plastic and went to work removing the "popcorn". Later in the day, additional staff arrived to apply the new texture. When this was completed, they removed all of the plastic and rolled it up containing all the debris, taped it tightly and took it with them. They also swept up any loose debris on the uncovered floors and put all furniture back where it was when they arrived. I was very pleased with the job and would use them again.

From my first contact with Dianne, I have had nothing but an extraordinary experience. The crew was there 5 minutes prior to our scheduled time. Each crew member greeted me kindly and explained the process and how long it would take. They were done when they said they would be. It cost what they originally quoted me (no hidden fees). In the process of renovating our house my wife and I decided at the last minute to have the popcorn removed and knockdown installed. I was referred to Textures by Blue Sky by my neighbor. I called Dianne and explained my situation and with in a week I had the popcorn removed and knockdown installed and painted. Michael and his crew were very professional and made sure that the few pieces of furniture we had were wrapped and covered even the floor. I'm not sure of the gentlemen's name but he made sure the seams to the new addition and the skylight we had removed disappeared and before they left, it was all cleaned up. The entire experience from the initial phone call to Dianne, the crew working and follow up email questions with Clay made this part of the renovation very easy. These guys were great to work with and I will highly recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks for a job well done. The ceiling looks great!! Bob Vereb

The contractor provided great communication prior to the job start. The crew arrived on time and walked through was completed soon after any and all questions I had were addressed. Louis and his crew preformed a great job with virtually zero mess which was amazing to me, givien the messy nature of the removal process. Job was completed a head of schedule. My expectations were pleasantly exceeded as the process was smooth as it was portrayed in their preparation video.

I called for an estimate and was very pleased to receive the estimate quickly via e-mail. The job was scheduled and the workers did an excellent job removing the popcorn ceiling and applying knockdown texture. The job was completed in one day. We also scheduled painting for the knockdown and again, the workers did an excellent job completed in one day. They cleaned up everything. My only disappointment is that I also scheduled drywall repair and was later sent an e-mail stating that date was no longer available (even though we scheduled it on the phone) but they could come the following week. It appears that even though you schedule the time, they still want a reply via email. I don't see the need to confirm twice. I understand that the company's priority is the job bringing them more money. We had scheduled time off from work, a delivery on the same day, and this was very inconvenient.

I just wanted to thank Clay and Dianne and the whole Blue Sky Textures team for the great work their company provided. Their team is fast, efficient and very good at what they do for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend their company for someone who needs their types of services.

We have been debating popcorn removal for almost 3 years. The thought of the mess has always kept us from taking on the job. We are about to put in a new kitchen so we figured now was the time. We went with Blue Sky because popcorn removal is what they do. I am so impressed with the whole process. I watched the video on prep and what to expect and when they guys showed up the morning of the job it went better than I could have imagined. I was super impressed with the work and how well the ceiling looked, even before paint, and the fact that they had about 8 guys working it and did every ceiling in our 2 story, 2200 sqft home in about 6 hours start to finish. However the part that impressed me the most was how clean they left our home. The guys took so much care to make sure they worked clean and kept my home in good shape. I was truly amazed at how much they showed they cared about their quality and their customers. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone needing popcorn removal. On a side note, these guys are working in your home with no AC and what is essentially a giant plastic bag, in what for us was temperatures well into the 90's, so it doesn't hurt to leave a cooler with some cold drinks for them outside.

The workers arrived right on time. Everything was done as it was described and the workers finished at the time designated. The workers cleaned up after themselves and left absolutely NO mess. These guys were GREAT!!

When scheduling the work, I spoke to Brenda and mentioned that I had found them through Angie's List and mentioned that their add included a 5% discount to Angie's members. She said that was correct. We scheduled the work on 2 separate days, to allow the texture to dry before painting with a finish coat of paint and then caulk. The total was $1150.00 and then the 5% discount of $57.50. When the work was done on the first day, they presented an invoice for $900.00 which we paid. Then the 2nd day an invoice was presented at the end of the painting. I had left my husband with a check and the crew presented an invoice for $250.00 which he paid. Upon arriving home, I realized that we had not received the $57.50 discount. I immediately called Brenda. She said that she would send us a VISA gift card for the difference, even tho' we forgot to mention it when we paid the crew. But, I had mentioned it clearly to her when I scheduled the service. WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE GIFT CARD, even though I have called Brenda 2-3 times and left a message that we have not received the credit. Other than that, the work was great, and the crew was very professional. See below comments: Very professional, arrived promptly on first day. Lined all the walls and floor with plastic sheeting to avoid getting spills etc. All work was done quickly and well. They removed all existing popcorn, and re-taped some of the seams that were sagging. Then applied texture. The 2nd day the crew was a little late, but painted the ceiling with a Kilz ceiling paint and then caulked the edges. All went well as far as the actual work- we have no complaints with that portion. I would change my report to all A's if and when I get my promised discount of 5%- or $57.50 dollars.
