TECHNI-POOLS

I called several local companies who all wanted $95 just to come out and give me an estimate. Any parts and labor would be above and beyond the cost of the $95 estimate. I had contacted Techni-Pools and left a message and asked them to return my call. When they called back I spoke with Andres who indicated he was in the area and would be happy to take a look at it with no initial charge for an estimate. I told him I was at work that day, however this was not a problem for him. I gave him my address and he went out and looked at the pool and called me with an estimate to repair. He indicated he had the parts on his truck and could repair the heater that same day. He also mentioned that I have an actuator valve that is not working properly. I was not even asking for anything additional, but I am glad he pointed it out. I knew the actuator was not working prior to him mentioning it, he even gave me an estimate to repair the actuator at a later date. I took my lunch break from work and went home so I could inspect the work performed and also to pay. This is the first pool I have owned and was with the house when I bought it. When I got home, the heater was already repaired. Andres showed me how to properly use the heater, gave me some tips for keeping in operating condition. I asked him several questions not related to the repair that he performed that day. He answered all of my questions with a smile and told me any time I had any issues to give them a call. I feel that Andres and Techni-Pools went above and beyond. They did not charge for an estimate when all other companies were charging. I was satisfied with the price that was charged, the speed of the repair and the professionalism of this company. As long as Techni-Pools is in business they will be my go to pool company for future repairs that I may need. Thank you Techni-Pools. Thank you Andres.

Techni-Pools service was part of a package I received from Premier Pools for a pool re-surfacing. The guys from Techni-Pools were great. They are very experienced and my pool looks fantastic.

THIS WAS A DISASTER--STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND ITS OWNER, ANDRES. BASED UPON MY DEALINGS WITH THEM, I AM OF THE OPINION THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, AND MISREPRESENT THEIR SERVICES AND ABILITIES. When the pool patched failed after the third attempt, I called the owner, Andres, repeatedly; he never returned my calls. I continued to add chemicals to the pool and scrub it, but eventually it turned green again from lack of circulation. I called the person who recommended this company, someone who used him commercially, and after this person brought pressure to bear, weeks after I first called, Andres called. He said that he never agreed to patch the pool light--this despite the fact that his invoice clearly states that he "[plugged] spa light niche." He said he wasn't qualified to plug the leak--again, despite the entry on the invoice that stated he he had done so. When I asked him why I would higher a person unqualified to carry out this expensive repair, he stated. "I don't know, I'm not you." He was arrogant, and when I tried to speak, he just spoke over me. Now I'm left with a green pool, leaking light, and the need to get someone in who is competent to carry out the job. AGAIN--BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIM AND HIS COMPANY--STAY AWAY FROM TECHNI-POOLS AND ITS OWNER, ANDRES--THEY MISREPRESENT THEIR SERVICES, AND ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
