They did a great job. Connie is a little grumpy, but she knows everything about the marble on their lot. If you are looking for a small piece for a table top then they are the place to go. We also tried ADP, but they didn't have what we wanted and the price was very high (they have a $500 minimum to cut remnants). ADP recommended Stone Crazy. Much better price and their work was great.

I want to say Stone Crazy had a hiccup with the faucet placements, were very responsive and courteous, and remidied the situation and I'm 💯 satisfied. Unfortunately, all I can rate them highly on is responsiveness. There was a complete lack of a "customer first" attitude and I'm left facing additional construction and have to compromise on the end product. I am not new to the building nor remodeling process and would not recommend Stone Crazy.

the initial install went well, except one smaller piece of granite was not supported properly. it fell and broke. the replacement turned out to be a nightmare. they were initially responsive, but missed the first appointment to replace it. i tried for three weeks to get them to come out and finish this.when the guys came to do the job, they didnt pay attention to what they were doing. they yanked the gas grill out so hard they cut the power cord, because they failed to unplug it. they never said a word about it. imagine my frustration when i go to use the grill (with guests of course) and the grill wont lite. very disappointed in their professionalism. had they told me, i could have had it fixed. had they unplugged it in the first place, there would not have been an issue.

I called and spoke with Connie at length about my needs; sent her a follow up email and included drawings and measurements. I never received a response so, giving her the benefit of the doubt, followed up again x2. I guess they did not want my business. I thought it inconsiderate and unprofessional to not offer the courtesy of a reply. I would not consider them for any future projects.

Horrible experience. I called Jake at least 10 times. He kept telling me he was busy and would get back to me. Never returned my calls. Finally the last time I had him on the phone I reminded him he had promised to get back to me he started yelling at me and told me to fire him and hung up. He is rude, crude and very unprofessional. As a builder of homes and a previous customer I found it hard to believe he treats people like this. As a footnote I called Majestic Marble and had my top replaced and received great service.
Description of Work: Originally had my whole house done with these people in 2006. Our bar broke due to an accident and we needed it replaced with a new top.

Fabrication work performed per template. Requires two visits - one to template, one to install. Prion is open to visit the fabricator to lay out the template against the stone slab. Minor cutting work at our home was required. The supplemental cuts were done inside with a dry saw inside the home. Was cleaning dust for the next week. Sink cutouts in the five foot bathroom vanity were centered over the outer two 24" cabinets. Great for symmetry, but the sinks ended up being too close to the walls on both sides; a person can't center themselves squarely in front of the sink. It has to be approached at an angle (I'm an 'average' size person at 190 pounds and six feet tall). I feel this discussion should have been initiated up front by the templater. They do this every day and could have counseled us through the sink location thought process. These guys are a money making machine. They've scaled up well and have great internal processes geared for efficiency. Unfortunately, they lack on the follow-up and customer care aspects. It's all about the money. Not the most cost effective game in town, and their 'consulting' (for the money) is a disappointment.

Description of Work: Fabrication and installation of granite kitchen counters, kitchen island, kitchen desk. Work included design, measuring, fabrication and installation of granite and also new sink. All aspects were handled professionally and workmanship was outstanding. I would use them again, and also recommend them to others. When choosing our granite, they didn't have what we wanted, so they assisted with directing us to other suppliers and even provided directions and recommendations. After we bought the granite slabs elsewhere and they were delivered to Stone Crazy, we had the opportunity to approve the layout of the templates on the stone. Overall a great experience with a finished product we love.

On May 5th I called to inquire about having a tabletop made for a kitchen nook we had custom made and installed. I was told to email sales@stonecrazyinc.com as the woman I needed to speak to was with a customer. I did so with some of the details, pictures, drawings and said I needed help with design, overhang, etc... but I had an idea of the material that I wanted to use unless they had a similar remnant etc... I was told I would receive a phone call back to discuss further. I sent the email. The next day I get an email from Connie who was basically clueless as to why I was emailing. I gave her the rough dimensions and she finally called on the 8th three days later. We were having some discussion about samples as we were interested in using Quartz. I told her the brand and color we were most likely to use. I was very specific and asked if she could come out to help and bring this sample and maybe a few others so I could see it in my own home under my own lighting. She insisted that I come in and I said that was not necessary I simply needed some help with design and needed to see it with my granite and lighting. She said she would have a sample of the Quartz sent to the house and to take a look and let her know, she would help with design and dimensions no problem. Fast forward to May 26th and I have still not received any samples in the mail so I call again to ask what the status is. It was clear by the phone call that she had not ordered the samples after our last conversation (she did not admit this). She tells me she cannot find my file that she will look and call me back. Two days go by and I call back again and she says she still cannot find my file... She asked for my information and sent the email that day to the company asking them to send the sample. On June 2nd she emails me the proposal and asks if I recieved the samples. I had received them and was busy until today, June 5th. My wife called and spoke with a woman, not Connie asking to set up the time to have Connie come out and measure and to see if they had anything else similar to bring a few samples but if not no big deal we knew what we wanted. This lady set a time to come on Monday between 9:30-10:30 to go over everything and we would place the order. I quickly get a phone call after she hung up from Connie saying my wife just called and I confirmed. At this point, for the first time, she tells me "I told you the first time we talked I do not come out for tabletops I only come out for kitchens". I said this was the first time she mentioned this and if she had told me this our conversations and relationship would have proceeded very differently. I would have dealt with the correct person from the beginning. She proceeded to argue and be very condescending to me. I told her she was making it very difficult to do business with them and I was rather shocked how she was talking to me. She told me she was not trying to be difficult and I assured her she was being exactly that. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to come in to see everything they had and I said I know what I want and that is not necessary I just needed help with design. She continued to be disrespectful and confrontational and said no I needed to come in and meet with Jake to go over everything could I come in tomorrow and I said that was not possible. I asked how is he going to help us unless he can come out and look at our base and take all the correct measurements. What good is it to go there and talk about it we were ready to order and he would not be able to measure and help with final design if he was not present in our home. She started chuckling quietly as she had been through out the conversation and I inquired when he could come out to meet with us. As I was asking she started whispering to someone. I finished my questioned and waited several more seconds and she continued to converse with someone else. At this point I had enough and hang up the phone. Even after telling her how difficult she was being and reminded her of the fact that she did not order our samples, did not return phone calls, and now was changing her story in the manner in which she would help us, she never tried to be nice, polite, or apologize, nothing! I will be looking elsewhere. I would not recommend them. What terrible sales and customer service. Thank you Stone Crazy for making me wasting a month and my time.

1:Customer service at their location was excellent and went very smoothly. We were very happy with how easy it was to choose the right color. They came the next week and made a template. On the day of installation, they called and said that the granite cracked during the cutting. We rescheduled for another day. They said they would be at our home between 10am and 12pm. By 1:30 pm no one had shown up or called. We called the office and a female told us she would check on it. She called us back a half hour later and said they would be there around 3pm. We feel they should have called us if they were running behind. The installers did a good job and our kitchen looks great.

Apparently those people were not interested in working with me. It is hard to understand how a company can not be interested in providing you with a countertop.I went to meet them early June and decided today not to work with them any longer. I still do not have all the details to decide whether or not it was a good price and details about timing.
Description of Work: I was in contact with Connie. She is completely lacking of responsiveness. It took 6 weeks for her to finally tell me to go and look by myself to some granite wholesalers to find the granite I wanted. Each time she was providing me with a cost estimate it increased of $200, especially after seeing my house.

It was a pleasure working with Jake, Carol, Donna and Stephanie from the start. They have a great selection of granite to choose from, and are extremely knowledgeable about their products. They are very dedicated to the customer and go out of their way to maintain a great working relationship throughout the project span time. We would not hesitate to recommend them, and we will be using them again in the very near future for another home project.

The office management tends to be a little put offish, the sales staff are great. They have on site, every type and color of granite you could want and if you don't like what they have, Crazy Stone will refer you to another store or wholesaler and you can buy there and they will install. We had a installation detail issue (My wife who was not here for installation did not want ANY evidence of the seam at the sink.) The boss came out and worked for an hour and the seam went away. And then apologized for the problem.
Description of Work: Came to the house and measured everything and made templetes for the two major pieces. We had picked out the two slabs of granite that we wanted to use and that is what they used. Cut perfectly and fit in like a hand in glove. Took all day but when two installers are moving that much weight in a very small area, it takes time.
