I could not be more pleased with the results. Mr. Smith worked within my budget and made suggestions slightly changing the kitchen layout that would improve both storage space and workspace. The cabinets themselves are beautiful, of good quality, and were installed professionally. Mr. Smith started the project when he said he would and nearly managed to complete the entire job in just one day. He returned the second day to finish the plumbing, ensure the cabinet doors were properly aligned and make sure all construction debris was hauled away. The plumbing was faultless. Best of all, I have a renter thrilled with her beautiful new kitchen. No complaints here! I would not hesitate to recommend Total Plumbing and Construction. The owner is conscientious, experienced, his workmanship is excellent, and he keeps his promises even if it means he has to go above and beyond to make sure his customer is happy. What more could anyone ask?

I signed up for the $49 bathroom/kitchen design. I thought I would get a design that could be built. What I got was some pictures emailed to me of various showers and vanities.....no quotes, no measurements not even a depiction of what my bathroom would look like completed. VERY unsatisfied and feel as though this was a total waste of money. I already have pictures of tiles/flooring/fixtures that I like what I wanted was someone to put them all together into a new bathroom design.[Submit Feedback]

Awful...I am out $49.00 and will never trust Angie's List again. This is the second company with Big Deal that have been a pain.

I have used Total Plumbing & Construction LLC numerous times ( about 17) on everything from total kitchen and bathroom replacements to roofing and plumbing an entire complex. Each time Jason did a great job. The work he performs is perfectly done. Always starts and finishes by agreed upon date. Great prices. I will use him again and would recommend Total Plumbing & Construction LLC to anyone I know who wants great home remodeling done at a great price!

Could NOT have been worse!! I wish I could give him an F - - (minus, minus). We have renovated 4 houses over the years and this was the absolute worst experience to date by far. Jason was expensive, disrespectful, unprofessional, irrational, unpredictable, unresponsive, untrustworthy, sloppy, tardy and absent. Don't trust the references that he gives you. I liked Jason when I interviewed him, so I checked his references. I checked them and got nothing at all like they described. We found Jason in lie after lie. We honestly think he's a compulsive liar. He would tell me one thing and my husband the exact opposite over and over again even when he knew that we would find out and bring it back to him. An especially big falsehood was that he said he was interfacing repeatedly with Kohler on how to install our tub and shower system: as of this Friday, they had NEVER HEARD of Jason. Both the shower and the tub are installed incorrectly and we are going to have to pay someone hugely to straighten the entire thing out now. (i.e. it clearly says in the manual that there needs to be a dedicated hot water heater for the tub and another one for the steam shower: Jason only installed one.) Keep in mind that Jason is a licensed plumber: after 6 months we don't even have a toilet or sink installed while the fixtures are taking up space in my garage. He missed deadline after deadline. We started in August and still do not have a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The first deadline was Thanksgiving. We had to cancel having family for the holiday due to the mess of the ongoing renovation that Jason was in charge of. Then Christmas was ruined. March is here and we don't have anything usable! My neighbor told me that he saw Jason fishing on our private lake behind our house (without permission) when he was 2-3 months overdue!! I describe this behavior as unprofessional, rude, immature, disrespectful. 90% complete and he ran out of money. He took 3 far-away fishing vacations and got his pilot's license since August: then he began begging us to start paying for materials when he was contracted to do so (we had an allowances-type contract). Jason mismanaged time and money from Day One going from bad to worse. It appears that Jason does not like nor respect women. He rarely answered my calls and texts and always responded to my husband's calls. This was especially troublesome as I was the one in charge of this project because my husband travels extensively in his work. Jason never ever checked on his subcontractor's work, even when we asked him to do so. We would show up to look at progress with him (he was ALWAYS LATE) and the subs left garbage everywhere and did not perform the work adequately (i.e. the stucco bands around the windows were supposed to be 5" wide and some were 4" and some were 5" on the front of the house! Jason said he'd get them back out to redo and never did.) A GC that doesn't check work and show up for inspections is not doing a GC's job. He left the job with our key. After repeated requests (via texts, emails and voicemails) from both my husband and ourselves, he has yet to return our key. There are also expensive backordered parts for the shower missing: they went missing off the site directly before Jason quit.) I had to ask Jason to watch how he talked to my kids while he was in their home. He was not nice on more than one occasion. I would NOT refer Jason Smith to any human on the planet, not even my worst enemy. His demeanor makes me wonder if he is a drug user (spastic responses, super short attention span, irritable, aggressive, poor judgement, lying, de-compensating ability to achieve work, difficulty understanding simple concepts). I hope he went bankrupt and is finding another line of work. He does NOT have the mental capacity, sufficient attention span, work ethic nor enough integrity to be successful as a General Contractor. My apologies to his family for this revealing review, but sadly it is all true. I want this to be a warning: I do not want anyone to suffer as we have done for the past 6 months. We are left to pick up the pieces and do our best to somehow get our home whole again with the pennies we have left. Our experience with Jason was a nightmare!

It wasn't an easy job and there were some tricky issues. He is very good at troubleshooting difficult situations. My relationship with these guys is usually over the phone but I was impressed when I went out and saw them working at the actual job. All their guys had professional uniforms and you wouldn’t expect that from somebody doing plumbing work. They had a very nice van with a logo on the side and all the tools in the van. All his employees were very friendly and didn't work like grafters. I would definitely trust this company if I was like a young woman with no husband and I wanted somebody that I could really trust to come out and do my house. They seem like good people and not some dirtball up the street. He is not the cheapest guy but you get what you pay for but I don't mind spending the extra money because I know that they are going to do the work correctly.

The overall experience was very good. We had our master bathroom remodeled by another company that took entirely too long. In choosing Jason's company one of the priorities was completing the bathroom in a reasonable amount of time. He worked around our schedule and finished right on time. The quality of workmanship was great and his contractors were professional.

I spent about $3000 on the last service. I would tell other members that they are fantastic in every sense of the word. It has been the 15th time I used the guy and every time has been a pleasure.

We run a property management company and had several other vendors not show up to do work. I called Total Plumbing and spoke with Jason, and he addressed our problems within 24 hours. We have used them for several jobs and would continue to use their services.

Handled the whole job like a complete professional. Job was finished early and came out perfectly. Used quality materials that matched well together.Did exactly what he said he was going to do, plus! Excellent contractor. I would use again without hesitating. A+++++

It went as well as any job I have ever done. Jason was a total professional. From the time we signed contract he started work the next day as promised.All work done was perfect and efficiently priced.This was a 4-family unit and he coordinated the whole job for me including deliveries.I would have no problem using him again or recommending him to anyone I know.If you are looking for a great contractor who can deliver what he says, look no further.
