+ -1 moreI have floors in my home that have not be refinished for 30 years. SCS refinished them for us and they are beautiful. They were very conscientious about the fact that we were living in the room that did not need refinishing. They were replacing some boards that we knew were cracked and loose. In the process they discovered some old termite damage. They worked with me to uncover and repair much more than was originally expected. I know that I paid a fair price for the extra work instead of the gouging that I could have had forced on me. The folks who worked on my house were of a nature that earned my trust and my respect for their abilities. I feel that they really delivered on this job. I cannot tell you how pleased I am to be able to write this review!
Description of Work: Refinished hardwood floors and repaired termite damage. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

+ -1 moreIt took alot longer than I expected but I did not want them to rush snd possibly cut corners. I kept on them but work was steadily done Nd I couldn't ask for better. We have used them for engineered hardwood in 2 other homes and they have always done a great job.
Description of Work: Had solid oak hardwood floors installed over plywood. The raw wood was allowed to acclimate for one week then hand stained and voted with 5 coats of sealant. They created a grid of wood in travertine stone, like a checkerboard pattern. Their attention to detail and coordination with the tile installation company was excellent. It looks gorgeous! They were quick to change little things that I did not like and the manager came to the house every time I called.

+ -1 moreON A POSITIVE NOTE, THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE. THE WOOD WAS LOADED INTO MY CAR, AND WHEN THE INSTALLERS CAME THEY OPENED THE BOX TO FIND THE WRONG WOOD (WASTE OF EVERYONES TIME)! THEY NEVER CHECKED THE BOX TO ENSURE THE CORRECT PRODUCT. THEN THEY REORDERED THE WOOD, BUT I THEN HAD TO WAIT FOUR OR FIVE WEEKS. WE LIVED ON CONCRETE FLOOR WITH FURNITURE SCATTERED AROUND THE HOUSE. THERE WAS NO DISCOUNT OFFERED FOR MY TROUBLES!
Description of Work: I PURCHASED WOOD. THEY DID NOT INSTALL OR DELIVER. I ONLY PURCHASED THE WOOD BECAUSE THEY PROMISED THEY COULD ORDER MY REQUESTED BRAND AND COLOR TO MATCH EXISTING WOOD IN MY HOME.

+ -1 moreSCS HARDWOOD OFFERED A WIDE SELECTION AND HELPED US MATCH EXISTING FLOOR. THE WORK TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED AND THEY HAD TO RETURN TO CORRECT AN ERROR ON THE LANDING.
