Sam's Express Delivery

Worse move ever. Brought truck that was too small; took 3 times as long to pack and then was delayed because the truck was overweight and some of my belongings moved to a 2nd truck at the weigh station. Movers are not the movers in the advertisement card. They came in and started blaring music... They stood at the end of my driveway, "F*ck this, f*cking that..." loudly. I saw the kitchen chairs that I saved for and kept covered when I sat on them sitting in my driveway with two movers sitting in them with their shirts off--it's Florida, it's hot, people sweat, but please not in my chairs. No respect for property. Art work on my neighbors lawn. At least 80% of my furniture has damage. Not kidding. Terrible movers. There is so much more. There are enough movers in Orlando. Don't make the mistake I made...WORSE MOVERS EVER. FIVE MONTHS LATER: I keep on finding damaged and broken furniture. Really, move your belongings in a horse drawn wagon before you let these guys move you

move I moved recently from Ormond Beach to Tampa using Sam’s Express movers! I can’t tell you how wonderful they were from the moment of first contact when Scott came to give me an estimate for the move. They moved my baby grand piano and knew exactly how to handle it and pack it up with not a scratch upon arrival! I was very impressed with the care they took as they handled everything. The men were extremely experienced and went to great lengths to get my furniture on a long carry from my condo to the van! They even had to move a large piece over the railing to the first floor that wouldn’t fit in the elevator! The service was FANTASTIC from Sam's Express Moving and Delivery Company. Scott came over to give me a quote. He was very thorough and took his time, he even gave me excellent suggestions. Just in my conversations with him, I knew I could trust this company. He made me feel very comfortable, he explained the entire process. He was available anytime I had a question and would revise my quote anytime I made changes. The movers were excellent. They were very careful with all of my belongings and would make sure to ask me questions so they wouldn't confuse the items going to storage with the items going to my new destination. They wrapped all of my stuff very carefully, nothing was broken or damaged. They were very punctual. They worked well and efficient as a team. Once we arrived to my new home, they brought in all the boxes and placed them in the appropriate areas to make my unpacking move along smoother. Everything arrived as packed with no damages. This company is also providing storage for me so I do not have to worry about items that do not fit in my new place. I highly recommend Sam's Express Moving and Delivery for all of your packing, moving and storage needs! I had a wonderful experience!

They were fantastic. Andrew and Luis picked up my furniture, Daryle had arranged to have my furniture stored and Andrew and Luis delivered on the date I needed. Scott kept me inform as to when they would be arriving. I have used Sam's Express for many years and have always been pleased with their service. They have never lost or broken anything. I knew from the beginning what my rate was going to be and the price was so very reasonable for all they had to do. I recommend Sam's Express without hesitation. I will definitely use them on my next move.

I didn't even speak with anyone at the company, seems they hung up on me 3 times when I called. Just picked the phone up and put down the receiver. I thought maybe it was an accident the first time but the next 2 calls were evident they didn't want my business. If they can't speak to me on the phone, I can't imagine their service would be much better.

They returned my call and gave me a very reasonable quote for the expected services. I found them to be very professional and courteous. They took care to explain the process completely and we made an appointment date and time. On that day they arrived on time and were very fast and efficient with the move. All my concerns about my property and valuables were addressed and They handled my property as if it were their own. By all means I would use this company again.

Owner is responsive and professional. The workers with him were nice as well. They were prompt. The price is reasonable too. I only rated some areas low because I noticed after the fact that we were missing a jug full of change and another type piggy bank my daughter has been saving. I know I placed it by the foyer at the old house and we returned after the move, it was not where I left them. And I know I placed it there since my daughter planned on putting in the bank. I don't have proof but the movers were the only ones there. I hesitate to accuse but those containers full of change are nowhere to be found. One of those workers had to have taken it. That amount taken was about $250.

We solicited estimates from three highly rated movers on Angie's List. Scott W. called us back right away and provided a rough estimate over the phone and followed up with a written estimate after we provided a listing of the major items to be moved. When speaking with him, he listened carefully to what our needs were and asked the right questions to determine the cost. We did receive estimates from the other two firms, but felt that Scott had the best proposal. We tentatively scheduled a date for the move, which was dependent on having a successful inspection and appraisal on our current home. Once this was complete, we confirmed the date with Scott. He told us that we would receive a phone call the day before to confirm the time and this took place as described. The moving team was scheduled to arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 AM. They arrived early at 8:25 AM. After introducing the team, the team leader, Tim, asked me to show him around our home so that he had an idea of the scope of the job while the other members of the team, Andrew and Jason started making preparations. After we completed this the team got right to work. Our current home is a two story and we had two bedrooms full of furniture on the second floor. The furniture in the second floor master bedroom was oak and several pieces were large and very heavy. While I would not say they handled them with ease, because it was quite a struggle getting them down the stairs, they did handle them with no damage to either the furniture or the stairs. The team worked quickly, but carefully, thoroughly padding all furniture prior to moving it out of the home and into the truck. Upholstered furniture was both padded and shrink wrapped to keep it clean. The team was friendly, courteous, very customer service oriented, and worked continuously even though it was a typical hot and humid Florida day. They filled a 26 foot truck by approximately noon and immediately departed for Lakeland. They arrived in Lakeland about 1:00 PM and while we showed Tim around the new home and gave him an idea of what items would go in what rooms, Jason and Andrew began unloading. The unpacking and unloading process went somewhat quicker than loading. The team worked tirelessly to get each item in its designated place, even though they were interrupted by a brief thunderstorm . They reassembled any items that had to be taken apart for the move and put them in place. This process went smoothly and they were able to complete the job around 3:45. To our surprise, final cost was actually less than the original estimate. We would highly recommend Sam's for your moving needs. We could not have asked for a more careful, professional, courteous team. We highly commend Tim, Jason and Andrew for the job they did for us.

On moving day the movers showed up and did a very professional job of wrapping my items and loading the truck. They headed straight to my new home and were pretty accommodating to my needs. All my furniture was placed and assembled where I wanted and all my boxes were left where I needed. I dont think they are in Miami but will definitely use them again if they are available here. They have clean equipment, well educated and accommodating staff and pretty decent pricing.

First off, we had another company cancel on us last minute and were pretty desperate to hire a mover on a Saturday. It was slim pickens out there on a last minute move and Sams Express was on of the very few that even returned my call. The sales person told me it was just too late to get a cfew out there on the same day. But to my surprise, they set my move up for Sunday!. I did kind of have low expectations based on the fact that we were last minute, and on a Sunday no less.The crew from Sams Express was extremely energetic and professsional. I can't be sure that the owner was part of the crew. Regardless, they did an amazing job and am quite thankful for their willingness to help out on such short notice. The move was completed quickly and the only negative is that they couldn't take a personal check as payment, but i just ended up using a credit card. Thank you Tim, Drew, and Jorge for moving my home!. Thumbs up!!

Mother-in-law very nervous about her things surviving the move. Sam and his helper were so nice an reassured her that all would be okay and it was. They were on time and preformed the work as agreed on. We are planning on using them again

They said they would arrive between 9:30-10 AM and they were here at 9:35 AM so as promised. The move was done by Jorge and Tim. Both did a professional job and loaded the POD with precision to take advantage of every inch of space. Some of the furniture moved around was very large and bulky and I felt they did a great job taking care of the items moved and out home. Very professional job. I plan on using them for the rest of the household when we close on the sold home and close on the new home on the gulf.

My appliances were dented, my new King size bed frame was gouged and scratched, they poked a hole in my new sofa. I have called twice and left a message and no response. This company has gone down hill fast. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and it looks like I will have to stop payment on the Credit Card or file a law suit to get any satisfaction. They claim they are bonded and insured, but unless you read the fine print and buy their move insurance they will screw you out of everything their monkeys destroy! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This whole affair gets worse by the day. Bad enough that they damaged my property, but now they are trying to lie about it. I guess this idiot has never heard of the court system. Now I have to sue this this clown because he is a flat out liar. I have witnesses that saw the damage that happened on many of my items and this clown was to try and blow me off for $75 !

Excellent care was taken with our belongings and they moved fast and efficient! Jorge and his staff Tim, Andrew and Robert were a pleasure to work with and they worked very well together! They were my 3rd moving company for this move from another town and into storage and Sam's Express Delivery was the best overall!

They were here June of 2015. It was probably like $3000 or something like that. They broke bunch of our stuff and it wasn't anything that maybe we didn't expect to break, it wasn't amazingly tough furniture but they didn't wrap anything and stuff like that so they probably could have taken more precaution.

It was a great experience. The movers called me to make sure we worked out the details (time, etc.), once we agreed upon a specific date and time, they called to remind me and provided a 30 minute window for arrival. They were right on time and went in to inspect the move and got busy right away. They were very careful moving everything and worked very fast. The delivery went without a hitch and I did not have to pay anything extra (time was enough) even though they had the option to pay extra if the move run longer than agreed. They really don't play around, they get busy to work. I liked their professionalism and the way the whole thing was handled from beginning to end. Deserve an A+ really.

The movers arrived on time and were able to move all of our heavy furniture from our storage unit and the house we were staying in in less than 2 hours. The complete move took about 3 hours. All of the guys worked hard and were professional. Would use them again!

The guys were excellent. They immediately got to work and worked hard. They were very professional. My furniture was all wrapped and even though it was misting by the time we got to my new house, there was no damage to any furniture. They were very efficient and got the move done in the 3 hours we scheduled. I would definitely hire again.

They were on time. 3 men. Worked efficiently. Didn't small talk or complain. We scheduled for 3 hours, went over by 2 hours. But they had to make two trips. Overall, we feel happy with the service.
