The new HVAC system was not as efficient as advertised. Several technicians came out, and finally the President, Hector Rebollo came out. Mr. Rebollo spent a great deal of time and explain exactly what would be done. I have had ProTech service for the past six years and have always found them to be punctual and professional. To have the President come out and be personally involved is impressive. No complaints from me - only praise.

They gave me a time frame between 2 to 5. When they didn't show up, I called them and they said it would be closer to 6:30 to 7 PM. They finally arrived at that time and they looked at the air conditioner in the garage. It seemed to be okay. They were supposed to crawl into the attic according to the deal I bought and he said he would charge me $199 to go up there. I got very upset and the technician called the office. He would not go up there so I would never recommend them to anyone.

It was a little pricey. Since that time, we have had our A/C under a warranty, so we haven't had to make any calls. It was one of those critical times, where the heat and humidity was at it's highest and they resolved the situation. I would definitely use them again.

They came out and diagnosed the problem and explained it really well. However when quoted for a new unit the price was unbelievable when comparing to other companies in the area. Would definitely hire again for diagnosis and repairs, but I wouldn't do a full system install unless the price dropped (It is also partly because they use Trane and those units run expensive).

We are currently under a contract. There is usually one person that come out to do the work and it takes about an hour. The best part of them doing the work is that they come out, do it and do it right. I would tell my friends and family that they do a really good job; they are reliable.

He was great. They charged me for coming out, but that was fine. I don't think their price for that was out of line. I said the parts are under warranty. Everything was under warranty and they were going to charge me $700 to install it. I got the parts myself and I had a friend of mine put it in for free. First they told me they are going to put it in for $800-something so that was a bit much, and then they came down to $750 and I wouldn't budge from there. I have a friend of mine that is in the A/C industry and they told me it should be more like $250-300 for the job so I didn't have them do any other work. They diagnosed it. I was able to get the parts. Their price was insane. The fee for coming out was fine. I don't think that was out of line. I think that was right because that was what I was told. They can't just have their technicians coming out and doing work for free. I was fine with what they charged for that. Installing the parts that were covered under warranty, they were going to get paid by the manufacturer. It wasn't like there was any money out of their pocket.

They gave me a lot of recommendations. My savings on my electric bill is tremendous. They went above and beyond and they put a new thick slab down where my outside unit was and it helped. I wished I could give them an A+.

I called these guys to service my old A/C unit, which they did, but they also noted that my A/C was very old and in pretty bad shape; so I negotiated to purchase a new system from them. I've had this company service and install my old A/C units (I have two in the house) for over twenty years. They are very professional and reliable. I don't think they are the least expensive, but I trust them to do a good job and to stand behind their work. In this case they installed the new system in one day and it has been working great since then. They arranged the inspection with the local city (although I had to call to remind them) and submitted the rebate forms to the power company. All in all it was a good job with no surprises.

We were provided an estimate for a new A/C system. I was impressed with the presentation, with the service / product to be provided, and the price for same. We have not installed a new system yet but I would be very much inclined to use.

Good service. Called prior to arrival. Arrived within 30 minutes of that call. Found problem and replaced parts. Had cool air again ! Tech did recommend additional service and service agreement. All in all I am happy with the service and would call again when necessary.

Pro-Tech was terrific. Would highly recommend. Found the problem. We had recently had the unit serviced by another a/c company and they didn't do a very thorough job.

After having another company tell us we needed to spend $3500.00 to repair our system we decided to obtain some estimates to replace the whole system. The gentleman from Pro-Tech who came suggested we first have one of their technicians inspect the system just to be sure it couldn't be repaired. The tech was very professional and determined our problem in a very short time and the a/c has been working ever since. He was also very helpful in giving us advice about maintaining the system in between tune-ups.

The man - Paul Dunlop - showed up 15 minutes early to the appointment! He was thorough and considerate of the property. He was understanding and patient as we asked questions and made sure we were happy before he left. He really went the extra mile to make sure everything was done efficiently and correctly, but didn't do more than necessary or try to up-sell us. We were very impressed and would certainly request his services again when and if we needed it!

The system was purchsed in 12/10. We purchased the annual maintenance agreement and the company had serviced the unit twice a year since then. We had been happy with the service. The last maintenanvce visit was 4/13. In early June we discovered a leak. The technician came back out for a diagnostic charge of $89. He discovered a small leak in the drain pan and did a tempoary fix and told us the office would get back with us the next day. We were advised they would cover the cost of the part but we would be responsible for the labor --$770 for approxiamately 3 hours work. When questioned why it would cost much, we were told they would also have to do some paperwork that would take time. We contacted another provider who advised the part would be $27. We were charged a total of $450 for the repair.

They came and went in and out of the house. They go to the unit and pretend to work on the unit when all i need is for them to add the freezeon liquid. then they tell me that the system is old and they need to do an expensive overhaul of the system. I cant afford that.

We had no air conditioning. The tech checked out our system and said the disconnect was the problem so he replaced it. He wanted $292 for this job which took maybe 20 minutes. The part is less than $100, probably even under $50 but the receipt gives no break down on parts vs. labor. Then he discovered the fan motor was burned out. For this job he wanted $600. All this in addition to the $89 diagnostic charge. We declined to have him replace the motor and negotiated away the $89 charge and just paid the $300. I ordered the exact Trane motor for my system online for $140 and a new capacitor ($5) just to be safe and had them installed in about 25 leisurely minutes by an HEVAC tech acquaintance who had been out of town during the initial system breakdown. Cost- $100. The labor charges charged by Pro-tech are that of a high priced lawyer!

I was very impressed with his service. I hope to not need him again any time soon, but when we have further needs we know who to call. He also put covers over his feet to protect our home.

We had used them for our previous home and we used them again. The last visit before this estimate I had paid them $274 for some service. They had two guys come out to check out my home.

Everything was great. I called around 7:30 AM and was told someone could be out between 1:00 - 4:00. I received a call a couple of hours later saying they had a cancellation and could get someone out in 30 minutes. They arrived 30 minutes later and fixed the issue with my heat.

I was happy with their service and they come out essentially the same day I call them. I will use them again in the future.

I would give them an A rating. I've never had a problem with them and they have been here a handful of times over the years. They are professional.

At each visit technicians are thorough with their inspection and maintenance activities during the semi-annual checks.

They man who came out was able to take the time to repair it and get it working. He was neat and clean.
