After the technician took a look at my AC which had stopped running, I was informed that I had a bad wire between my thermostat and unit and that it would cost me $1,350 to repair. Worst of all, they did not fix it on the spot, or offer a temporary solution, they instead told me to call their dispatch the following day to hopefully get it fixed the next evening. They also seemed more interested in upselling me to get their monthly subscription service or to upgrade to a nest thermostat (which they quoted at $735... which would mean they charge about $400 for less than an hour of labor on a $300 thermostat). I called to get a second opinion and someone came out that day and told me my drip pan was full and that was the issue. They charged me $150 for the service call and to drain/unclog my unit and they were on my way. The drip pan should be one of the first things checked for any person who knows how to repair an AC unit. That leaves me with two lines of reasoning: 1) the technician who looked at my AC unit was incompetent enough to not even check my drip pan and guessed at what could be the issue, or 2) saw that it was the drip pan, tried to point the issue somewhere else to force me to spend an exorbitant amount of money for a simple solution without me never knowing otherwise. Both are terrible, and the more likely one is fraudulent. Do not invite these people into your home! Many quality AC repair techs will not try and take advantage of you.

Our A/C unit of 27 years died 7/26/2022. Praise the Lord we got our new A/C unit installed today by "Our Place", and so glad we went with this company. We had two very experienced young men named Kareem and Ibn, that did an amazing job removing that old unit and installing our new American Standard. They were here from 10:00 am until 8:30pm couldn't believe how much they had to do? They were so awesome, kind and patient. They told us step by step what they were doing and why. Bought everything up to code. Would highly recommend "Our Place" for all your air & home repairs, just remember to ask for these two guys by name and you will get the best service ever.

The two gentlemen that did the work in my home were professional, very pleasant and respectful. Highly recommend these guys to anyone. I'm new to Florida and I felt comfortable with the entire process.

The ac technician, Chris Chavez, was awesome! He explained everything that was needed, things that would be a problem and provided the cost of repairs. He was clean and courteous and very professional. I was grateful that I could get an ac company to come out on a Saturday evening.

My ac stopped and I called after 6pm expecting to make an appt for at least tomorrow morning. Instead Chris Chavez showed within 2 hrs of my call and gave a very thorough inspection and fixed the problem. Moving forward I'm signing up for their year round service and leaving Simpson air.

Coming home from work to find out your AC isn't working, is the worst! I spoke with Dan to schedule an emergency weekend appointment and was advised Chris could be out within 2 hours and they would not charge us any additional fees for a weekend or emergency appointment. Chris arrived on time, during a pretty bad thunderstorm and went to work. He was very knowledgeable and polite, and had our AC up and running in no time. We were so pleased with his service that we opted to sign up for their Comfort Club package. Our Place Air and Home Repair will be handling all of our AC needs from now on. Thank you, Chris!

Chris Chavez was the service tech and he was knowledgeable, personable and very respectful. The impact is big to learn a new A/C system is needed; Chris walked us through the process and followed up after the install to check install and ensure we were satisfied. The installers, Lester, Andrew and Jeffrey were very pleasant and did a clean job.

We have used this firm for some time and have always been happy with the results. Our most recent experience was no different. The technician, Shaun, arrived on time and was extremely thorough in his maintenance routine. He checked everything diligently, including wiring, filters, ducts, compressor, fans, thermostat and drains - inside and out. Shaun was extremely professional and knows his business. We discussed air distribution and duct work and he explained all I needed to know about the way the air is routed throughout the home. I am confident that he could have solved any issues with our system, had there been any. The guy knows his stuff, for sure. Prompt, Professional and advisory.

After a very thorough inspection of our AC and duct work we decided it was not necessary to clean the ducts at this time. The technician did replace a bulb that had gone out in the system. We appreciated that we were not pushed to complete a bigger job.
