Description of Work: Hired to do yard cleanup for spring, tons of leaves and trimming. Very low quote for the work because they seemed to want to come on longer term. Did an OK job but they weren't really interested in doing the property after all so they kinda did their part and took off.

During the growing season he will come every week, and will cut back to every second week thereafter. I'm happy with the service he provides and would recommend him to others in future.

+ 2 moreI gave Mike a loose schedule on when to start and finish (knowing that I was hitting him in the peak of his busy season). I let him know that I "just wanted the job done right". He assured that the work would be done properly from the beginning. Mike was not the lowest bidder, but his ratings on Angie's List helped me make my decision to go with experience and quality workmanship. I spent (invested) a tidy sum in my yard, and I don't expect to need to do it again for a long time, thanks to Mike's Landscaping.
Description of Work: Removed existing grass/weeds Leveled the top soil Put down quality St. Augustine sod Recommended a good pest/weed/fertilizer service Recommended a good irrigation specialist Removed a dying tree Recommended a low maintenance palm tree and plants for my front beds Put down mulch and pine bark where needed He gave me advice watering schedules, fertilization, weed and pest control and maintenance Mike has my yard looking GREAT. He is an honest and hard working professional who will give you a good price. When he could not get the sod he originally recommended, he lowered the price to me without my asking. He won't sell you what you do not need! I would highly recommend Mike's Landscaping to anyone who wants to improve the appearance of their yard!

+ -1 moreI called him and he came over and gave me an estimate. When I told to go ahead and do the job he responded quickly. He pulled up all the weeds and dead grass on my lawn. It was probably about a week or so before the new sod was placed as I got a letter from home owner's assoc about the bare lot. When he laid the sod, it didn't extend over as much as I would have liked. He said there was still good grass there that would spread,but it left a bare area on the side.
Description of Work: They pulled all the weeds up on my lawn and put new sod down.They didn't extend the sod over as far as I would have liked. He said there was enough good grass left that it would spread. It left the lawn looking a little bare on the one side. He was prompt with his response and came when he said he would.

He seems like a courteous man who wants to get the job done. He gave me a very fair estimate. He was very responsive. I would consider him for another estimate.

+ -1 moreMike does nice work. We first hired him to maintain our residential rental lawn. He was professional and reliable which was important since we were showing the home on a regular basis. We have also used his services to repair broken sprinkler heads at our home residence which we were pleased with. The latest job was trimming a large hedge row & palms. Again, we were quite pleased. Mike is professional, timely, and ensures a nice cleanup after work is completed. We would definitely recommend Mike, and will be using him in the future.
