I am a happy camper. I feel I really got my money's work for all they did.

First and foremost, Bill and his crew where fantastic. Bill first came and saw the house and we came up with a game plan on how to attack it. See this is my first ever home and the home has been vacant for a year and the lawn care ignored for who knows how long. The first crew completely cleared out my backyard of debris and removed unwanted plants and shrubs. It hard to put into words the amount of clean up that they had to do, but I would say It could of easily taken me weeks to do what they did. Then the second crew took care of the trees in my yard, again removing a couple, pruning all others. I was also educated by Bill in his crew on how to maintain or what things to look out for. I will not only be using NCG for their services this up coming weekend, but I plan on having them take care of my house yard from this moment forward. Thank you, Eddie

Nothing happened. I met with the owner, Bill Kass, we discussed the work I needed done and agreed to get a proposal by email. As promised, I emailed him the pictures of the trees & in return he'll send me his estimate. Well, I never heard back from him again. I ended up going with another company. Very disappointing.

My very large front lawn and irrigation system were damaged by the installation of a large drain field for a septic system. The irrigation system was pieced and re-piped back together, a doubler and electrical wiring were replaced. Two men worked for over four hours repairing the sprinkler system. Today my yard was prepared for the new sod installation and very healthy looking sod was laid down by 2 men over an 8 hr period. These men worked hard and rarely stopped for a break. The new sod was "feathered" into the existing lawn and it looks seamless. It looks beautiful and lush! Bill, NCG's owner, was prompt and punctual in responding to request for estimate, followed up with his bid the same day, participating and oversaw the irrigation repair and was hands on with the sod installation. He set my irrigation system, at my request, for daily watering for two weeks until the sod takes root and even returned with my check today stating "You paid too much". NCG Landscape & Lawn did a very good job trimming our trees and shrubs; there was an extra charge to carry debris away, but worth it. The gentlemen were professional and had good suggestions for trimming the big tree.

$300.00 for three hours of service. Ask then to cut branche and leave by curb. Two guys worked 1 hour and 15 minutes. Left a huge pile in the back yard. Took me three weeks to clean up with a wheel barrel. Never again!

They are very professional and reliable--much more so than lawn-care services I have used in the past. I've had zero problems with this company and will continue to use their services.

He does an excellent job and I'd highly recommend him. He's very timely and dependable. One time there was a bad storm and my backyard was littered with tree branches, and he picked up everything for me at a very reasonable price.

Received a very prompt and reasonable estimate for general yard maintenance. NCG's estimate was slightly higher than the nearest competitor, but very close, so I went with Bill over several others simply due to his personal involvement, responsiveness and professionalism. I would recommend considering this company and will provide another review once services are performed for a while.

Excellent work - Bill and crew of 2 worked from 0900 to about 1700 the day before the Super Bowl and completed the job in expert fashion. They took all debris with them and left the area very clean. Only hitch was that he planned to start the job at 0800 but did not arrive until 0900.

They were very professional and very expedient. They didn't leave very much behind either. The only issue is they were a stickler with the width of the branch they would cut. We didn't realize this as this was in the details of the offer so it was basically our fault for not paying attention to the details. Most people need larger branches cut versus small tiny ones so thought the company might broaden their groupon offer to bigger branches in the future.

Overall was very good. My mistake for not reading the fine print - would have cost an extra $170 to remove tree waste. My son and I rented a lowes truck for $60 and the dump annex on 419 charged me $5 to dump...my mistake....

We purchased the 20 labor hours "big deal" for $1249 on Oct. 6, 2013. The owner Bill Kass sent me an Angie's List message the next day, and he made an initial appointment to come walk the property. On the day that he came out, he spent over 1/2 hour with me just going over ideas and giving helpful suggestions. We bought our house "as is" a couple of years ago, and there was really nothing in the back yard but weeds and poorly placed small trees which were now beginning to grow into the neighbor's fence. I've had several ideas for projects floating around in my brain, but hadn't come up with a real timeline--I just knew I wanted a patio, a raised bed garden, fruit trees, a pergola, and some other features. Bill talked with me about my ideas, asking good questions that helped me see how much actual planning still needed to be done. Originally I had been thinking that the back yard should be graded away from the house to help with drainage, but Bill took some measurements and told me the grade was good--it was simply lumpy due to years of roof runoff with no gutters. After talking and going back and forth on several ideas, we finally settled on a good use of the 20 labor hours. A few weeks later, Bill arrived with three young men, and they all went straight to work. Though each of them stopped from time to time for a quick smoke break or to take a phone call, they all worked pretty much straight through. They did a lot of grueling work, which probably would have taken inexperienced people at least 30 labor hours to slog through. The result was exactly what we had agreed upon. They didn't leave a trace from any of the trees they hauled off--with the one exception of the large palm tree growing into the neighbor's fence, which was left as a ground-level stump. All other debris was cleared, and although we were charged an additional $135 fee for hauling a huge truckload, we still got a good deal. We will be hiring them to do more work in the future.

We got several quotes for this project and I can say without a doubt that Bill's quote was above all the others. This was a labor intensive project that took almost 10 days to finish. From the start, they worked on it everyday and visited with us daily about what had been done and what would be happening next. We couldn't be happier with the end result. It has exceeded our expectation. Bill was involved with the project from start to finish. He didn't just send a crew in to do it and then appear at the end to collect the check. At the end of the project, he brought some very minor items to our attention that he felt could be improved upon and quickly followed through with getting it done. These weren't items that we would have ever noticed so we are very pleased with his attention to detail and his desire to have the project completed to the highest standard.

Result was good. Took longer than anticipated.

Amazing job - Knowledgeable, showed up early on a Sunday and took care of job. Made the front yard ready for the holidays. Attention to details. What they can do in 3 hours would take weeks for me to have accomplished. Shared knowledge, gave suggestions and then did a great job.

Bill is amazing to work with and a great listener. He's on time...in fact, the project was finished two days early. I needed it done quickly and he was very accommodating. He and his crew are professional and work constantly. Bill is a detail person and makes sure even the little things get attention. They use quality equipment and do accurate work. When the work is complete, they leave your property clean and haul away the debris. I would say if you're looking to have lawn or landscaping work done, run to the phone and call him. You won't be sorry!

Super! I sent an e-mail asking for an estimate and received a call back the same day. The owner came the next day to give an estimate. I asked when they could do the job, and was told it could be done the next day. They came on time and went to work promptly. They did a great job!

Everything went as planned and agreed. Dan did the work. He was fantastic. We are 100% satisfied with the job!

Owner answered email promptly and came out to view our front yard and get details on what we were looking for. We agreed on the work and price and scheduled the job for the following week. Work was professional, quick, well done and the employee consulted us several times on possible arrangements of the plants to provide the greatest opportunity for input on the design/arrangements. Choice of plants, owner and employees were all excellent and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for landscaping.

Pretty good, we liked them a lot when they came out and the work was pretty good. I had to have them come back to do a little more cleanup but overall very satisfied. Hired them to maintain the lawn and grounds afterward. They do a great job with that and are reliable and fair in price.

Bill and his crew arrived on time and when right to work. They finished to the 3-hour special time frame and did an excellent job. Will use them in the future.
