I recently moved into a new home with terrible landscaping and I was having a hard time getting anyone in the area, including my regular landscaper, to call me back for a redesign. I found NCG on Angie's List and left a message for Bill to call me back. He returned my call immediately and came out the next evening to take pictures of my property. He said he would come back with a design by Monday or Tuesday and by Tuesday morning he called to ask if he could come out after work to discuss. I hired him immediately. They started work that Thursday and by Sunday afternoon the entire job was completed!! I have never worked with a more professional, courteous group of people. Bill was there every day and his crew was there from morning to night each day. They were respectful and cleaned up each night before they left. My yard looks AMAZING and Bill has been out every day since, checking the lights and fixing sprinklers that needed to be adjusted. Needless to say, I have fired my landscaper and NCG is now doing my regular weekly maintenance. Hi HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. Thanks Bill and team!!!

They did what we agreed upon and then some. Bill would periodically check with me to make sure that I was satisfied. Everything I pointed out was immediately taken care of. There were no hidden or added charges. Crew was polite and professional.

I emailed NCG and asked if they did work in my area, South Orlando. Bill contacted me and informed me that due to the distance, they only did jobs which were a certain size. After explaining the work we needed, he scheduled an appointment to some and look at our project. He arrived early (as he did for every one of our arranged meetings) and we walked and talked about problems, options and possible solutions. Within a few days we received a detailed invoice spelling out the charges for each of the services and decided to delay some plantings until next year. The following week, we scheduled a time for the crew to come to the house. Due to the size of the project, it was decided to do the work over 2 weekends. The first week all of the overgrown plant material was removed and the borders installed. The drain was complete and most of the mulching was completed. I could see at the point I had made a good decision. All of the work was quality, exactly as described or even with some added design touches which someone who knows their job can add to a project. After a large rain the over the week, we noticed that some of the mulch was washing away. Bill suggested installing a border along the area and I agreed with just a small increase in the contract price for the labor and materials. For the completion of the project, scheduling did not allow us to be home when the work was set to be completed. Bill wanted to walk through the property and inspect it with me to insure all work was satisfactory. I assured him that after the work the first week, I was confident that he would complete the job to my satisfaction. When we returned home, we walked around our house. We have the landscaping that we wanted when we tried to complete this project 10 years ago and never finished. Things are better than we thought they could look. Even some extras were included like adding stone to some beds to even out the appearance or trimming up some of the crepe myrtles to make they look neat. Now, the price isn't cheap. I've dealt with several landscape contractors in the past. Some less expensive than others. I was given a palm tree which wasn't the one I ordered. I had to call back several times to get promised work done because they forgot to write it on the order given to the work crew. For me, it was well worth it for the confidence that all the work would be completed as asked and at a level equivalent to the price charged. I plan to ask them back again when I need some more work done.

I've been using Bill for about 4 years now I think...it took me a while to get on the Friday schedule but I stayed with him and he finally me worked me on. He comes every Friday morning during moving season and I think every other week or 3rd week in the winter... anyway I have a very small yard and have some offers to do it cheaper, but I would never switch. The assistant Bill has now is very nice and they do a great job. They are in and out and my yard always looks manicured. I'm so happy I have this service to rely and ease one of burdens of taking care of a house and yard.

The guys were punctual and professional. They quickly went to work when they arrived, then worked quickly and efficiently to accomplish all they could in the time frame I had purchased. They did a fantastic job.

I asked them to do my yard and they were just too expensive so I switched to a different provider. They were extremely professional. The crew was extremely professional and didn't look like a bunch of bums. They worked hard. I don't think they spent enough time on the property for what they charged. They did a pretty good job when I had them. I've already found alternatives to do the same amount of service and more for half the price. I would use them again depending on the price.

Be careful with that one guys. Way overpriced. I had weeds all over my front and back lawn but there was grass there as well. I thought they do spraying or something to get rid of them, but his answer on repair of lawn was to do a complete sprinkler system, trim trees, remove all grass and shrubs and replant all new. Cost $12-15K and all I wanted to do was to kill some weeds :) I would not use them at all for sure. I felt very uncomfortable, couldn't get in touch with the guy for a couple of days and he wouldn't return calls to schedule. They may do some high end service well, but for me regular folk, this was way too much. My grass looks a lot better now and I am just using a little sprinkler head thingy hooked up to my hose for $39.99 :) A lot cheaper then $15K.

The service was a bit pricey, but overall, it was a good experience. The three-man crew showed on time, did the work as promised, and didn't leave behind any messes.

It went well but it looked like some of it is dying. I need to call Bill Kass and tell him that I've been watering it every single day like he said and some of it looks like it shouldn't be that brown. I thought maybe he should come out and look at it. The guy came out on time and worked efficiently and quickly. He got it all done within the morning and it took him a couple of hours. He seemed to know what he was doing. He watched out for my sprinkler heads and that was good, too. He did a good job and I was very satisfied. They got here when they said they will and they kept in touch.

Nice people but responsiveness and meeting deadlines needs improving.

We have been using NCG Landscaping for a couple of years now, and I wanted to provide an update: they are fabulous! They are here week in and week out, and today they added another visit to catch up on trim work. They are the type of service where you hire them, and just never have to think about it again - so consistent, always high quality. With prior services, if anything was needed beyond the basic cut, we would need to call repeatedly to get it taken care of, even though that was part of the contract. With NCG, we don't even need to think about it. After more than a decade of settling, it has been great in these last two years to be so well taken care of by a lawn service. Mr. Kass and his helpers at NCG are punctual, cordial, helpful, and fast.

Responded to a Big Deal coupon I saw recently. The company contacted me well within their stated response time, estimated the job on a Sunday for me, and accomplished more in the agreed time than I thought possible. These guys are very reliable and I would highly recommend them for even tough landscape clearing jobs.

The yard was totally overgrown after years of plant growth. Trimmed scrubs and trees. They also replaced the lawn back and front. It look good now. I can see my yard again.

Three people came out. They took down 2 little trees with trunks about 8 inches thick and trimmed branches along the fence. They were very nice and did a good job. The only thing I did not like was that they charged extra to haul away the branches. I decided to have someone else haul the debris. They were punctual and very courteous.

They did what I asked. The work got done just fine. The only thing I wasn't happy with is that they didn't bundle the branches so the yard waste truck wouldn't take the trimmings. They were punctual & professional.

Overall they were great. Not only did they do a great job installing, but afterwards took time to answer all of my questions about upkeep and maintenance of my lawn

We had to cancel the initial appointment and had to reschedule. I was having the service done for a rental property. There was a mix up and he ended up showing to my home address instead. He did make it to the rental property and completed the work. They took out some shrubs and completed the tree trimming. They stayed less than four hours and did not check if there was any other would that could be done. Everything was okay.

My call for service was returned promptly and the job scheduled quickly. Bill and one other man arrived on time, worked steadily, efficiently, cheerfully and completely performed the work agreed to. Clean-up looked good. I was pleased.

I gave Bill the go-ahead on the same day he gave me the estimate. That was a Wednesday. On Saturday, he had a crew at my house at 8am sharp to remove the front lawn and prepare it for the new sod. On Monday, they were back again to replant the front beds with a beautiful selection of healthy plants and small trees. I gave no input as to the plants chosen (I don't know plants!), so Bill did all the selection and he and his crew determined placement. The next day, Tuesday, the sod was delivered and his crew came back again to install it. All my husband and I (and our neighbors) can say is, WOW! What a difference the new yard makes to the curb appeal of our house! First, the sod is the best-looking, healthiest, weed-free sod I've ever seen, and Bill's crew laid it so perfectly that you can't even tell it's pieces of sod right now. It looks like a lush green lawn that's been there all along. And the planting beds are gorgeous. Makes our house look like a million bucks! One more thing -- during the three days Bill's crew was at our house, I had several interactions with them. On the first day, I asked several questions and discussed additional work with his crew chief. On the second day, Bill arrived with his crew, but then left them on their own. I was SO impressed with his crew! They were informed, smart, hard-working, and so polite and accommodating. True professionals. So while Bill wasn't the cheapest estimate, in this case, we got what we paid for and we couldn't be more pleased.

Work was decent, but I paid for haul away that almost cancelled out the discount special prices, because I could not tell the owner how much "stuff" I would have to haul away after the job was done ( I even asked him what he meant by how much - bushels, weight, what?). How would I know this anyway? I do not do this kind of work. I am 64 years old. I suggested he should come out and see if he needed to know. He refused to come out to look before doing the job, telling me it was "not necessary" for him to come out . He gave me $10 off an additional charge of about $260 for 2 trucks instead of one, as a "deal", because I "only really needed one truck". I still paid for all but $10 for 2 trucks. He was traveling a long way from the east side of Orlando to the west side, so I believe he did not want to come twice. I also had problems scheduling the appointment (he did not want to come out on a Saturday or after 3:45 PM- said his workers could not, even though several other posted that he had come on a Saturday, and I would not have asked for that if it were not there on Angie's List). He also suggested he could come during my work hours and just leave a check for him outside. I was not comfortable with that. He could have picked up the check and not done the job at all, or not completed the job, or, he could say he never got the check (which in this area, might be true, had I left it outside somewhere. I have found someone else to do yard mantenance from this area at a very reasonable price, so I will not be calling him again.
