Mercury Plumbing charged me $150 to "unclog" my shower. Two days later it was clogged again. I had to pay another $100 to a second plumber who had to use two different machines besides the regular equipment to pull out a huge plug.

I have used them for several years. Today I had Juan show up for Mercury and he did an excellent job. He is smart, planned what to do and he had to modify serve rail items to get it to fit. The property is about 50 years old and needed modern parts and some remodeling.

Excellent. They were prompt, professional, and attempted to save me some money by repairing rather than replacing the Backflow Prevention valve. After opening it up, they showed me exactly why it needed to be replaced and installed that replacement without gouging me.

Water would not shut off and had a last minute emergency. It's the third time in three years that I use this company. Always come on time. Do a great job and the price is fair. Called in at around 9 am and by noon my problem was solved. Highly recommend this company. They even gave me a 10% discount on labor for being an Angie's List member. They have a super happy customer with me here.

The water heater replacement went exactly as I expected. It was very straightforward to schedule the service; I left keys for the plumbers and they did all of the work while I was out. The house was left clean and the installation was complete when I returned. They dropped off a ladder so that the city's inspector could check in a week later, and again that went quite smoothly. I'll definitely call Mercury again for any plumbing needs and I'll recommend them to my friends!

I recently contacted and used Mercury Plumbing for a issue with my kitchen sink pipes and for the install of a shower head. Scheduling was very efficient and the work was done thoroughly at a competitive price. I am very pleased with my experience and will certainly call them again when in need of plumber!

Though a man came to view everything for our quote, they never contacted us after the initial visit. In addition, the Mercury man told us the water heater had not been put in to code- and they were the one who put it in some 4 years ago.

On January 3rd, 2018 I called Mercury Plumbing because I had heard about their excellent and professional work. I called at 10am, was told to expect a technician in the afternoon. I would receive a call when the technician was on his way. Two technicians came, Juan and Randy arrived on time. They diagnosed the problem, gave me the solution and went ahead with the job. They both acted in a very professional way. I was very pleased with their work and the price quoted. I would recommend this company and I would have them again for any future Plumbing problems.

They verified that the problem was not on our end and then worked with the city engineer to ensure that the city took responsibility for resolving the issue. Could not have asked for better customer service!

It went great!! They called and the technician showed up right on time. CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL. Next time I need a plumber this is who I'll call.

Emailed the guys at Mercury Plumbing with pictures of the problem, replacement parts and our backup plan to install a brand new fixture. We agreed upon the hourly rate and best efforts with the replacement parts. If the fix did not look promising then they would switch immediately to replacement to minimize the labor costs. William arrived promptly, assessed the situation and replaced the part on the cold side and this fixed the leak! He repeated for the hot side and all was good. So thankful to not have to replace the (costly) fixture! 1.5 hours of labor and 10% Angie’s discount. We are very pleased and would use them again.

Nick was awesome. Super friendly and polite. He was efficient and quick in his work. We provided two new low flow toilets. In a very short timeframe, he pulled out the old toilets and replaced with new toilets and carefully recaulked around the base of each. He was a great representative of his company and we would not hesitate to call Mercury again for assistance!

Nick was great! Arrived on time and assessed the situation. The sink faucet needed adjustment because it was turning too far to shutoff. He disassembled it, found the problem and re-installed. For the new toilet, he replaced the supply line valve and installed a brand new Gerber toilet in about 45 minutes. The install looks great!!

The plumber was very professional, explained what happened and how he was repairing it, and how we might even be able to repair it ourselves in the future.

We had Mercury Plumbing here a couple of years ago. We just had a problem; we didn't know what the problem was. But while they were out here, I attempted to have them also level my toilet and they did not successfully do that. But they did unclog the toilet, they found there was a clog there, and they also replaced the plumbing inside of the tank. They were alright. I don't know that I would use them again to level a toilet. I would probably find someone else. He said in order to level the toilet, the floor would need to be leveled, but now when we had our floor replaced in there, that provider called somebody out here, they called a plumber out here to replace both the toilets because when you have ceramic tile put in, it's a whole different ball game than just vinyl tile. And the plumbers they had out here to do the toilets were just awesome. Unfortunately, after we did the tile in 2005, we ended up replacing the toilets and they've never been level since then. Our interactions with Mercury were good; they're nice people, they're good people.

The front office was a pleasure. They went out of their way to make sure everything was right and for the right price. Prompt responsive. On time with everything. They even came back after the original work and helped us in the middle of the night.

Great service, timely, fair, upfront and professional. The guy that came, Andy, has a lot of experience and you can tell by the right to the point, this is how it's done type of performance.

Worse Service EVER. Wish i could give zero stars. The plumber Ricky came out to fix our issue but did half-*** work. He spent 10 min working on the issue and said it was fixed. The only thing he did was clear the lines and that was all. He did not check for any other issues, assuming clearing the lines would fix everything. We had issues that same night. We called them back out and of course, we got Ricky again. According to the GM, he does a "good" job, I absolutely disagree with that statement. When Ricky came out the second time, he went directly to the issue knowing where it was causing problems. He used the camera, a $250 charge we were unaware of, to help fix the issue. The GM's argument is that they did not need to use the camera and charge us the $250, instead just to charge us a visit in which Ricky should have fixed/checked the first time. I called to complain about the second charge and spoke with the service manager, one of the rudest individuals I have spoken with. He was unprofessional and did not belong in a management position. The GM was very professional, unfortunately, we did not see eye to eye on Ricky's work and said he was not going to take the service charge away. I will NEVER use Mercury Plumbing again.

I liked the fact that it got fixed in one day. I was a little concerned because it took such a long time and it wasn't clear that he knew what he was doing. He ended up cutting a hole out of my wall which I wasn't sure that was necessary but all the work got done. I was just a little concerned while it was being done and I think he was too slow in what he was doing. I don't think I was extremely dissatisfied or anything with the price that I paid. At the end of the day I was satisfied with the work. If I knew what he was doing, I would have felt more comfortable in the house. I would use him again because I prefer to use people that I know.

Setting up an appointment was very easy. The guy that came over was very punctual. I had all the materials so all he had to do was install. He was very efficient and although he charged for the hour he was finished in less and he left. A few hours later I noticed there was a leak under the tub he installed. I called and the guy came back and fixed the issue. He wasn't very happy about coming back and said if he had to return he would have to charge. Overall I'm ok with the job and people at the office were friendly and helpful but thought his comment was a bit out of line. It was a simple job and if it had been done right the first time he would not have had to come back.

I called Mercury to investigate a water leak in my garage that was around my water heater. Plumber came out and spent about an hour and a half trying to figure out where the water was coming from. Looked at my water meter and looked behind the drywall a little, but overall did not do enough digging around to really investigate things. His eventual conclusion was that my shower pan (shower was directly behind the wall) was leaking and that it needed to be replaced. This meant tearing out custom tile work that was pretty expensive and only a few years old. Fortunately, I did not take his advice and decided to investigate it further myself after he left. After removing a piece of drywall, water could be seen coming out of a pipe that was coming up through the foundation. Later I ended up chiseling the concrete away and removing the leaking section of pipe and fixing the entire thing myself. Bottom line, I wish I had thought to do the investigation myself before hiring Mercury, but I was disappointed the plumber did not at least figure out where the water was coming from. I feel like I wasted my $210 since he did not help me at all to solve the problem.

Work was done satisfactorily.
