LJL REAL ESTATE INC

LJL Real Estate is the worst Property Management/Real Estate Broker that I have yet to come across. I have never endured such hardship, unprofessionalism and unethical business practice in all my years as a tenant until moved forward with renting one of the condo units that they manage. Consumers/Tenants/Future Home Owners/Home Owners beware! I rented a condo that they manage for 1 year 9 months and 6 days. I vacated the unit as I purchased a home to be my primary residence. Several items/defects were reported as damaged upon move-in. Still they somehow mustered the audacity to claim a hold on 750.00 of my security deposit; which I am currently disputing and intend on taking civil action on if necessary. Most of the claims and accusations made were false or grossly exaggerated. The other claims made are items, that by Florida Statue, they are responsible for and not the tenant. The most outrageous thing about it all is that throughout my entire occupancy, the heater never functioned. I brought this matter up to Lisa Lynch of LJL Real Estate at least 3 times and nothing was ever done about it. I eventually gave up on trying and purchased a portable heater to get by on cold winters; where the lowest temperatures dropped to the 30's. By Florida Statue, a functioning heater must be provisioned during winters. When I confronted Lisa Lynch of this fact after she called me unprofessionally making verbal false claims on the telephone, her response was the most shocking of all. She stated that in Florida one does not need a functioning heater because it is only cold a couple of days out of the year. I look forward to taking them to court and am sure glad I have supporting evidence and witnesses to win the case, if neccesary. I hope that this review helps people think twice about doing business with LJL Real Estate. I sure wished I had read the other poor reviews prior to signing a rental agreement with them. - Happy Homeowner
