Alexander and the crew from Lady Maria Tree service trimmed an oak for me this morning. This tree hasn't been trimmed in a very long time before today. They did a fantastic job and were very polite and friendly. The tree looks so much better than it did before. Will hire again in the future!

6 minutes ago New You have to be very very specific in the job you want. I was very specific in what I wanted and they charged me for half that I wanted. They said it would cost me 900 for what I really want, after they cut my trees, when I could have gotten it for 600 dollars elsewhere. I thought the price they quote me was to good to be true. Then they told me that they are not coming back and I need to be satisfied with the job. I would have been satisfied if I got exactly what I wanted for the price that I was quoted. If I really wanted exactly what I want it done, I would have gone with a different company that would only charge me $600. But they told me that my quote is 375. Then they proceed to tell me that they did what I wanted and if I want extra trimming, it's going to cost me the $900. Well if I post my specific text to the company on here, it would show that they only did half the job. If my HOA is not okay with it, guess I'll have to take actions

Grandparents hired them back in January to do a job. During the work they dropped a tree branch on my grandparents RV With them inside it. They tried to send out a roof company to put a patch on saying that would fix it. When we told them no that would not fix the damage done to the RV roof. They lady got nasty rude and said they would not pay to cover any damage. They have a nasty attitude and are extremely rude. Thankfully grandparents turned it in to their insurance and the insurance handled it. We did not originally leave a review. But now she is emailing us saying 5 months later saying we need to delete our review or she would sue. Everyone should be aware they if they cause any damage during there service how rude and horrible it would be handled by this company. She will yell and threaten you and hang up on you. Then sit there and say it’s a lie.

Where oh where do I begin with this company? They came out promptly to give me a quote on a yucca I needed removed, and said they could do it the following day. I was getting quotes from other companies but since they showed initiative and said they could do it so quickly, I agreed. They then rescheduled, twice, which is annoying since having it done next day is a large part of why I hired them, but whatever. The fun part starts when they notify me that they can’t complete the job because the stump grinder can’t fit into my side gate. This is the same side gate I measured in front of the owner, in person, before a quote was made. Seems that you had enough information to know whether or not it would fit beforehand. If there was a chance it wouldn’t fit, you should have known then and communicated that to me. I would have made it clear I didn’t want the yucca cut at all if that’s the case. So they inform me they’re done, and that I now owe them $450 IMMEDIATELY. When I check my contract to see what all it says, I notice, wow it’s been modified! The scope of the job and the price both changed and what do you know, my signature is right there despite that I never agreed to this price or scope of work. Not only unethical, but completely illegal. Their own contract states “all work will be completed in accordance with these plans unless subsequent changes are agreed upon in writing”. Yep, that’s how it’s done! But that never happened, no change order was submitted. It also says “after job completion, customer agrees on final inspection of the job.” That also never happened. We explain to them we’re out of town, and will talk to stump grinding companies when we get back in 2 days to see how much it will cost to finish the job they were contracted to do, because what they want to charge us to just cut down this plant with a chainsaw (and not even flush to the ground, about 8 inches above it) is more than 2/3 the cost they quoted us for complete removal. And, of course, isn’t a price we ever agreed to or would have ever agreed to for that scope of work. They just decided we owed them that, would not wait for us to get back to town to sort this out, and started texting and calling us all day, harassing and threatening us like legit thugs. We told them multiple times we had every intention of paying them, but the way they handled this was completely unprofessional, unethical, and frankly pretty psychotic. You need $450 so badly that you’ll call and scream obscenities and homophobic slurs at my husband, the day that this made up amount is due? Even though we aren’t even home to inspect and accept the work, and no one sent us a photo, per your own contract? In what world is that how you conduct business? They even went so far as to show up at our home with cops, trying to intimidate us into paying even though that isn’t how law enforcement works in civil matters (and when we spoke to the cops later they said they explained this to the owner). They told us that they wouldn’t be able to pay their employees if we didn’t pay, which isn’t any of our business at all, but speaks volumes about their business acumen, along with the way they handled this and the quality of the job they did for us and the fact that they legitimately don’t seem to understand that they did something illegal. All-in-all, you’d do well to stay far away from this company.

Office lady spoke English. Estimator did not, but gave me a laizer pointer to show him where and what branches I wanted cut. He used an ap, and indicated the areas that I pointed to. Gave an estimate. Crew came: did not speak English (not their fault). I do not speak Spanish (not my fault). They looked at the job, and the price quoted, but said that amount of work I thought was agreed up, would cost more. Rather than pay a $100 cancellation fee, I agreed to let them cut $300 worth of branches - enough to cover the cost of the estimate. The language barrier was unexpected and unfortunate. Clean up wasn't so great, but maybe they were annoyed about the mis-communication. I will hire another company to finish the job.

WARNING: Do not use LADY MARIA TREE SERVICES. My neighbor hired them to remove several large oak trees (prior to Hurricane Ian) and they dropped one of them on my house and pool screen causing almost $30k in damage. I waited several weeks to write this review hoping they would cover the damage, but their insurance company is unresponsive. Now I'm stuck with a $30k bill.

It was great. Maria was very helpful. The crew did a good job.

It went very well. I called them to come out for an estimate and then the crew came out and said they can take care of it so they did it. Their price was very fair and the crew was very professional and they cleaned up everything afterwards.

The workers did a very good job and they were nice. I wouldn’t hire again, because it was too much of a language barrier and the translator was not onsite.

Everything went well except for 1 tree that has imbedded metal. They were excellent and professional.

The service was not well. They cut the trees but they wrench the whole neighborhood.

They showed up on time, with a crew that knew how to do the job. We are very pleased, and will hire them again.
