I WILL NEVER USE and DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICES OF WILLIAM (BILL) KNOX of COLLEGE PARK, ORLANDO FL. Things went south from the moment i received my first invoice which had labor costs erroneously calculated in favor of contractor by $X,XXX.xx dollars (he tried to bill me for more hours than what was actually worked). After that, he tried to get payment for items he invoiced that were never part of my actual project (expected me to pay for items of his side jobs) and i even overheard conversations he had with his 'crew' directing transportation of materials i purchased, to others job sites of his (not mine). His HVAC recommendation quoted me $8,500 more than what we ended up actually needing and ultimately paying (we identified an option that was only $1,500 which is what we ended up going with). His Electrical recommendation tried to bill me for materials that were never installed. His Architect (Steven Hepner Licence #AR0010620) after payment went dark on me for weeks after continued calls, emails and texts and having provided no services whatsoever, I ultimately had to have Paypal intervene to get my money returned (good thing i had the foresight of using their 'Goods & Services' option). His Painters walked out on the job leaving me with a literal 'mess' to clean up and resolve. He never pulled the permits as he said he would and then tried to extort me for $X,XXX.xx dollars and when i refused, he told his 'colleague' that worked in the Permits Dept of the City of Orlando who slapped an incident on my residence, even though he never stepped foot on the property to validate the claims falsely provided. I was/am a legitimate paying customer and provided payment for all services rendered and did so within 24 hours after every request (this included my review and ultimately readjustment of totals given the continued errors on his behalf).
