The project work was completed in a timely and professional manner.

I called John (10/24) and we were able to arrange to meet the following day. He showed up on time and I began to explain to him why we needed to use his services (my father had passed away three months ago and we needed to cleanup the yard). We were able to agree on the scope of work and the price. The following day (10/26) John showed up with an agreement drawn up I signed and agreed to give John a deposit the following day. once I gave him the deposit he started working. At no point during the time John and his crew were working did I feel they were doing the job just for the money, they took their time with the items and were very respectful. Three days later the job was completed and John took the time to personally walk around the property and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I pointed out some things that needed to be taken care of and he was right on it. Three weeks have passed since the job was completed and John took the time to give us a call and make sure we were ok. Not only was this a good business transaction, but I personally feel like we made a friend. Thanks John, we really appreciate it.

I contacted him on Wednesday and he came over on Thursday morning. He removed paneling and other items from my patio. He and his brother was very professional and friendly. I will use him again when I need items removed.

I called and John answered his phone (did not have to leave a voice mail, which was nice). He said he could be at my house in a half hour. He showed up promptly as promised, looked over the job, and gave me a quote on the spot. We agreed on a price, and he loaded everything up right then. Throughout the job, he was courteous, professional, and very friendly. I was very comfortable having him at my house and would recommend him to anyone.

John met me at designated location on time and loaded the bed I needed transported, then help me set it up when we arrived at my home. He was very helpful and agreed to help setup since he knew I could not do it alone. Very nice man, on time, courteous and helpful.

I was pleased with the promptness and the service.

He was very eager to do the work immediately if we agreed on a price. He showed up in his truck with a trailer and removed all the debris left over.

We contacted John Barnes and the job was done a few hours later. John was professional and courteous and a complete pleasure to deal with.

I called several numbers in the Pennysaver and was less than happy with these first efforts. I reluctantly gave in a paid the yearly fee to join Angie's List in hopes of having better luck in finding an honest contractor. I know I contacted at least a dozen listings from Angie's List and finally received a call back from a listing in the Pennysaver from C&C Hauling in Sanford confirming that Best Price Hauling was my best bet. Just as all of the other reviews for John Barnes explain, John is an exceptional human being that understands the relationship of a business transaction. Everyone else I spoke to just seemed confused and needed pictures and too many details to manage long distance. I felt so heard by John and remember taking a deep breath knowing all would be well. Before I spoke with him I had a $$ amount I wanted to spend and he was so close that I knew he was my man....here is the thing I really want to share about this transaction. John agreed to a day and approximate time he would drive by the house and would then call me to solidify the price. He did as he said he would and then contacted me when he was done and we made arrangements for him to be compensated. John took this job on by faith not knowing whether or not he could trust some chick all the way in MD to pay for his services. He relieved me of a ton of stress and concern that my Mom had over getting the property cleaned up. I realize that everything he picked up could have easily been dropped back off right into the yard had I not sent the payment promptly, but here is the thing...once John received payment for his services, he took the time to call me and we had a lovely conversation about trust and I do believe I've created a real friend that I hope to one day meet in person. John has also had several conversations with my Mom who is also looking forward to meeting him one day. I'll be forever grateful for signing up to Angie's List, for C&C Hauling's recommendation and for the leap of faith I took in contacting Best Price Hauling and John Barnes!!!Thank you John for being committed to excellence in your life...I truly wish you and yours the best of everything and I look forward to shaking your hand one day!!! ;o)

Not much to tell. They loaded up all the concrete on their lowboy trailer and hauled it away.

I called John and made an appointment for him to come and remove some junk, old lawn equipment and chain link fencing. He arrived on time and surveyed the job at hand and we settled on a price. He and his helper Randy quickly got to work loading the junk on his flatbed. One of the pieces of lawn equipment and the fencing were overgrown with roots from sitting in a neglected area of the yard . These items were difficult to remove but they both made short work of it and in no time they were loading the items on the flatbed and were gone. Dealing with John was a pleasure. He was honest and up front and got the job done.I would use Best Price Hauling again and recommend them for any of your junk removal needs.

John responded to my phone call as asked and started and finished job in the time he said it would take. he certainly saved me a great deal of money and time. I recomend his services to anyone.

John showed up about 45min after I hired him, with a small crew to assist this both inside and outside job, finished about when he said he would, and I was very happy to see my daughter's house cleaned out and all the old furniture, clothing and trash removed from the site. John was a pleasure to work with, honest in what he says and does, and I'm about to re-hire him again for some handyman work in this house as well as some yard work to cleanup a neglected back yard. Recommend him highly!

Overall I would definitely call John again. He did a great job for us.

John was the 10 th person or company called for this job. At least 6 of the phones were no longer in service. Was given a not to exceed price over the phone. Arranged a date and time for pickup. Was very prompt, outgoing and professional. Arrived at a mutual prrice. The whole event took less than 2 hours. Will consider John for handyman work in the near future.
