First I would like to take this time to note our company has been in business since 1968, Nearly 50 years and has provided over 90,000 quality moves for families and businesses in that time. Our number one priority is taking care of our customers needs and providing the best service in the industry. This all said I would like to clarify a few points [removed member name] has made as I have gone through our calls as they are all recorded, and I have listened to the conversation you had with one of our estimators. The call in question that Susan (one of our reps) took was handled in the professional and courteous way that all of our calls need to be handled and was not disrespectful in anyway by Susan. The call went very disrespectful when [removed member name]was told that all local moves have a 1 hour travel time which is broken down to 30 minutes for the men to get to you and 30 minutes for the men to get back to us after the job. (below clarifies the legalities of the travel time.) 1. To clarify on the hourly rate. The hourly rate that [removed member name]was quoted was $129.00 per hour which included the truck and three (3) men not two as she stated in her review. 2. To clarify the travel time, this is a charge that is regulated by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services which all moving companies have to abide by with no exceptions in order for them to be a licensed moving company and operate legally. This is just like how Insurance Companies and Banks are regulated on their business practices. 3. To clarify on what [removed member name]said "she was overly concerned about the size of the furniture, which was no larger than a love seat. I have not idea why a moving company would ask how large the furniture is". As you called in to get an estimate for our services it is very important and in fact necessary for us to understand (1) what items are being moved and (2) if there are oversize items as this is necessary for us to know how many men will be needed to complete your move and how many hours it should take them. As we do moves including 600sqft apartments all the way up to 18,000sqft mansions, as you can imagine the couches, dining tables, beds, etc. are not going to be the same size within those two size homes. Again, we have been in business for nearly 50 years and have built a reputation on honesty, integrity, reliability, and have become a premier moving and storage company within Central Florida. We know that we are not the cheapest moving company in town, and in fact we take pride in that. As most people know, you usually get what you pay for, and when moving your prized possessions typically hiring the cheapest always ends in costing you more money. If you do not agree with how we charge or the pricing in which we charge then it is as simple as not hiring us. This complaint is the same as complaining to Mercedes Benz that their pricing is outrageous as you can buy a Honda for much much less. It simply is not apples to apples.
