This guy is sloppy and will shortcut anything to move on to the next job. He installed the wrong sprinkler head with what he had in his truck as opposed to the right size. Therefore, the new installed sprinkler head would stick out above the grass line so that my lawn crew could cut it with the passing lawn mower blade! He also dug out a whole in such a way that he couldn't reassemble the hole after repairing the sprinkler head. Also, I called him back over and over to come back to fix the sprinkler and he would keep promising that he would come back and kept blowing me off. His assistant would do the same. I texted them daily for weeks without any completion of the problem. After 2 months, he finally showed up unannounced and replaced the sprinkler head. What an ordeal. Do NOT use this guy. Buyer beware.

Not a good experience. Felt we were being talked down to in addition to being "taken ", due to our ignorance re irrigation systems. If we had joined Angie's List last year before hiring this company on a yearly contract we would not have had such a major job done by this company this year, especially after reviewing the other reports on them that revealed an overall "F" rating.

Horrible experience. The irrigation system was in worse shape after this company provided its service, they did not stand behind their warranty even 1 week after the service was provided, and they were unprofessional in not communicating to try to resolve the issue. They identified the need to replace 2 valves to address the initial problem of zones 5 and 6 not working; but immediately after their valve replacement, zones 2 and 4 stopped working. $468 was paid to this irrigation company and the entire system had to be shut off within a week of their service because of flooding around the replaced valves and the company refused to do anything.
Description of Work: Service requested because zones 5 and 6 did not work. Zones 1 through 4 worked fine. Technican inspected area to diagnosis the problem and identified two in-ground irrigation valves (located adjacent to each other) that they uncovered and removed the protective irrigation cover boxes from to expose the valve and piping. Technician said that both values needed to be replaced because the pipes connected to the valves were broken. In response to questions about how the pipes could have been broken when there was no prior visable water flooding/accumulation in this area and no increase in the water bill from broken pipes, the technician said that the compacted ground around both broken pipes sealed the pipes preventing water from leaking. He also stated that the technicians did not break these 2 pipes with their shovels while they uncovered them. They were authorized to fix this problem but told not to do any other work because it was so expensive. Later, the technician said he fixed the problem and that the newly replaced valves should not be walked on for a time so he put flags over the new valves. The technician was paid $468 by check and both the technician and invoice said the work was guaranteed for one year. The check cleared the bank account the next day. The first time the irrigation system came on automatically after this service visit, zones 2, 4, and 6 did not work. Attempts to reset the irrigation control box to fix the problem did not work. One week after their service visit that replaced two valves, the irrigation control box was reset by the homeowner for each zone to run for 2 minutes to be inspected and the homeowner found that, in additon to zones 2, 4, and 6 not working, the ground around where the 2 valves had been replaced was wet and filling with water. For the first time since the valves were replaced, the homeowner stepped close to the replaced valves to uncover them and find out where all the water was coming from. Water and dirt were coming up from the site of the valve repair. Both the technican and irrigantion company office were then notified that zones 2, 4, and 6 had not worked since their repair and the area around the valve repair was flooding. Both the technican and office replied that that they couldn't tell what the problem was over the phone but they didn't think it had anything to do with their work and there would be additional charges if they come out and the problem was unrelated to the their prior work. The technican also said he was sure that someone else must have created this problem by walking on the replaced valves even though he was told that no one walked on the flags he placed in the ground over the replaced valves. They denied their responsibility before even inspecting the problem. The technician did not come at the appointment time two days later and responded with "????" when texted asking when he was coming. He showed up later that day unannounced, opened the irrigation boxes over the two replaced valves, looked inside, and then said "warranty is void because you walked on them" and then walked out of the yard to his truck; refusing to listen. Gone within 5 minutes of his arrival. The office hung up the phone immediately when contacted about this. Several voice mail and e-mail messages have gone unanswered.
