+ 0 moreThe whole project went very well. Although Brandon had to work in the garage all day in 95 degree heat, he pleasantly worked through the job and clearly took pride in his work. I will definitely call them back for the next electrical job.
Description of Work: Brandon came to the house, gave us an honest quote, and did the work. He repaced a ceiling fan, and then re-wired the main fuse box for the whole house. We had an old junction box for the house, and we'd been told that it was out of code. .

+ 1 moreWe would recommend this company to anyone requiring the services of an electrician. Everyone from the office staff to the electrician was wonderful. There was no problem Tim could not solve with a smile and honesty and great technical expertise. The cost was exceeding low for the quality of work. I don't believe there was anything Tim could not have fixed. In Phaze is a permanent contact for all future electrical needs.
Description of Work: Repaired hanging track lighting fixture, diagnosed and repaired sling fan and light fixture. Removed and replaced lighting fixture on wall changing from emergency light to normal operational light. Installed several dimmer switches.

+ 1 moreBrannon with In Phaze Electric arrived and scoped out the work needed to be performed. He started on the more difficult job that involved running additional wire to the lanai roof to be able to install 2 additional fans outside. He set them up on the remote and re-programmed the Family room fan to another channel for the remote to work off of. He installed a chandeliers in the Dining room and laundry/wine room and set those on dimmers. He also had to install a ceiling fan in the garage and needed to run wire to since it was not prewired. He did so informing me of any insituations along the way so that I could make the decision of how I wanted it to be. The pricing was very reasonable. I had used the discount provided on the Angies list website. Thanks!
Description of Work: The electricians did have some difficulty with a vehicle and rescheduled. When they came out the following day they were very professional and courteous. They did a great job and worked all day taking care of our long list of installations and repairs. They hung 4 fans and had to run wire for 3 of them. They switched out light fixtures and installed dimmer switches. Brannon did a great job!

There was a miscommunication about the date to perform the work, but Tony rescheduled the work to be performed at my convenience. The quality of the work was excellent and the performance of the craft was professional. I will defiitely use Phaze Electric again.

+ 2 moreTony was excellent to work with and worked to make us happy with what we needed to happen for our appraisal. He is the owner, answering the phone himself, courteous, intelligent, thoughtful, and of course, very professional. Tim was sent to do the work, a master electrician, fast, detail oriented, wonderful personality, and with an innate artistic sense about what looks good design wise, important to me, as my husband and I are both artists and very visual. Tim suffered my constant changes having him remove first one link in the chain then another till each light was hung at the perfect height, even switching a couple of chandeliers, when we decided they looked better in opposite rooms. Never an ugly look or comment, just smiled and wanted to help us get the best look with what we wanted to install. The good ole boy attitude was not to be found with either Tony, the owner, or Tim, our electrician that was sent to help us. Imagine our surprise when Tim informed us that the burning smell we kept sniffing with our switches was because many of them were installed with used parts when the house was built in 1995, and were not correct. A fire waiting to happen.... all are new now, no more problems. We are happy with In Phaze and will continue to call them for all of our electrical needs. Thanks to the expert, excellent work and all the updates and installs, after our appraisal, we came in at over sixty thousand more than we expected to get. YEAH!!! THANK YOU TONY AND TIM!!! We SO appreciate everything.
Description of Work: House examination for what was up to code or not. All switches on first floor in house changed, many with dimmers... we have a large house, and we have lots and lots of switches. Three large chandeliers hung, needed braces, and then adjusting them up and down till they were just right. Five other light fixtures installed in various rooms. A series of led pot lights installed down a long hallway. Two fans hung. Old pot lights updated with new surrounding bodies that were flush to the ceiling, and the bulbs changed. Flood lights not working on the outside of house, problem found and corrected. Three light lamppost outdoor light installed, with cement pour.

I called In-Phaze and they came out and spent almost 3 hours removing my UPS from the circuit breaker and re-wiring a light dimmer that I had but they only charged me $75 dollars!! I was amazed and impressed by the positive attitude from the owner, who answers the phone when you call, to the actual serviceman that came out to my business. Very impressive.

About a year ago I asked another electrical contractor to give me an estimate for about half of the work that In Phaze just performed and they quoted me $1,500. I was delighted when Tony showed me other areas that weren't up to code and quoted me $1,100 to do everything. Chris did the work and was very good and fast. He explained what he was doing and how important the improvements were including saving money because of the wires he was using that bring electricity into the house. As a bonus I now have a 30 Amp circuit right next to my travel trailer and have control of all my flood lights in my Florida Room. I couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: 1) Replaced exterior dual amp meter base with new 200 Amp meter combo base with new grounding. 2) Ran 3 way wiring from garage to back patio for switching flood lights. 3) Tied in 1 flood light to other 2 on circuit 4) Cleaned up wiring under garage light switch with new 15 Amp circuit. 5) New 30 Amp 120 volt outlet for travel trailer.

+ -1 moreOur GFI outlet would not reset. We tried to correct the problem ourselves by installing a new outlet. It still would not work, so I checked Angie's List for an electrician. I found InPhaze and liked their website. I called and talked to the owner. After suggesting a few ideas on what we could check, we decided that someone come out and troubleshoot. He gave us a time frame and price. The electrician come out within a few hours and fixed the problem. Everyone was professional, friendly, and courteous.
Description of Work: Our GFI outlet would not reset. I called the company. The owner suggested some troubleshooting we could try. It was decided that an electrician come out to solve the problem.

+ -1 moreTony came right out. We did not have to wait. We were afraid we would be without power overnight considering it was around 6pm when we called. I was afraid I would have to move my food, where are my family and I going to go for the night, etc., etc.??? Well Tony made all of those worries go away right away. He had our power back on within 2 hours, pulled a permit and replaced the panel and did all of the other work 2 days later. Tony said that he has been in business for only a year. I can tell that he really wants to please his customers and really cares. He told me that it is just him and his main electrician Chris. Chris is just as polite and caring as Tony. I believe that Tony and In Phaze will go far if they stick to their way that they are going now. Good Job Tony! And Good Job In Phaze Electric. I hope this review helps them.
Description of Work: Ok, so my electrical in the house stopped working. The first person we called was In Phaze. They were referred by a friend of ours. The owner (Tony) told us to call the power company first because they are free and if they cant fix the problem then to call back. They told us that our panel was burning on the inside and that we needed an electrician. We called Tony back and he was out within 1 hour. He was able to temporarily wire up the panel and get us back working. While he was here we discussed some other issues we were having and also some additional stuff we wanted to have done. He quoted us a price of $3000.00 to replace the panel, replace all of the switches and outlets in the house, replace 5 lights, and install 8 recess lights in 2 rooms. We believed it to be a fair price and later learned that it was a very good price. (One of our neighbors works for an electrical company). The work was completed 2 days later, we received a $100.00 off coupon which he told us about on his website making the total $2900.00. These guys were very neatly dressed very kind and most of all very professional and kinda old fashioned in the way of handling business, quoting a price on the spot and not changing it. Tony made us feel very comfortable and we had no problems paying the price. Oh and not to mention he asked what our electric bill was and told us that we would save some money from now on. He informed us that whoever installed the original panel neglected to tighten the connections causing heat and an increase in our bill. I believe he is telling the truth. He went to both of my neighbors and asked what their bill was and it runs around $100.00 less than ours. Boy do I hope he is right.
