In Phaze Electric started business in May of 2009. We are unlike any other electrical service and contracting company found in Orlando and the Central Florida area. We pay our technicians exceptionally higher than our competitors. We all understand the value of reputation and thank you in advance for the opportunity to earn your trust in business.. Most of our work comes from Angie's List and other online companies that are based on reviews and feedback from customers. We are an award winning company that strives to stay on top of current competitiveness. When contacting via-message center/email, please leave your phone number and zip code for easier, faster, and more convenient service.
Be ready for these folks when scheduled. They show up on time! A very positive experience.
Description of Work: Nick performed a very fine job replacing my inside breaker box and electrical service. The job took longer than anticipated, but was done well with my expectations met completely. In addition to the box/breakers replacement, Nick install 3x 20A dedicated circuits for my electronics. Pulling the new circuits was quite a chore and took longer than estimated. Nick asked if I wanted him to work late to finish same day or gave me the option to return this morning. I appreciate the option and was glad that Nick was able to finish the job to my satisfaction today. The estimate included an outside service panel that was not required. The final invoice was changed to reflect this, lowering my Invoice below the original estimate! No fuss about it. They do the "right" thing! I'll definitely use In Phaze Electric again due to their "client-oriented" attitude!

Overall went well. I noticed that we had been charged for the amount we spent on the big deal, which was 125 when it should have been reduced by that price, called the company and explained the error and they refunded the money back to the credit card. This is the 2nd time I have had to get a billing issue corrected with them and they fix it no problem, but be careful if you are not someone to analyze your receipts.

Tony was actually the first person I talked to that knew exactly what I was talking about. He was extremely pleasant and although I wasn't expecting to get an appointment for a day or two, he scheduled someone for that very afternoon. Nick arrived a few minutes early, after calling with a 35 minute warning, looked at the job and found that he didn't have a screwdriver small enough for the job. He made trip right then to the nearest store and purchased the tool he needed. He returned within 20 minutes, completed the job and left me with a fully functioning pool alarm. I will think of In-Phase first when I have future electrical challenges

Called and explained what I thought I needed and Tony offered a much easier way that made such great sense, we scheduled the appt. Tony asked if I wanted to purchase the timers or should he ( I liked that), the electrician was at my home as scheduled and installed timers and programmed in timely manner with no mess left behind. Called a second time for the covers outside and received same service.
Description of Work: Called for installing two light timers, very quick service and good!! Called again for two bubble covers to be installed over outside electrical outlets, again very prompted, quick and professional. I will continue to call as needed and recommend them. Thank you In Phaze Elec.

Tony's team was prompt in coming over to provide the estimate and was happy to come in on a Saturday morning to perform the work. When they came to perform the work they showed up when they said they would and were very professional in getting the work completed quickly. This was our third time using this company and we would definitely use this company again.

I called 2 companies before this one but they were too busy. This company said they could get an electrician out before the end of the day (about 3-4 hours.) They looked at the wiring and found the issue. They put up the fan, were very pleasant and also installed 2 light switches for me for $80. The price was lower than I was quoted (maybe because I had the fan already put together) but what impressed me the most was that they responded the same day. I will definately use this company again.

I did the $89 electrical inspection with Jamie and he went through and checked out all the problems I had for him and looked at the panels. He did a great job explaining all of the questions I had for him and was very personable. He had no problems working with the aluminum wiring in my house. The day after doing the work he called and made sure everything was fine and even came back out to fix a problem we were having with one of the circuits he worked on. It ended up not really being his fault but he fixed it just the same. I'd use In Phaze again in a flash and ask for Jamie!
Description of Work: I had the $89 inspection where Jamie checked out all the problems I had and looked over the panel. I had him fix 3 light switched, 3 light boxes, and 3 outlets. This all came to $380 which included wiring, a new outlet housing and special connectors for aluminum wiring.

Within a short time of purchasing the recessed lighting package, Tony contacted me via email to confirm. In addition to the recessed lights, I had rewiring done in the master bedroom and bathroom. Nick did the work, and I cannot say enough good things about him. His work is neat and he is very thorough. I had a number of projects including surround sound wiring, and others. On the first visit Nick and I walked through all the projects, he gave pricing and about how long each of the projects would take for him to complete. We agreed to start with the recessed lighting and the bedroom and bath wiring. The total cost came out to EXACTLY what Nick had quoted on the initial walk through! I don't think I've EVER had that happen!!! Nick explained what he was going to have to do and how long it would take. He ran into a few small unplanned issues and stayed until about 6 p.m. to make sure he finished the work. Nick is absolutely polite, thorough, and CLEAN!!!. Some of the areas he worked in had other construction mess and he even swept that up and left the area cleaner than he found it. I would hire In Phaze again in a heartbeat. Tony runs a first-class company, and he has a top-notch employee in Nick. I have some other projects for wiring and will be hiring them again to do the work. I don't need to shop for another electrical contractor. These are my go-to guys!!

I have a ceiling fan, which I installed in Sept., 2012, that kept tripping the circuit breaker & the light on it quit working. Jamie from In Phaze Electric came on time & quickly found the problem--an exposed wire. He rewired the fan, but couldn't tell if the light wouldn't work because the bulbs were blown or because the remote receiver was fried because I didn't have spare bulbs & the bulbs were those new ones with the 2 posts instead of screwing in, & his meter didn't work on those. He was there one hour & 15 minutes & told me they usually round their time up to the next half hour, but he prorated it & charged for the actual time. Bill was $100 minus the 10% Angie's list coupon, so it was $90. After he left I bought new bulbs & found out the light still didn't work. I called Jamie & he told me to call the company & get a new remote receiver & he'll come back free of charge & replace it for me.

in July 2012 he cashed my check but never purchasing the generator and never did the work. I hired a law firm who sent him a demand letter. Tony called my attorney directly and said he would bring in half of what he owed me in a week and the other half therafter. He never showed up at my attorney's office. I had no choice but to take him to court. Though he has hired an attorney and made a settlement offer to pay me off over this year and next year, I need to make sure that any potential customer knows that he has a very dissatisfied customer out there who he owes ALOT of money to and he has simply NOT done the work. As to his response, i have NEVER threatened him or hurt anyone nor would I. That's not me. If he wants to do the "right thing" as he says in his response, then he should simply pay me back. No "drama"....just do the "right thing". And if he does, i will report back that he did.

In response to this report I will say that this customer went completely out of line forcing this situation. No words can explain the hostility and fear that this customer put on me. I was physically threatened and all for nothing. This customer was dealing with personal issues that may have affected judgement but should have had no bearing on our dealings. He is bent on putting me out of business. I do have an attorney working on this case due to the severe nature of the entire case all around. I have never been so fearful of a person in all my life. I bought a gun due to this customer threatening me physically. I did nothing that warrants this customers actions against me. I try to do everything right and good and if one looks at all of our reports you will see that I mean what I say. This customer will be handled in the right and good way as with any other issue in my life. Please do not let this one review determine your decision to call the best Electrical Service Contractor in Central Florida.

Excellent service! I will definitely hire them again and will recommend them to friends. Alvin was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He arrived on-time and satisfactorily completed all required work. He took time to explain everything to make sure that I understood what he was doing, and even offered alternative options to help me save money. Alvin also went out of his way to help me with additional small items and did not charge me extra for them. When it came time for payment, it was he who reminded me about the 10% discount coupon that I had forgotten about. Also, In Phaze charged me for only 7 hours of labor, even though Alvin spent much more time on this job than that.

We called them because we had a power outage in our sunroom, which had just been remodeled. We were also having some other electrical issues. The service man, Tony, determined that the outage was due to a GFI outlet that was turned off. He also checked out the rest of the house and our electrical panel. He said that we really needed to upgrade our panel and add additional circuit breakers as we were currently running to many outlets on the same circuits. He came back a few days later and replaced our circuit board and moved around the wiring to add more circuits, especially in our kitchen. The job took several hours and Tony was both professional and friendly. He did a good job. However, we continued to have problems with outages in the sunroom. We called and Tony returned. At that time he changed the GFS outlet that kept switching off as well as two other older outlets in the sunroom. As this was something that was a follow up to the two previous visits, not a new issue, I felt that we should not have been charged for the visit, $80.00, and that the price he charged for materials, $40.00, was very inflated. This is the reason I gave them a lower rating as to price and overall satisfaction. Overall, we were satisfied with the job they did. My only hesitation in calling them in the future is being charged twice for something that should have been detected and repaired on the first visit.
Description of Work: They changed our electrical panel and on a later date also replaced some GFI outlets.

Hi member, I do thank you for the review. I went back to look up both invoices and see that combined they total $1075. I replaced the panel which I do remember had signs of charring and melting particularly coming from the area that that circuit was being fed from thus my reasoning for taking the first much needed step of replacing the old fpe panel. I would argue that our cost was too high when combining the 2 but I do understand the frustration of the problem not being resolved on the first trip. I never attempt to do more than what is needed in attempts to save you some money. This sometimes can be a bad thing but I don't like to go all in if it's not needed. As a consumer myself I don't want to spend anything that is not needed. I apply this same principal to the business. With all that is going on regarding inflation and the rising costs of everything I really do all I can to not spend more of your money than is needed. To be honest this same job even 15 to 20 years ago would have cost a customer closer to $1400. Things are getting very squeaky tight out there and if inflation continues to rise I cannot see how any true legitimate business will stay afloat. I do appreciate your honesty and will definitely keep it in mind if and when you call us back out. Thank you Tony Taylor CEO

Nick and his assistant arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time due to traffic. They got right to work and finished the job in 5 hours. One hour beyond the estimated 4 hours, which was acceptable. I am very pleased with the work that was done. Hi member, I do think that I need to take down this offer of 2 hours of landscape lighting inspection and repair down. Landscape lighting is any electricians worst nightmare. Most jobs have low voltage systems installed with underground splices, areas that landscapers have cut the wires, old rusted out sockets, bad expensive transformers and so on. It typically takes 2 hours just to figure out what is going on. Most that we have done this job for we work 3-4 hours and install some parts but are unable to get the whole system repaired which leaves the customer frustrated. We give an estimate to finish the repairs and our customer is left with a bad taste in there mouth. We did one of these jobs this week and I actually sent 2 electricians on 2 separate days with no resolve to making all of the repairs. My electricians are payed higher than any electricians in the state of Florida so with $107 and a total of 6 hours for 2 electricians this means I am paying that customer to make attempts to repair all of the lighting. This offer is a no go it's just too difficult to make the customer happy as with you and all of the other $107 landscape lighting offers. Sorry that we didn't come all the way through for you. Sincerely Tony Taylor CEO

Great company, good service and very competitive pricing. I've used this company a couple times to add some electrical components. The second time they were here, I asked the gentleman if he could run some wires through the attic to hook up my surround sound. He was happy to, charged me for the additional time/materials and finished quickly.
Description of Work: After using the company from a big deal I purchased, we called In Phaze to come out again to do some work. While Nick was out, I asked if he could route some wires for my surround sound in the attic. He was able to do the work quickly and reasonably. The issue was resolved within minutes, and we have been very happy with this company after both service calls.

We had purchased security cameras for the perimeter of our home and needed them wired and installed. We called In Phaze Electric and asked if they would come out and give us an estimate. Tony and a technician came out, crawled around the attic, and were very thorough in understanding what the job would require to complete. We were told approximately $400 (plus their $17.99 service charge) and also that 3 of the cables we had were too short for the job. So, we ordered 3 longer cables. Once we received them, we called and made the appointment with In Phaze to come and do the job. The two technicians arrived a little early and set about doing the job. They were very professional, very focused, and worked quickly. We were very happy with the guys, their work, their manner, and their work ethic. The job came out very close to the estimate. Our cameras are all up and running. And we are very satisfied customers.
Description of Work: Two technicians ran wiring from one central point in the house, through the attic in all directions for seven security cameras around the perimeter of our home. Then they mounted and connected all seven cameras.

Tony came out to my house a week prior to give me an estimate on a complete house plug and switch replace. I let Tony know that a previous company had come in and started the job but not only did they not finish but they did an absolutely terrible job with unprofessional looking outlets/switches, left many fans and lights in rooms where they no longer worked and at the end of the day there were many fire hazards behind many of the switches and outlets due to incorrect wiring. Tony spent almost an hour at my house walking me through what his team would do to fix the current electrical issues from the last company, how his team would fix the switches/outlets that had been completed and how his team would finish the job that the last company did not finish. A week later Mike and Nick from from In Phaze came out on time and I walked them through the situation I was in from the previous company. They totally understood and felt bad that I had been put in the situation I was in. They both started working immedietely on the outlets and switches and had the entire house done in around 5 hours each. Just to give you an idea, the last company one guy came out on three seperate occastions for a total of 24 hours and did not complete the job, outlets/switches looked unprofessional and left me with a fire hazard. It's safe to say that In Phaze did the job right the first time around and in a timely manner. I was very satisified with everything about In Phaze's work and I will definitely use them again. In fact, before they left I walked them through some electrical boxes I want installed in my front and back yards for landscape lighting and they gave me an estimate for that and I will be using them for this work in a few months. A+++++++++
Description of Work: In Phaze came in to do a number of things: 1. Assess poor/unprofessional work that was completed by another company. 2. Fix issues that were caused by the previous company due to poor electrical wiring (lights not working, fans not working, etc.) 3. Fix the unprofessional manner in which the outlets/switches were mounted as well as fix any incorrect electrical wiring behind each outlet/switch. 4. Finish replacing the rest of the outlets/switches the last company did not finish.

Nothing makes me happier than to see a job go right from start to finish. Roughly 30% of our work is generated by inexperienced "electrician" or on some occasions a homeowner will attempt to do some work themselves. I do understand our economical situation but the last thing we need is to head in the direction of poor and unsafe building craftsmanship...especially regarding electricity. I was bothered by the work that was done in this home. In my 25 years experience I have never seen such unsafe conditions that were easily hidden in the walls behind switches and receptacles. Please call us out when you are ready to finish the work we discussed. Thank you for trusting us with your home.
