In Phaze Electric started business in May of 2009. We are unlike any other electrical service and contracting company found in Orlando and the Central Florida area. We pay our technicians exceptionally higher than our competitors. We all understand the value of reputation and thank you in advance for the opportunity to earn your trust in business.. Most of our work comes from Angie's List and other online companies that are based on reviews and feedback from customers. We are an award winning company that strives to stay on top of current competitiveness. When contacting via-message center/email, please leave your phone number and zip code for easier, faster, and more convenient service.
Nick, employee, called day of original appt. Was running late on another job. Rescheduled for next day. Was on time for that appt. Personable and diligent-completed job efficiently. Personally showed me entire house outlets and that all were functioning as they should. I would definitely use this company again. Have already recommended them to a friend and neighbor.

I was totally pleased with all work performed. There is no doubt that I would use In Phaze for all future electrical jobs.
Description of Work: I had 2 outdoor security lights replaced, a kitchen light fixture replaced, a new bedroom fan installed, a doorbell replaced, and an outdoor outlet installed. A bad outlet was also replaced in the kitchen. Bobby and Josh were very professional in completing these numerous jobs and cleaned up all areas before they left.

I had three quotes to get the work done. Mike came out from In-Phaze to quote the job. He showed up on time, discussed the project with me and left a quote. The price was reasonable for the amount of work to be completed. After deciding to hire In-Phaze, Mike coordinated scheduling with Duke Power and the county inspector for the replacement of my main power line. He worked around my schedule to complete the interior jobs. I would hire them back without a thought for three main reasons - They did what they said they were going to do, on time, each time. The price did not change. My home was left the way Mike found it - clean. Professionals in a service business - what a novel idea!

I requested that Phazed Electrical come to my house to install an RV receptacle and check an out side GFCI outlet that wasn?t working. My appointment was made for between 1 and 2 three days from the date I called. On the day the appointment was scheduled I received a call from Nick at about 12:45 indicating he was about 45 minutes from the house but planned on being there around 1:30. Nick arrived at approximately 1:30 and asked what the job was. I told him what I needed and showed him the areas he would need to access, which were available and easily accessed. He made up a list and indicated what he would need and then went to get the parts. He returned almost two hours later with the parts, performed the installation and repaired the non-working electrical outlet. He left the work area cleaner than when he started, he was cheerful, upbeat and he worked straight through to the finish. The installation was just as requested. I was very pleased with the work and will consider them again should I need electrical work.

Appointment was scheduled for 5:30pm, however, provider was running late due to previous appointments and did not arrive until 8:30pm. He called around 7pm, to let me know that he was sorry and was running late, which I appreciated, but I would have like a call closer to 5:30pm. Once he arrived, the service was outstanding! He took the time to explain the problem and his recommended solution. Despite the fact that it was now nearly 9pm, he happily took a trip to Home Depot to purchase the needed parts, and quickly installed them once he returned. He took the added step of securing the electrical box to the nearest wall in order to get it off the ground, where it previously sat. Overall, I am very pleased with the service I received and I will definitely contact In Phase for future electrical needs.
Description of Work: Installed new switch for pool pump. Switch had to be housed in a waterproof box, and he took the extra step of securing the box to the neaerest wall (prior to service, the box sat on the ground).

Hired them to come over and install a GFCI outlet and had an appt. for 3pm, he didn't show up until 4pm, then when Nick got to the house and saw the job he said it would be like two hours of work. Instead of doing the job that day like he promised he said he was too busy and couldn't come back until Weds., that's 4 days away. I find it hard to believe he is so busy he can't install an outlet for four days. So I am cancelling the job he scheduled because after further thought, if he couldn't do it the day he promised to do the job, that was a day wasted in which I needed it done. I will call someone who comes to do the job on the scheduled day, because it's a simple one. I was going to hire In Phaze for other jobs at my other house but now I will have to find another electrician. * In response to the provider: The job took Ferran 1 hour to complete, so I do not know what Nick or you are talking about when he says the job would have taken too long, or he didn't want to inconvenience us, that didn't even come up in the conversation. The entire thing was awkward because he called if could come early, we weren't able meet early, so then he comes an hour after the3pm appt., if you're going to be late and you pride yourself on punctuality then call and say "hey, I'm going to be late". I don't like giving negative reviews but this was the experience we had. Nick went there to do a job and it wasn't done. I drove over there to make sure she got what she needed, all of us wasted half our day waiting for this one hour job to be rescheduled four days later. I felt like Nick did not want to do the job, for whatever reason. The reason we ended up cancelling was because Nick said it would be a two a job at least, plus trying to install the bidet, which he said he didn't know how long it would take. So we were not only going to have to wait 4 more days but we would have spent by Nick's estimate at least $250 in time, he wasn't even sure how long it would take. Ferran came by on Monday at 7:30 AM and was out of the house by 8:30, job fully complete.
Description of Work: Came to the house but did nothing.

Response from In Phaze Electric, Inc.
Hello member, I spoke with Nick regarding this mix up. I was a little confused because the name that is referred to is a customer we took care of back in late June. Nick explained that over the weekend we had scheduled to come out to your sisters home so now I know who this review is referencing. First off I do apologize for any inconvenience. I can't imagine another company going to the measures we go to make a customer happy. As far as being 1 hour late...we do everything we can to be punctual but one must have some understanding that we cover 2500 square miles from Leesburg to Davenport, Christmas to Clermont. 50% of our day can sometimes be driving. As a consumer myself I try to do right what I know is wrong. Personally I do not like when my cable, elec, or phone co. gives me a 5 hour window. Most customers are working and cant take half a day off to sit and wait on us. To remedy this we always call our customer if we are running late which in your case Nick informed me that he called. The other reason we call is so that sometimes the customer can leave work and meet us, therefore being as efficient with time as possible. We do apologize for being late but just know we try hard to be on time. Punctuality is our lowest grade here on Angies List. I could probably change that if I were to give customers a 3 hour window but I will take the few B reviews for punctuality in attempts to accommodate all the other customers who understand our attempts. The other point to note is that you were disappointed that the job was not done on Saturday at 4pm. Nick informed me that when he said how long it was going to take that you made mention of rescheduling. I do know from my own experience that sometimes customers are overly polite. My wife is one of these types of people. She won't just tell you what she wants. We are quick thinkers and movers from the time we start our trucks to the time we walk back in our doors in the evening. Time is our worse enemy in a day. We feed off of the thoughts and words of our customers. When Nick felt that it was going to inconvenience you for him to stay and work late he went to plan B and rescheduled you for his next available which was Wednesday. I am a firm believer that a customer is always right and if there is an issue we need to make any and all attempts to fix it. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to make this right for you. I take it personally when when we lose a customer because they are not happy. I also know that you can't make everyone happy all the time but we sure try.

Hi member, we sure do like knowing that your house has the In Phaze seal of safety on it. Rest assured you shouldnt need an electrician back to your house in 10-15 yrs. Personally I have come to realize as a business owner that money is simply a product of your value of a customer and their needs. We do everything in our power to be as informative as we can when it comes to the needs of your home. Most individuals tend to neglect the electrical in their home and we usually don't get called until something goes wrong. Our goal is to communicate your homes electrical needs as a whole when we come out. I have encouraged all our technicians to inspect the entire home if possible no matter what we are called out to do. Most customers haven't had an electrician in their home for years so what better than to communicate to that customer any issues to be aware of that may come up in the near future. Like you many customers take our advice and decide to update their old and outdated and at times dangerous electrical system in their home. For me, and I can say this with all honesty, I truly love knowing that when I leave someones home that their house is 100% and they will not need me for along time to come. Money is merely the product of good customer service. All workers and businesses need grasp that concept. We all work too hard to earn our money to just simply give it away to someone who is ungrateful and doesn't really care. We care!

Overall, it was good experience. The technician was on time and was good about discussing options for my request. The technician did not have the part needed and had to go to the hardware store. This took a lot longer than I expected (over an hour despite the store being only about 15 minutes away). Given that the deal I purchased was a two hour time limit, I wondered if he was killing time since the fix was an easy one. The technician ran into some difficulties, and ended up taking 2 1/2 hours in all, so I was alright with the time he was gone.

This generally went well. The service technician was amiable, responsive to homeowner concerns, and competent. The only problem was that In Phaze Electric relied on the local big box stores for parts. He had to go to two stores to round up the necessary parts, which took quite a while, and nonetheless was unable to find a surge protector. He had to return the next week with a surge protector to successfully complete the job. Once done, it all looks and works great.
Description of Work: The provider completely changed out our main circuit panel and breakers, re-labled all the breakers, inspected inside receptacles, and installed a whole-house surge protector. He also provided a requested estimate on some possible future work.

the job went very smoothly. they showed up right on time, and completed the work promptly and professionally. After they left, we had an electrical problem (which turned out to be outside the house, and the responsibility of our utility company) and In Phaze responded immediately to come back and check it out. Even though the problem was not theirs, they did not charge us for the return visit. Overall, we are very pleased and would definitely use In Phaze Electric for future electrical work.
Description of Work: In Phaze replaced our main service panel and provided whole-house surge protection under Angie's List coupons. We also had them replace the main distribution panel in the garage, replace a bad outlet and add an outside outlet.

Staff is super professional, easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants top notch professionals.

We had originally just called for the plug in master bath, but since the call, noticed a warm switch in the other bathroom. I purchased the Angie's List special to add an outdoor electrical box for $125, while that was the special price I have had other outlets installed outside for about the same price. But since I needed another outlet and they had the special I gave them a try to just see if I could use them in the future. Nick did the work in short order as expected, a simple job for any electrician. It took him about 40 minutes and he was professional. I will try them again in the future as I have other electrical issues that have to be addressed.

I called Tony Taylor, the owner of In Phaze Electric, yesterday (Friday) to see if he would be able to hang/connect a replacement ceiling fan on our back porch. He looked at his schedule and suggested Monday but discovered that he might be able to have his electrician, Nick, tack this job on to his schedule the next day. Nick brought his electrician's equipment in, including ladder, when he arrived and did not have to leave the house to get anything from his truck. Saved time! He was courteous and went straight to work. Nick kept working steadily and got the job done without any problems. He cleaned up after the work and carried the new fan box and debris out to our trash. Friendly and professional - nice combination!

I had purchased a Big Deal $99.00 for 2 Hours of Electrical Service. I had another project going on and the company working on that project ended up covering the electrical service that I had purchased this big deal for so the services were no longer required. But when I did make this purchase In Phaze called me right away and set up an appointment right then, gave me all available times they could come and were unbelievable. I did get a refund but it had absolutely nothing to do with In Phaze, they were very professional and ready to do the work so if I do need electrical services in the future I will be calling them to do the job.

We asked for the outlet to be installed inside our screened enclosure. We did get someone fairlly quick out to install. The outlet does work, but the installer cut too big a hole for the outlet so there are gaps on the side. It just doesn't look as professional as we expected. My husband had to fix the appearance after he left.

Hi customer, its always wonderful to see another satisfied customer. We just passed our 4th year June the 9th. That was the date of the first invoice I wrote. In Phaze is a true testament to what happens to a business when your customers always come first. We are not always perfect but i would venture to say that we try harder than any other company out there. As I said below the money is simply a product of a job well done.
