Victor came to the house and gave me a free estimate; I interviewed 3 contractors and their pricing was competitive. We scheduled the job and they did a great job and I'm very happy with the end result... I have no complaints. There seemed to be a snafu with the ordering of the materials for the job, which delayed the job completion. But they returned with the materials and finished. We also found we didn't like the look of the LED bulbs Victor and I had agreed to during the estimate (never used LED before, so wasn't sure what to expect). Victor worked with us and ultimately wanted us to be happy with the end product. The final cost of the job was exactly as quoted. We will call them again for any electrical work.

While the job was ultimately satisfactory, the professionalism of the crew left much to be desired. I feel that I was paying top dollar for less than top performance and experience. In my experience, this is not a company that has a tried and true staff of expert electricians. Rather, it appears that the company hires local freelancers or independent contractors to do the work -- and they don't seem to have been vetted very well. A supervisor type showed up with someone whom he apparently had just met and laid the job out for him. It took much longer than anticipated and they had to make several return visits over a period of weeks. When the job was ostensibly completed, I inquired about the where the Ground Fault switches were that I paid for, and it turned out that they were not installed at all, nor was the surge protection that was advertised as part of the deal. Here is my message to the owner: "When I paid for the the Panel Upgrade Special -- a month ago -- per your special (advertised as coming with surge protection), I told [your crew] that my biggest concern was that many of the receptacles in this house were only two prong. He suggested that the way to deal with that was to have GFI at the panel -- that was one of the reasons I agreed to pay $1,200 in addition to the price for the advertised special. Now the job is finally wrapped up and I find I have no GFI and no surge protection. Meanwhile, I have been installing three prong receptacles in areas like the kitchen because I was repeatedly assured by your guys that my house was now electrically safe in every respect." The owner was very responsive and conscientious, and the job was finally done satisfactorily. While it may be a good way for management to save money on employee expenses like Social Security, and taxes, etc., by hiring independent contractors, in my case I would rather have well-trained professional employees performing the work -- especially electrical work.

Found them through Angie's List and Nick came out to fix a light switch in the kitchen the we had tried replacing but still didn't work. He was quick, found the problem and repaired the light switch. He asked me if I had any other electrical work I needed done, it was very nice and provided his phone number if we had any other needs. Overall a great experience. We will be using them again if we need to.

Power off for the garage. Wire got disconnected. They came and located the disconnection, connected it. The problem is that they didn't tell me to charge me 120 for connecting the wire until it was done. You can charge me, but you have to let me know first!

It's gone pretty well. They are fine. Their price was very competitive.

They are AWESOME!! Punctual, friendly, efficient, courteous, neat and all around dependable. I would definitely recommend them and would call upon them again. I wish I could take them up north with me as well. Thank you!

The technician was on time, friendly and professional. He inspected the entire house - even my coach lights around the garage ( I asked him to). I was having an issue with my pool light and he discovered that ants had eaten away at the fuse outside. He was great.

They were responsive and kept me up to date on what was going on during the process. Of the 3 companies I contacted for quotes, they were the only ones who ran the electrical through my house vs. digging underground to bury cables. They were also cheaper by as much as $1000.00. Very happy with my choice. Would use them again.

Both Mark and Jeff did an great job getting this done in one day. Both technicians were very professional and focused on the job a hand. Mark honored my original estimate to the penny and even extended the warrantee at no additional cost. I feel very confident in their work and I know I will use them for additional work in the near future.

Nick D'Aquila was helpful and professional. He was quick to repond to my call and made me the first appointment of his day. He is a great guy and does great work.

In Phaze Electric is actually the first contractor I have used on Angie's List. I can only hope that the future contractors I find are just as awesome as In Phaze. They've been great since Bobby first came out to do an inspection. He walked through the house and pointed out some of the issues that we had, he also listened to what we wanted to do. We went through three different quotes because I kept wanting to add projects. He was very patient with me and wanted to make sure he got everything written down correctly. Bobby is probably the best asset they have, along with Jeremy who was the main electrician completing the work. With as much as we had going on the job took about two days. Even after everything was installed I wanted two lights that were one one switch to be on separate switches, they came out the next day and rewired them to be on separate switches. They noticed some minor issues in our attic that weren't addressed in the initial inspection, but they went ahead and fixed them. Bobby made sure that everything was completed properly and to our satisfaction. With everything that was done, I shouldn't ever need an electrician again, but if I do, In Phaze would be the only ones I would trust!

The visit went very well. Jay walked through out the house explaining everything he was doing and looking for. Had good suggestions and recommendations.

I was very appreciative of the installer's patience and problem solving since the initial ladder he had on hand was not tall enough to reach the remote control kit located at the ceiling canopy instead of lower at the suspended fan itself. Considering he had to make special arrangements for another longer ladder, their service and materials cost was extremely reasonable! He even allowed us to quickly borrow the ladder to thoroughly dust the ceiling fan and adjacent wall ledges before he left, which was a huge help since renting and handling such a large ladder makes the task a real chore otherwise!

Lamonte came out to our house and fixed a broken fan. It actually was a simple problem but difficult to diagnose. He figured out the issue quickly and completed the repair. Awesome job, fair price, and would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Mark was very professional. He took time to talk about the service he ptovided. It was a pleasure during business with Mark.

Our A/C breaker kept tripping, and it's just miserable to deal with any amount of time with no air conditioning. In Phaze understood this and sent Mike out the same day I called. Mike was there on time and was meticulous in explaining what the possible causing for the A/C acting up. He was professional, knowledgeable, organized, and hard working. I could not be more pleased or ask for anything else. I've already referred them to several friends and co-workers, because they are the BEST electricians out there. Anyone in need of quality work to be done at a reasonable price will have found a new company for life. Thanks Mike, for all your hard work. You've been great to work with!

From first phone call to finished work, I couldn't be happier. They sent Mark out right away and he gave me a good price on all the work to be done. Mark was very professional, personable, arrived each visit on time, and got the work done very quickly. There wasn't any portion of my interaction with this company that I did not feel they were 100%. The quality of the work was excellent, Mark and the office staff were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend them to others, and use them for any future electrical needs. I emailed IN PHAZE on line to explain what I wanted from them and Tony called me back right away to set up a date to come to do the job. I was told Jay would be the one to do the installation and would come at at 9, but at 10, he said he would be there soon and he showed up around 10:40 or so. But once he was there, he was very quick and did an excellent job! He was extremely professional and very easy to talk to. Will definitely use him for any future electrical needs :)

Everything was more than perfect!!! From the moment we contacted them (after hours at 10pm!!!) they were super cordial, professional and attentive. The electrician, Jay, came to hour home really fast, checked everything, found and fixed all the problems, and stayed until we reconnected everything and confirmed that the problem was solved. He was all the time super nice, explained everything that was going on to us, very professional, and of course, fixed everything!!! We couldn't be more happier with the service provided!!!

Nick is wonderful. Whole house electrical , pool light connection along with flood light. Recess lighting install. Great job. Company too expensive. $300 a visit too much. $80 per hour ?

I spoke to Tony and was able to set up an appointment very promptly. Mark the electrician called prior to the appointment to confirm he was on the way and arrived on time. I explained what I needed for the new outside porch, which was a ceiling fan box as well as an additional outside electrical box. He wrote up the estimate, which was very reasonable, and work was started right away. There was one unexpected snag with the porch ceiling insulation foam which caused the job to take a little longer then estimated. Mark said that the original estimated price would still apply, even though the job took longer. Outstanding customer service! Mark was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. I will recommend In Phaze to all of my friends and family, and will contact them again for all my future electrical needs. A truly top notch company and well deserving of their Angie's List Super Service Awards.
