Rudolf and Ali did a fabulous job. They are so easy to work with. We loved coming home to see how much they accomplished every day. They laid drop cloths on the floors every day, then cleaned up...neat as a pin! His suggestions were always spot on. If he was unsure how we wanted something, he left a note and we explained what /how we wanted it to look. We couldn't be happier at the end result. And we definitely will recommend this professional company for the quality of the workmanship.

I purchased a foreclosed property and the Master Bathroom was in major need of repair. I hired Rudolf to refinish the entire shower closure. As I was so busy, I left most of the planning and even product choices to him. I asked for basic white tile with trim. He based the product decisions on other items he had noticed in my home (paint color etc). His choices were perfect, almost like he knew exactly what I wanted. I am so happy with the finished results.

I found Rudolf with Holden Handymen on Angie's List. He responded to my email the same day. I advised him my parents wanted to convert their bathtub to a shower. He came out and gave an estimate right away. We are very happy we were able to have him do the work. He remodeled their guest bathroom which included changing from tub to shower, tiling the shower and floor, installing new toilet, glass shower door and vanity. He is a quality craftsman and, honest business person. These are not qualities easily found these days! Best of all, the bathroom looks great. I am most pleased with Rudolf's devotion to perfection with the laying of the tile. The patterns he came up with are great. We are very happy with the process and the outcome. I plan to use him for my bathtub remodel when he is available..

This provider was not able to help us, BUT I appreciated his honest and integrity of explaining that he was not available at this time. He spoke politely and professionally on the phone. I will consider using him in the future. My experience in the past is that a vendor leads you on that they are available and then the job lags on. Thank you for taking my call and not letting it ring or go to a voice mail. I hope you will be available in the future.

Rudolf did an amazing job. Competitive pricing, great craftmanship, punctual, great communication, no drama. He also gave great advice on some of the design ideas that were still up in the air when he started the job.

Rudolf was a great find. He had a busy schedule but I was glad that I waited for him. He totally gutted both of my bathrooms down to the studs. He tore out a closet to extend my master bathroom. Installed a pocket door. Replaced the subfloor and did joist work in one bathroom. He moved my plumbing and did some minor electrical work. He knows a little about everything which was great. He kept me up to date and informed of the progress. He was very clean and need as was his helper. I have had numerous positive comments about both bathrooms. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again in the future.

We were so impressed with the work that was done in our first bathroom that we had him do our second bathroom as well. He takes the time to do the job right. His attention to detail is magnificent! Most contractors wouldn't care about the tiny little things, but he does! He has a lot of passion for what he does! I wish we had another bathroom for him to work on.

I would like to provide the highest recommendation for Holden Handyman. We sought several estimates to have a quest bathroom remodeled. Rudolf, the great talent behind Holden Handyman, provided an honest estimate that was half of what another firm provided. He arrived at our home each day precisely when he said he would. He and his helper were very careful to keep mess out of the rest of the house, and he cleaned up each day before leaving. He went on from there to complete the job perfectly in just two days. He maintains the highest standards in every element of his work. With the utmost confidence, I highly recommend Holden Handyman, Inc. for any of your remodel needs.

Rudolf was very prompt each day and if he was going to be late, he always let us know. He immediately got to work and after removing the toilet and vanity, which we wanted to save, started the "demo" process. Once the demolition process was finished, he had to move the existing shower drain to accommodate the new tub/shower and also replace the sheetrock (not the proper term for shower usage...but I don't know the name of the actual material he used) to prepare it for the new tile. He built the frame for the new tub and always kept us informed of anything that was the slightest bit different from what we originally discussed. When the tub frame was finished, he did the tile work, set the tub, and reinstalled the toilet and vanity His work was excellent and at the end of 2 weeks, I now have a lovely new modern-looking guest bathroom. Don't bother calling here he's not taking on any more work-to busy. Very abrupt.

Based on the Angie's List reviews I had read and my experiences with Rudolf in getting the estimate, I was fairly certain that this job would go well, and it did. The only glitches came from the mistakes Lowe's made with the materials (a broken tub, missing vanity, cracked vanity top), and Rudolf solved all the problems. He always kept me informed and got my input about solutions (for example, I did not want a different style vanity, I wanted the one I ordered). Rudolf focused on solving problems in a timely manner and did so. He had excellent suggestions about where they would set up and always checked with me first. I had thought the garage for cutting tile, he suggested the back porch, and that was much better--they did not have to bring things in through the rest of the house. He sealed the bathroom from the rest of the house, so there was no dust or debris from the demolition that went into the rest of the house, and odors were well contained. Both Rudolf and his assistant were always pleasant, hard-working, and neat. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the work day. Rudolf would let me know their plans for the next day -- what time to expect them, what they planned to accomplish. Best of all, the bathroom looks great. I am most pleased with Rudolf's devotion to perfection with the laying of the tile. The patterns he came up with are great. I am very happy with the process and the outcome.

He never gave an estimate because he doesn't work in townhomes

Was very strange. We called and he came out for an estimate. He looked at both bathrooms that we wanted to have remodeledand gave us some initial observations. He said he was very busy,but had an opening and could fit us in. He promised an estimate would be sent to us no later than following week. Rather than an estimate, we received an email from Rudolf that simply said "Unfortunate I will not be able to bid on your work. We had been excited to work with him as he seemed like a professional craftsman,so I responded and asked him if he could do it if we waited, or could he give further explanation, but he never replied. Didn't seem like A+ service to us.

Rudolph was prompt and efficient and very courteous. The shower came out great and was exactly what I was expecting. I would not hesitate to work with him again!

This person obviously has issues with people and angies list. I wont use him. these people are a dime a dozen

We found Rudolf with Holden Handymen on Angie's List. He responded to my voicemail the same day saying he was unfortunately too busy to even give an estimate. I was very impressed that he took the time and courtesy to respond and to do so right away. We contacted him a couple of months later and he responded immediately and came out and gave an estimate right away. We are very happy we were able to have him do the work. He did a total remodel of our master bathroom and we could not be happier. He is a quality craftsman, honest business person and great communicator. These are not qualities easily found these days! We will be contacting him again soon for our next bathroom remodel.

I have heard a lot of great complements on his work and speaks volumes on why he has more work than he can perform. I appreciate that he was direct and honest in saying he could not take on my project. Others my have made promises that they could not have kept. Hoping to be able to use him in the future.

We did have Rudolf back to work on my second bathroom and he again did an excellent job. He totally impressed me with his good work ethics and professionalism, which is becoming hard to find these days. He is very trustworthy and honest and it turned out to be such a pleasant experience to have him work on my projects. He is a perfectionist and went above and beyond to pursue the highest craftsmanship that completely earned my respect and appreciation. He started to feel like family and I am glad we not only hired an excellent contractor but also found a great friend who can vision your designing ideas and turn them into beautiful reality. I already decided to hire Rudolf to work on our Master bathroom!

We had a total make over on one of our three bathrooms. We hired Rudolf based on his excellent reviews on Angie's list. It turned out that hiring Rudolf was one of the best decisions I ever made! Rudolf is very pleasant to work with. He is professional, honest, punctual and is very good at what he does. He listens to what you have to say and translates it to something even better than you have imagined. He is an artist who is so proud of his work. He just takes his time and always does an excellent job. We are in love with our new bathroom and we decided to hire him to work on our other two bathrooms and that says it all about how much we like and appreciate his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who are looking for quality work on bathroom remodels.

We had a complete bathroom demolition and remodel. The tub was replaced with a walk in shower and all of the tile was replaced. The old vanity was replaced as were all the bathroom fixtures and a new mirror was installed. This is an older home and it had a lot of imperfections but Rudolph did a fantastic job. Rudolf is a true craftsman!!

Excellent! Rudolph was, from the onset professional, and honest. We had a much more extensive job in mind (and still do), but he said best to start with the small job, see how we like him and his work and go from there. He measured the area we wanted tiled, gave us an idea of how much tile to get, which were the best supplies and the best places to find them. Once we had everything in place he came and worked independently. The job went beautifullly, on schedule, and his labor costs were spot on (if not ---pleasantly, surprisingly, lower than expected ! As I said he worked on his own- I had to go to work and leave him at the house...but he reported his hours honestly..he said he was finished at noon on one of the days that I thought he had worked until 4pm..very honest indeed ). The end result is just as we had imagined...or hoped for! I would, and WILL be hiring him again to do more work in the house. My only hesitation in posting this review was that then he may get too busy to come back and help us some more. But I owe it to him to report how pleased we are with him and his work. His work ethic is truly refreshing... An HONEST, HARD WORKING, SKILLED GENTLEMAN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM !

This project went absolutely fantastic. The new bath room is even better than what I could have hoped for. I have to admit that Rudolf will take his time and this "small" project lasted from Dec 10 - Jan 1 (although understandably he took off a few days for the holiday season). But just know that you will never regret relinquishing your bathroom for 20+ days once you see the finished results. We had a fairly small 2nd bathroom. Everything we had was standard size stuff; bathtub/shower, toilet, sink & medicine cabinet. We got our biggest bang for the buck in the tile work. I showed some photos to Rudolf that I had found for tile pattern inspiration. After we were on the same page I just had to find some materials. Luckily he pointed me towards using porcelain - I did not know the difference between all the materials that were out there. I'm happy I trusted this guy on the porcelain tip! Our price ended up increasing $200 from the original estimate and it took a little extra time for the project to complete. But the results are really nice. We have gratitude for the attention to detail and the preference to do it right rather than do it fast. Everyone who sees it has to compliment us on it.

Everything looks great, and I dont have to worry about this shower leaking like the previous one. I have since had the shower glass door installers comment on how perfectly the walls are measuring up for the glass. Rudolf is completely responsible for that, the walls certainly weren't like that to begin with. If I have any more bathroom or floor work that I needed done, I wouldn't consider anyone else.
