Description of Work: I was going on several months that I was not happy with the performance of my air unit. Other companies had come by with repairs and after each time promised all was fine. No one ever bothered to spend the kind of time and thought that Greens gave us. I think we may have had a problem for years which only got worse over time making my air temperatures more and more uncomfortable. Finally, I think we got it resolved. Thank you to Greens for that. They spent 4 hours at my house mostly on just diagnosing. Wow! I felt like they were there working on their own private family unit. And then the best part is they were extremely reasonable when it came to the invoice. After using the same Air company for the past 10 years or so, I think I found myself a new one!

Description of Work: They came in to replace my pump that pumps the condensation up through the attic. I have a maintenance plan with them and they come out once a year to service the units.

Description of Work: I had a new heat pump system installed. I appreciated that even though there was an existing system, the estimater calculated what size unit was needed based on square feet, cubic feet, amount of insulation, etc.. This resulted in my going with a smaller unit. (The existing unit was too big and too loud.) His calculations revealed that the size of the air return opening should be increased when the new system was installed. (The existing system had been installed before it become standard to put an air return in each area.) It occurred to me immediately before installation that because the existing air return was in a 12 foot high, plaster on wood lathe wall, there was a risk that trying to enlarge the existing opening could cause cracks in the plaster that would be difficult to repair so they were unnoticeable. I was pleased to find that an "installation supervisor" arrived along with the install crew so I had someone with decision making powers with whom to share my concern. He agreed that it would be better to add a second return distant to the first return than to try to increase the size of the existing opening. The fellow who had done the estimate had also checked my electrical service to make sure that no service upgrade would be needed. (Another of the estimates I had received included a sizable amount of money "in case" I needed an electrical upgrade. Yet, if they had checked the electric when they were here, I would have been spared that financial uncertainty.) I was pleased to find that the first year of service for the new equipment was included in the installation price. Also, that the installation supervisor would return a week after the system was in operation to make sure the air flow and temperatures were correct, that the air vents were properly sized, etc.. The two fellows who actually did the installation were quiet, pleasant, respectful of my home and cleaned up nicely afterward.

Description of Work: A/C did not blow cold air this morning so I called Greens. They had a tech come in about 3 hours and he was quick to diagnose the problem; A bad capacitor. He showed me the price to fix it, I agreed and he replaced it and then checked the drain line outside which needed cleaning which he did. He showed me how to do it for next time.

Description of Work: I used Greens Energy Services Inc yesterday. We purchased three units for home and two for office. The company which installed it, they had done some installation mistakes. They come and does the maintenance work. They come twice a year as they have a contract with us.

Description of Work: I submitted a request for a quote on their website. I am replacing my central a/c and wanted them to give me a price. I have not received any follow-up call. I called Greens by phone a year or so ago and no one ever got back to me either. If you want people's business you have to follow-up with them. Don't call me after you read this report.

Description of Work: Green's Energy came to the house to install 2 new thermostats for us. We had called them a few days prior to schedule the appointment and get a quote for the service.

Description of Work: My air conditioner was not blowing cool air. They came out within hours and did just what was needed. Great technician. Turns out my outside unit is old and triped a breaker (kicked myself for not checking that first). So the inside heat pump was running but not the outside. He did a through pressure check on it and gave me the education I asked for (got most of my money's worth).

Description of Work: We had a clog/leak and it was gushing; Roy fixed it, installed something so we could avoid this in the future, cleaned everything AND made us laugh.

Description of Work: I arrived in Orlando in the heat of the summer to visit my daughter only to find her A/C was not working. It was already 7 PM when I discovered this and knew I couldn't sleep there without A/C. I called Greens Energy Services after doing a search on Angie's List. They gladly agreed to come out with the warning that the evening service call would be $99 vs $79 + time and a half. I was looking at the expense of a motel and still had the repairs to do the next day so I agreed to have them come out that night. The service technician arrived at about 9 PM and withing 30 minutes had the A/C working. The bill came to $150.00 and we were cool that night! Highly recommend Greens Energy Service.

Description of Work: My ac unit was not operating. This was one of the hottest days. I called Greens Energy Service after 8 pm on friday. They promised to come down that same evening.and repair the unit. The unit needed some maintenance. They had everything up and running.that same evening. They were highly proffesional, punctional, informative, and instructive in how to prevent an occurance of this event.My wife and I could not be more pleased. The tech would not honor the $20.00 coupon from Angies list. He thought it did not apply to emergency late night service calls. Apparently the people at Greens must have noticed that we didn't get the $20 discount. They called the next day and apoligized and sent a check for $20 and we never complained about the tech's refusal to honor the discount, That's a company you can trust. I would recommend these folks anytime. .
