+ -1 moreGood job on cleaning but no follow up. When contacted by phone, got lots of excuses and promises but no one showed up. Gilman began the process of preparing my pool to be filled however, after it was power washed, no one stabilized the pool. Days later my pool was infested with tadpoles. When I called about stabilizing or treating pool, no one returned my call, left me up in the air with the job unfinished. Thankfully I found a reliable company to complete the work.

+ -1 moreThey were the company that had done all of the original work on the pool. They gave us a quote and we decided to go with them. They were timely, friendly, and were reasonably priced. My husband had some questions and they took the time to go over them with us.
Description of Work: They repaired our pool. They repaired and upgraded our pool lights. They did quite a bit of work.

+ -1 moreWe have owned our current home for 11 years and have always performed the pool maintenance ourselves. My work schedule became too demanding and I needed help with the pool, so someone recommended Gilman Pool Service to me. My pool was NEVER CLEAN after I hired Gilaman, they broke my pool equipment, left my backyard gate open and my dog got out and due to their negligence I had to replace the filter system that cost me nearly $500.00. Luckily we found our dog and we fired Gilman Pool Service. I will go back to maintaining my own pool from now on. I would not recommend Gilman Pool Service to anyone.
Description of Work: We hired Gilman Pool Service to maintain our pool. They were to come out once a week for cleanings and chemical maintenance. My pool was NEVER clean after we hired them. The pool technician would come out and see that the pool was dirty but wouldn't vacuum it, she would just leave and I would still get the bill each month for $95.00. At the time we were trying to sell our home so I needed the pool to be VERY clean all of the time for showings, which never was the case. I called the Gilman office numerous times to inform them of this, but I got no response. They broke my pool equipment and insisted that it was broken when they arrived, which is absolute crap, we never had any pool problems until we hired Gilman. Gilman Pool Service people are a bunch of incompetent expletive!

+ -1 moreTHEY HAVE MAINTAINED THE POOL FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS. THE SERVICE RECORD IS EXCELLENT. THEY RECOMMEND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE REPAIRS AS REQUIRED AND HAVE AN EXCELLENT RESPONSE TO EMERGENCY SERVICE IF AND WHEN REQUIRED.
Description of Work: THEY MAINTAIN THE CONDOMINIUM POOL BY KEEPING IT FREE OF LEAVES, DEBRIS AND CHECKING THE WATER DAILY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. THEY ARE ON AN ANNUAL CONTRACT.

+ -1 moreEACH WEEK ON THE SAME DAY (THE SAME PERSON COMES TO MY HOME) THEY CHECK POOL BALANCES AND CLEAN FILTER. THEY SCRUB THE TILE WALLS AROUND THE POOL. IF I AM NOT HOME THEY ALWAYS LEAVE A NOTE TO LET ME KNOW IF THEY ADDED ANY CHEMICALS (BECAUSE OF THE CHILDREN).
Description of Work: EACH WEEK THE POOL COMPANY COMES TO MY HOME TO CHECK POOL CHEMICAL BALANCES AND FILTER.
