Description of Work: Install, on wall, all cables and wires in wall, 70"Television, sound bar speaker, etc. and set it up.

Description of Work: I called them to have an out of warranty Amana Refrigerator repaired. It was Friday evening. The soonest they could show up just to look at the refrigerator was the next Thursday. I found someone else to show up on Monday and I'll cancel my appointment. Just too darn long to wait without a fridge. They asked for 100 dollars just to show up.

+ -1 moreMiserable...see above! Do: buy from anywhere other than Best Buy Don't: Don't buy Geek Squad protection.
Description of Work: I took my computer in for repair on January 4, 2012. I was given an estimated date of completion on January 12, 2012. When you try to call them at Best Buy, they don't answer the phone. When I went in to ask about the status all the agent could tell me was that the computer was in the back; he couldn't tell me the status of the work or when it would be completed. He scratched his head and said he wondered why they put that estimated date of completion on it because it wasn't ready! I called 1-800-GEEKSQUAD and Agent Addy told me she didn't have any information on the status except that the computer was in the store waiting for repair. She actually yelled at me to be patient or pick up the computer and fix it myself! There were no supervisors available because they were all in a meeting. Agent Addy said that if I didn't like the service that I should talk to the Store Manager. The Store Manager says he doesn't have anything to do with the Geek Squad. No service has been performed. Do: buy from anywhere other than Best Buy Don't: Don't buy Geek Squad protection.

+ -1 moreHe came in on a Sunday, and was in and out because he had other appointments and couldn't find the problem. He finally fixed it though! It just took a long time for him to make sure all the programs ran right. The people at Geek Squad told me that I was going to cost exactly what he charged me.
Description of Work: I had a blank, blue screen! The repair took 7 hours, all in my home. My computer is an Emachine.

Description of Work: IT WAS $80 FOR THE SERVICE AGREEMENT. THE SERVICE AGREEMENT IS GOOD FOR THREE YEARS. THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE HEATING UNIT ON THE DRYER.
